Beste Hotels mit Bar in Limerick

Ich habe hier übernachtet, weil mein Partner seinen 50. Geburtstag in der Stadt feierte, und als Belohnung habe ich dieses schöne große Hotelzimmer gebucht. Am nächsten Morgen wachte ich mit Stichen an meinem Bein auf, wasche mir das Bein und dachte nicht weiter daran, bis weitere Stiche an meinem Körper auftauchten! Als ich zu meinem Hausarzt ging, weil ich wegen des Juckens und der Hitze nicht schlafen konnte, wurde bestätigt, dass es sich um BETTWANZEN handelte! Ich rief dreimal im Hotel an und sprach mit drei verschiedenen Leuten, mir wurde gesagt, dass sie Kammerjäger ins Zimmer schicken würden, und ich bekam nicht einen einzigen Anruf von einem Manager, der mich nach meiner Erfahrung fragte ... Ich schickte dem Hotel auch eine E-Mail und Fotos, aber keine Antwort!!! Es ist 4 Wochen her, seit ich hier übernachtet habe, und zu sagen, dass ich von meiner Erfahrung enttäuscht bin, wäre eine Untertreibung.

Sehr zentral gelegenes, aber ruhiges Hotel . 5 min zu Fuss in die Innenstadt. Freie Parkplätze in Tiefgarage (nicht zu reservieren, first come, first served Basis). Grosse Zimmer (wenn möglich Flussblick vereinbaren), sehr schönes Badezimmer (groß, sehr gute Dusche, gute Pflegeprodukte). Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Bett, Nespressemaschine und Wasserkocher. Minimanko : zum Flur etwas hellhörig, man hört, wenn die schweren Zimmertüren ins Schloss fallen oder sich Gäste unterhalten Frühstück mit 14,50 Euro sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Grosse Auswahl am Buffet, dazu kann man verschiedene warme Gerichte (u.a. Omelette, Spiegelei, Baked Beans, French Toast) frisch zubereitet à la carte bestellen.

Wir blieben für eine Nacht. Es gab sehr laute Nachbarn, die wirklich laute Musik hörten. Die Rezeption musste zweimal anrufen, bis sie das Problem gelöst haben. Kinda ruinierte unsere Erfahrung. Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel, aber ein bisschen Renovierung brauchte.

Stayed here with my daughter who was competing in sports trials in UL the following day. Could not sleep because of music coming from function room that was so loud you could hear it over the tv. The first time I rang reception I was told it would be finished by 11pm. At 11 30 I rang again and was told it would be going until 2am and there was nothing they could do about it, the room shouldn't have been allocated but there was no other room to move us to. This was my 3rd time staying in this hotel for UL events but never again. Would not recommend especially if god forbid you actuatlly expect to sleep.

My friend and I brought our mums on a hotel break, as I live in Dublin and all other 3 in West Galway we chose Limerick as the destination. We had a fabulous night in No 1 Pery Square- parked with ease, greeted warmly by lovely staff, we stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was ideal as we had two large comfortable rooms, a shared bathroom and a lovely sitting area. The rooftop city views are very unique and although you are very much city centre you tend to forget as you soak up the hotel’s opulence. We had a lovely drink in the hotel bar before accepting the receptionists recommendation for dinner (the hotel do not offer evening dining as such except light bites- we had a beautiful meal in a restaurant beside the river and returned to the hotel bar for a nightcap. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the Shannon pre breakfast - which was delicious and the hotel is only a short walk from the city too so we even managed an hour in Brown Thomas It was a most enjoyable night and we would all love to have had longer there

I arrived in Limerick early - around noon. This was the first leg of my road trip of Ireland. On the off-chance, went up to the delightful receptionist to ask if there was any way I could get early check in or store my suitcase somewhere. With a nod and a smile she responded ”no problem - your room is ready now and we have upgraded you to a lovely room”. I mean, win-win at this point. Was offered help with luggage but declined - though offer still a nice touch. Went up to the room and it was simply amazing. As a regular solo-traveller, I am all to often chucked into the tiniest rooms. This was fit for a king. I couldn't believe my luck. I felt like a celebrity! Don't know what I did to deserve this - maybe just pot luck?! Parked the car across the road above Dunnes (you get discounted parking there). Came back and just had to thank the receptionist for the lovely room. She was an absolute delight to talk to - ever so friendly. Was shown the bar (I needed a drink as the roads in Lim are mental, like!). The room was exactly like the pictures. Super clean, smell gorgeous, well decorated, modern but elegant. Lovely toiletries. Nespresso coffee maker. Plenty of free drinking water. Corridors and the rest of the hotel equally immaculate and smell beautiful. The Savoy, for me at least, ticks every box and gets things right. A classy, elegant hotel but not snotty and exclusive. It's tricky to strike that balance. I like somewhere nice to stay whilst not being looked down upon. Great location too - slap bang in the middle of town - lots of shops and attractions nearby. Thank You Savoy and your staff. It helped make my Irish road trip an unforgettable, enjoyable memory. So much so, I am doing it again next year and will see you again soon!

This was my mom’s favorite of the three hotels we stayed at. We had a double/twin room. It was roomy with space to unpack. Bathroom had good counter space. My mom loved the feature where you put your room key in to activate the lights. Very long deep tub which can be an issue with older people. It’s a very high step to get in and out of, but appreciated it included a non slip shower mat for the tub. Bed was comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and hotel beds are notoriously hard on a side sleeper, but this one was pretty decent. Staff was very nice. Breakfast buffet was good. They had streaky bacon instead of rashers. That didn’t bother me just wanted to note it. Dinner was good. Great burger. Serving staff were super nice. We loved them. Located outside the Limerick City center but in a public transit line and about €15 euro into the city if you choose a taxi.

Der erst Eindruck war sehr gut, da man im Parkhaus neben an vergünstigt als Hotelgast parken kann. Muss man aber allerdings am Empfang angeben. Der Mitarbeiter Lawrence am Empfang war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit, hat uns den Empfang sehr leicht gemacht. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, jedoch war durch den umliegenden Verkehr sehr laut, war also schwer zu ruhe zu kommen, vor allem wenn man mit offenen Fenster schlafen möchte. Der große Minuspunkt geht aber allerdings an das Frühstück. Diese wird a la cart serviert, ist ja auch nicht schlimm, aber es war halt auch nicht alles auf der Karte verfügbar, weshalb sich dann die Frage stellt, warum man es dann auf die Karte schreibt?! Das Personal am Frühstücksbufett schien auch nicht sehr motiviert, ein freundliches Lächeln war dort bei keinem zu erkennen. Das bestellte Menü wir ein dann auch noch ziemlich unliebsam serviert, sprich Tassen und Co auf den Tisch gepfiffen. Also würden wir empfehlen dort das Zimmer ohne Frühstück zu buchen und wenn möglich nicht zur Hauptstraße 🌚.

We've just held our wedding at the Greenhills Hotel and we are absolutely delighted with the high level of care, service and attention that we've experienced. From our initial booking with the general manager Daphne Greene 2 years ago, and the number of planning visits that we've had with the lovely events manager Natasha Grew, we were always made to feel welcome, and no question or request was a hassle for them, absolutely top people to deal with. Everything from the decoration of the reception rooms, to the tasty food and excellent attentive staff was amazing. Myself and the woman I'm now happy to call my wife have no hesitation in recommending the Greenhills Hotel, and their amazing management and staff to look after you for your big day, or even just a stay or a bite to eat. Massive thank you to all of you for making our day very special xxxx.

Dieses Hotel war sehr schön. Komfortable und sauber. Frühstück war nicht groß. Keine Auswahl an Obst oder Sorten. Abendessen war ok, da wir in einer Gruppe waren und es war eine Auswahl an Hühnern, Fischen oder Vegetaristen. Große Lage am Fluss mit einem Lounge-Balkon-Wanderweg, der eine Kreuzfahrtschiffe repliziert. Ein schöner Bereich zu sitzen und einen Drink. Moderne Vibe zum Hotel.
