We have just returned from o trip to the Dordogne and we spent 3 nights at Chateau de Lissac. This chateau is beautifully decorated and full of charm overlooking the Lac du Casse with wonderful views. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was excellent, served at the terrace. There were a few points that may be difficult to improve, but that would be perfect if could be done. The installation of a lift (even if it is only to take the bags up and down in a hidden corner), air conditioning and improvements to the WI-fi as there was no connection in the bedrooms, only in the garden and terrace. The stairs were a killer, spiral, and uneven and anyone with mobility difficulties will not be able to stay there. However, the positive points overcome the negative ones and I would happily stay there again as we had a fabulous stay.
