This was my fifth time in Lima and first time staying at this hotel. Around 24km from the airport (around 40 min) and walking distance to the main a lot of shops, restaurants and bars in the Miraflores neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a very basic and small gym. They offer a very complete breakfast, there are several food options and the staff was always very attentive. I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Lima and I would recommend it if you are ever there.

Zeer goede ligging , vlakbij Miraflores en Park Del Amor. Wij hadden een grote kamer op het 4 de verdiep en dat was best hoog want er is geen lift. Kamer is netjes. Doucheknop helemaal naar links draaien . Kleine waterstraal. Hotel is gehorig maar dat heb je in alle hotels in Peru. Ontbijt is pistolet met ei en confituur, fruitsap en koffie. Eten doe je in de kelder en is niet wauw.

AWFUL Hotel LUN entfernt von diesem Ort. Wir kamen um 2 Uhr und hatten keine Wahl, nur die erste Nacht zu bleiben wegen der späten Zeit, aber wir verließen unverzüglich am Morgen. Zum Anfang, die Zimmer und Einrichtungen sind DIRT und sehen nichts wie die Fotos aus. Das Teppich wandte meine 2 Jahre alten Hände, Füße und Knie schwarz und wandte meine Füße schwarz mit Staub, Schmutz und Haar. Das Zimmer ist dunkel, veraltet, und die Wände und das Teppich ist eine ganz andere Farbe. Der Pool ist ein Witz. Das “Gymnasium” war nicht einmal offen und es war 1 Maschine trotzdem. Das Zimmer ist so schmutzig und riecht wie ein Schlamm. Die Blätter riechen wie schmutzig fette Haare und es gab Stücke von männlichen und weiblichen Haaren im Bett und im Badezimmer gab es schmutzig verwendete Raser. Das Frühstück war naiv und das Personal war sehr freundlich zu uns. Besonders während einer Pandemie sollten sie nicht ein schmutziges Zimmer an Leute verkaufen, die viel Geld bezahlt haben.. Dieser Ort sollte geschlossen werden.

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.
