The hotel close to the north entrance of old town. Room is spacious and comfortable. They offered a great afternoon tea when we arrived. You can get a panoramic view from the rooftop deck. Sadly due to the rainy weather, we could not see the Jade Dragon mountain.

Location is good and close to amenities. Service staff was hospitalable and polite. There were some issues with one room but hotel staff was willing to help switch to a bigger room (with patio) at a nominal fee. Guests were provided a free welcome afternoon tea for each room which was a nice gesture. Cafe latte was really good at an affordable price and the cafe owner was friendly and nice. Overall experience was good and pleasant.

Service by the team was superb! They were helpful and would respond almost immediately when we texted them. Place was beautiful and clean as well!

This was our first stay in Yunnan, and we didn’t expect there to be no lift — we were placed on the 4th floor, and with Lijiang’s high elevation, the climb was no joke. Thankfully, the staff helped carry our luggage up, which we really appreciated! The room was generally clean, though the bathtub and parts of the wall showed some wear with peeling paint. On the bright side, the location is pretty central and easy to reach by Didi, and their rooftop coffee bar has a lovely view. All in all, it was still a pleasant stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel. The location is not only beautiful but also perfectly convenient for exploring Lijiang Old Town. What makes the experience truly special is the kindness and generosity of the hosts, who welcome you with such warmth that you immediately feel part of the family. Despite the language barrier, communication was never an issue: with their patience, translation apps, and WeChat, everything worked seamlessly, allowing us to arrange wonderful excursions as well. A place we would wholeheartedly recommend

We had an unforgettable stay at Nell Hefengting Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from Mo Chen. Even before we arrived, he was already assisting us and continued to go above and beyond until the moment we left. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. Our room was on the fourth floor, accessible by stairs, and it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Mo Chen even carried our luggage up without hesitation. Anytime we had questions or needed assistance, he didn’t just reply to our messages—he would come up personally to help. His warmth and dedication were truly remarkable. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient. We are from Singapore and were pleased to find that halal food options were available nearby, making it easy for us to enjoy our meals. The hotel is also close to all the main attractions in Lijiang, making it easy to explore the area on foot. After a long walk, we returned to the hotel, and my wife, who wasn’t feeling well, was coughing. Mo Chen noticed and offered to make us Pu’er tea, which was unlimited and such a thoughtful gesture. His service is simply unmatched. Mo Chen made our stay incredibly special, and he is one of our best memories of Lijiang. We would return to this hotel not only for its cleanliness and convenient location but also for the exceptional service he provided. Truly one-of-a-kind!
