Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

Third Time at Kefalonia but first time at a Electra hotel . It seems that they take very seriously the matter of quality,about every single detail . The food was delicious and kind of cucina povera but in modern times ! If you want to taste a Greek food but in 5 star status , you have find the perfect match . Interior pool at spa facilities is something like lake melisani because of the glass ceiling and the light beams that reflect the light on water , very clever architecture! Treatments are also high quality . Greece you are my beloved summer memory !

An amazing hotel , well cleared and very high quality about really everything!! Staff management and the services was beyond my expectations!! Try a massage at the spa and you will thank me !! An experience at kefalonia that it will be always in my heart!!

The spa facilities were incredible and the staff were even better! We used the sauna and steam room everyday and couldn’t have asked for a better service from the staff. Our room was clean, had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the sea from our bed. There’s nothing I could think of to improve or change for this wonderful place.

Let's deal with the planes first: yes, they fly LOW directly over the hotel and yes, that means it will be noisy when they do. If you can't cope with that, DON'T stay here and then you won't have to write negative reviews on TA. The runway is about 700m from the hotel but we're okay with a few seconds of loud aircraft noise even if it happens a several times a day. Everything is... simply perfect. All the staff... just lovely. I made a note of names but sadly I've lost it but a special mention to the fabulously friendly and truly very smart Zoi (we hope you have a great time back home in Athens this winter) and the gentle, wonderful young lady managing the Spa. My wife had a 70minute massage and said it was one of the best ever. A huge thanks too to the lovely housekeeper who kept our room (108?) immaculate. Everyone made us feel special and valued. I don't know if it's adults only but I wouldn't recommend the Elektra for families with kids, although there is a small, sandy beach across the road. The property is calm, understated luxury, simple but stylish. Everything is well managed and maintained. We stayed four nights in the very last 6 days of the summer season and even though it was still quite busy, it was joyously restful. Location is a little isolated: we didn't hire a car but most do so the pool area was always quiet (it's heated - a rare and much welcomed treat). By chance we found a wonderful taxi driver who was native to Kephalonia and drove us around wherever we needed to go and at whatever time. Very knowledgeable, informative and reliable. I don't usually go back to places once I've ticked the visit box but I think we will definitely return to the Elektra Kephalonia.

Quite simply we had an absolutely amazing holiday for two weeks staying at the Electra Hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so well looked after and spoilt. The whole team made us feel so welcome and like family. Our stay was truly relaxing and we were all able to just switch off and relax. We made use of the spa which was lovely and all of the treatments my family and I had were excellent. The hotel and rooms are spacious and luxurious and the infinity pool overlooking the sea creates a beautiful backdrop for a day of relaxation. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious, generous and lovingly prepared. Dinner was certainly a highlight with most dishes being of the highest standard and quality. The setting of the hotel is stunning and offers the most amazing sunset from the pool, bar and restaurant and one we enjoyed most days. Finally the team at the hotel were the icing on the cake. Everyone was just so kind and eager to help and ensure you had a wonderful time. Efi, Petros, Thannasis, Zoe, Mike, Thanasis, Margarola and all of the rest of the team who I have missed you truly are wonderful and made our stay a truly memorable one. We very much look forward to coming back

Beautiful, boutique hotel. Very relaxed atmosphere and delightful staff. Gorgeous views over the sea & immaculate gardens. Small issue with room and relocated swiftly, which was appreciated. Special shout out for the restaurant - terrific food, service and ambience. Local tavernas OK but not a patch on the hotels own restaurant. Tip - join the Electra rewards scheme, book direct for discounts on rooms, food & beverages. We hope to return.
