Hotel Reutiner Hof

Don’t book this hotel. The first first thing we saw on the landing in front of the door to our room was a cockroach. The bathroom had broken floor tiles, but looked as if had been cleaned. The quilt covers were not new and not ironed. The mattress sheet had two yellow stains, which could only be one thing. we went down to reception and the lady apologised and said the sheets had been cleaned despite us showing her the stain. We were given a second room and it looked slightly better. That was until I turned over pillow and found the pillow case on the bottom was coloured completely yellow by obvious sweat stains. Although we had no alternative accomadation we accepted the hotel’s offer of a full refund. The owner should seriously consider buying new bed linen, instead of telling his staff that “they are only stains”. RANCID !
