Diana and her team have created a home away from home atmosphere. Always friendly, providing super suggestions of things to see, do, eat, shop, etc Larger spaces than a typical hotel, with thoughtful amenities, such washer/ dryer access with detergent supplied. The location is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, it is a 5-10 minute walk to Time Out market and other points of interest and of course they have umbrellas ☔️ for guests. And super clean, always! I only wish they would disallow smoking in the courtyard, which is rarely used, but when it is, it is not possible to share the space. Hopefully they will make the change. Will return soon!

Stayed in Room 303 and I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional service. The staff were outstanding—always attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Their level of care was the highlight of our experience and elevated the overall stay. The building itself is new and stylishly decorated, offering useful amenities like a shared washer and dryer, a full kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and generous counter space. The common outdoor area is inviting—lush, green, and comfortably furnished for relaxation. Pros: Superb service; the staff made a real difference Spacious balcony Well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom Lovely outdoor seating area Cons: Room layout and amenities have limitations Balcony faces another building, so privacy is limited No full-length mirror Very firm bed and lumpy pillows Bedroom blackout curtains are too short, allowing light to come through Awkward sitting area layout: the TV faces a wall instead of the couch, making it impractical to watch from the sofa Only one bedside table, so if there are two guests, one has to use the floor for essentials Location: The hotel is in Cais do Sodré, a great spot if you’re looking to enjoy Lisbon’s nightlife. With numerous bars, live music venues, and the bustling Time Out Market nearby, it’s perfect for those interested in a lively drinking scene. However, the area lacks daytime sightseeing options, and while close to the waterfront, it’s not a beach. For exploring the old town, it’s a 20-minute walk, with Baixa, Chiado, and Príncipe Real about a 15-minute uphill trek. There’s no on-site parking, though a parking garage located a 5-minute walk away. While the service is fantastic, the room’s limitations prevent me from recommending it. For those primarily interested in nightlife, it could be a suitable choice, but if you’re seeking comfort, close to sites and a functional setup, there are better options available.

A fantastic apartment hotel. Beautifully appointed with a perfect blend of antiques and contemporary furnishings. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Stayed two nights at the beginning of our trip and will stay another at the end of our trip. Great location. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended apartment in handy spot. The internal apartments with courtyard garden view are a haven. After a dodgy apartment in Porto we were worried 54 Sao Paolo in Lisbon might be similar. No comparison. From the warm welcome (the staff were simply lovely) to the spotless airy apartment with its modern kitchen and bathrooms and lovely old pieces of furniture with very comfy beds to the tasty breakfast served in the apartment, free use of Wi-Fi, laundry room, we were so relaxed and felt like valued guests. Would have no hestitation in recommending to all.

Trendy suites of a very high standard with excellent customer care bestowed upon us by Ana, who checked us in, and Beata at the Front Desk. Nothing was too much for them. What a lovely way to end our stay in Portugal carrying back happy memories with us. Many thanks!
