When we planned our trip to France, we did not find a lot of options near Giverny compared to other places we were going to visit, so we finally settled on this one - with expectations that it was only a couple of nights, and it would be just fine. However, when we arrived, we were delightfully surprised by this small B&B. We stayed in a perfectly maintained cottage with two bedrooms and a nice bathroom with a very nice, large shower. Less than 10 feet outside our window, the Epte river rushes past. The very large yard is meticulously groomed. Veronique is apparently a tireless garner. Several of her many gardens were coming to life during our mid April visit and I truly could not have imagined a more charming location to begin our visit to France. There must have been a dozen seating areas in various places around the yard. The breakfast was both delicious and generous, and Veronique was an excellent host. She was available for any questions and thankfully her English was much better than our French. Finally, the property is perhaps a kilometer or so from Monet’s gardens and home. So you are just minutes away, but not subject to ANY of the crush of people visiting there. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to this area. The value was excellent for the price.
