"Rooms comfortable. Becks and breakfast is very efficient and quick also a good giggle. The evening meal well 7 o’clock sit down and probably won’t leave till 9.30. Waiting for ages for a very basic meal."

"I was traveling alone with a big luggage and was not driving and I wanted to stay near a railway station for easy commute and I chanced upon this hotel! The owner makes a delicious breakfast! He is very hospitable and he makes me feel welcome. I will also like to thank the lady who works in the restaurant. She has been so kind to give me bus numbers with timetables as I didn’t drive. I will like to stay here again if I am in the area again. The only blight is the train schedule timing is infrequent."

"Couldn’t fault it at all! Beautiful views! Cabin was clean and well kept! We popped to the bar and the landlady and landlord were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! You should expect a lot of animal poo (so don’t wear your best trainers) was amazing to wake up to the sheep and cows right on your door step! Will definitely be going back again!"

"We stayed in Beechleigh Cottage in 2023 where we had a wonderful stay but forgot to leave a review. We have just spent another two delightful weeks at Beechleigh and everything was again delightful. The cottage is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Set in a very peaceful farm location with no traffic noise and with fields all around. Sitting on the patio chairs on a sunny evening with a bottle of wine, listening to wonderful bird songs, or the occasional greetings from the neighbouring cows or distant sheep, is so wonderful and relaxing - you just cant beat it. Great walks from the doorstep and conveniently located to explore lots of Cornwall. Stephanie, Mervyn and their family are wonderful hosts and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Definately worth a 5 star rating and I am sure we will be back again in the near future."
