Local taxi driver charged a 150 to come back over cause cause macca was asleep and stone deaf said I could get a room here anytime when arrived he I'm said I'm not really a taxi driver? got accosted by a local bloke who still owed me a fiver from years back questioned gostapo style by a bunch people some foreign manager not arrive offer ex flood room downstairs declined ask if have visa and paperwork tried to leave and offered all my camping gear and stole needed a number 1 busting called out to the boys for help and finally they came but not friendly not feel welcome no lift to Grafton maybe just round town was polite and anti Scottish

After last year's floods, we didn't know what to expect, but we're pleased to see that most of Lismore has bounced back well. Especially this motel, the lady that booked us in was lovely and showed us a plaque on the wall where the floods got up to. So, considering two floors were underwater, this motel was exceptionally well presented. I suppose the floods did have a bright side. Everything was brand new and very tastefully decorated, so anytime you need to stay in Lismore, I recommend it here because the main street is just metres away. Pubs and eating areas are just a short walk away, and the coffee shop out the front is exceptional.

The room was spotless with great facilities in the kitchen. Everything you would need to make your own meals. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at AZA Motel, Lismore as it is very close to all eateries, shops and hotels.

Check in was a breeze the hosts were extremely friendly room very clean which is number one priority for me. Centrally located so easy walk to pubs, cafes etc for a bite to eat. Security was great once your parked the only way out is through the large remote controlled roller door. Room was comfortable and decent size would stay again.
