Helena's Studios

Mother and daughter cheap and cheerful trip away. We arrived at Helenas studios Tuesday 25th June and were greeted by Helena she was really lovely. We had a studio apartment which had one double bed and a single so suited us perfect. Air con purchased at £9 euros a day but was definitely needed and worth the money. We had apartment number 5 which was by the pool and had a lovely balcony full of plants at the back. I know people of complained of a green stain around the pool but this is just staining from the chlorine the pool was cleaned daily and was so lovely and warm. We didn't use the pool bar so can't comment on that. The grounds are lovely. Peaceful atmosphere and we found that because its a small hotel we really became friendly with a lot of other people there which was really nice. Rooms are dated but we loved this as they felt authentically Greek. Bathroom was new and modern. We loved the planes going over and going to the beach and watching them land over your head. Lots of lovely restaurants in the area to choose from. The bus stops outside the hotel on the opposite side its only 2euro's to the capital. We saw the loggerhead turtles in the bay. We would definitely go to Helena's again. Airport 5 to 10 mins transfer time.

Went as a couple we had a super time great position with restaurants near by and a couple of supermarkets the hotel is pretty basic but our room was very spacious with a balcony the rooms are serviced daily with fresh bedding and towels daily! The pool area is clean with plenty of seating

We had an amazing holiday at Helena's Studios in Svoronata, Kefalonia. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Helena herself, who was incredibly welcoming and showed us to our room. We quickly settled in and paid the local tax as well as an additional 9 euros per night for air conditioning—absolutely worth it, as the room stayed nice and cool throughout our stay. The rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed, and the daily cleaning service, including fresh towels when needed. The pool area was another highlight, offering plenty of sun loungers so that everyone could relax comfortably. We also enjoyed the on-site bar, which served a good selection of snacks. One of the best aspects of Helena's Studios is its fantastic location. Ai Helis Beach is just a short 10-minute walk away, perfect for a quick dip in the sea. There are about seven restaurants within walking distance, as well as two supermarkets, making it easy to find everything you need. If you're looking to explore further, the bus stop is conveniently located right outside the property. For just 3 euros, you can easily get to the capital, Argostoli, or even head to Costa Costa Beach for another day of sun and sand. Helena's Studios also offers car rentals, which is great if you want to explore more of this beautiful island. Overall, we highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and convenient holiday in Kefalonia.

Helena's Studios are basic greek apartments. You aren't paying for 5 star luxury so you won't receive that. Saying that, we had a really enjoyable stay. Small and friendly means that there is never a scramble for sun loungers around the pool whatever time you venture to the pool. The pool is great, the kids loved splashing about with their inflatables. The apartments themselves are basic but do the job. Air con is €9 a day. It's quiet and works well. The terrace that we had was lovely and enjoyed sitting on an evening once the children were in bed. Location is good with shops and tavernas nearby. The bus stop to Agostoli is right outside. Helena does a great job keeping the apartments clean and was even known to hang out my wet towels for me which I really appreciated. I was slightly concerned as to what we were going to experience when I was reading reviews before our arrival - no need to worry. It was absolutely fine and we had a lovely holiday.

Me and my husband arrived for our first visit to kefalonia. We arrived at Helena's around 2pm. We were shown to the new block which I highly recommend. Helena was lovely and we paid our fees for the 14 day's. We unpacked and went downstairs for a bite to eat. Ordered a salad from Marie Helena's daughter. She seemed very nervous and forced a smile. I thought it was very strange but I got what I wanted a Greek salad. We had pre ordered a car which was a godsend as we're both in our mid 60's and have joint issues. You definitely need a car here unless your avid walkers!!. We had room 30 and it was lovely. Clean and tidy with everything you need. Gorgeous sea views and a lovely table and chairs.Also a dryer on balcony with pegs which was a bonus. Double bed was perfect and we slept well with brilliant aircon. I would definitely recommend this place, pool area was lovely and great music. Not that we were around pool that much. The mother with her kittens were adorable. I absolutely loved it here and svoronata is by far one of the best places on the island. It has a lovely vibe and beaches are perfect. I dont think we'll be back because we saw a large amount and we love visiting different places. But will definitely recommend 👌.

Arrived was greated by the old lady.paid for air-conditioning and the room was basic but very clean.had a room for 4 people ,but lacked in cutlery etc 1 knife 3 forks 2 cups etc.very clean pool and all the area.all staff very polite except for the 2 that run the bar.most miserable unpleasant people you could ever meet.to much effort to serve you,as you was disturbing them.orderd 4 fries and 4 coffee, the cups were stinking dirty and the food tasted like it was from 3 weeks ago.i highly recommend 2 places to eat.come out of apartment complex turn right and first one is 2 mins walk down the road next to supermarket, and the other is another 2 mins further down the road.
