Meine Mutter und ich nahmen ein Hotel Swindon des Jury für einen kurzen zweitägigen Aufenthalt für eine Konferenz ein. Aufgrund einer medizinischen Notlage und dann, wenn wir beide krank waren, wurde unser zweitägiger Aufenthalt zu einem siebentägigen Aufenthalt. Die Jury wurde unser Zuhause weg von zu Hause und konnte nicht besser sein. Die Mitarbeiter waren angesichts unserer bedauerlichen Situation sehr unterstützend und freundlich. Ich habe niemandens Namen gefangen, aber ich wollte mich besonders bei zwei Mitarbeitern bedanken, die mir bei meiner Mutter geholfen haben, als sie sehr krank war und ins Notfallzimmer ging. Die beiden Damen gingen über und über ihre üblichen Arbeitsaufgaben ohne Zweifel. Ich schulde ihnen eine gewaltige Dankbarkeit und ich hoffe, ihre Aufsichtsbehörden erkennen das erstaunliche Personal, das sie so glücklich haben. Unser Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und hatte einen großen Blick auf Swindon, die eine charmante Stadt ist. Besonders alte Stadt Swindon, gerade auf der Straße vom Hotel. Es ist zentral auf vielen großen Buslinien gelegen und ist kurzen Spaziergang vom Busstation. Das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut lecker, wie jeder Mahlzeit vom Restaurant. Meine einzige Beschwerde ist, dass das Zimmer nicht mit einem Mini-Kühlschrank oder Mikrowelle ausgestattet war, was für uns sehr bequem gewesen wäre, aber wir konnten nur fein essen zwischen den verfügbaren Lebensmittelzustellungen und dem Hotelrestaurant. Ich wünsche mir, dass jedes Hotel Jury's Inn Swindon Caliber war. Gut gemacht. 👏

Wir brauchten eine Übernachtung, um unsere Reise auf der M4 zu unterbrechen. Das war ideal. Schnell, freundliche Eincheckung mit heißem Frühstück vorbestellt. Zimmer und Bett OK für das, was wir bezahlt (aber hätten zwei Kuchen und mehr Teebeutel gefallen.) Bad war unspottlich sauber und die Dusche gut, obwohl es keine Griff über das Bad. Frühstücksbuffet war gut gelagert und warmes Frühstück schön gekocht. Großer, gut beleuchteter Parkplatz mit CCTV. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder benutzen.

Das Hotel war nur ein bisschen alt, das Bad mit schlechtem Duschedruck veraltet war. Und wir haben dieses Hotel nur wegen des Klimaanlages an erster Stelle gewählt und es funktionierte gut. Es gab einen großen Park außerhalb des Hotels und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich.

Wir hatten einen Aufenthalt in Swindon, damit wir für den Geburtstag meiner Frau nach Stonehenge reisen können. Ich bat das Hotel vorab, etwas zu tun, um die Gelegenheit zu markieren, was sie sehr gut gemacht haben. Als wir angemeldet waren, hatte das Zimmer Ballons und glückliche Geburtstagsnachrichten rund um das Zimmer. Eine andere Sache, die mich beeindruckte, war das Frühstück. Ich war gerade zum Zeitpunkt des Schreibens dieses Reviews zu einem Premier Inn Hotel in London zu Geschäftsreisen. Während Premier Inn etwas mehr Vielfalt in ihren Frühstücksmahlzeiten bietet, ist die Qualität der Lebensmittel in diesem Holiday Inn Express außergewöhnlich, leichte Jahre vor Premier Inn. Wir blieben hier für ein Wochenende. Die erste Begrüßung von Ash bei der Ankunft war wunderschön - warm und freundlich. Wir hatten Zimmer 3 das ist ein kleines Doppelzimmer mit en suite. Es ist gut eingerichtet mit 2 Stühlen und einem vernünftigen Blick auf eine grassige offene Bank. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und eingerichtet. Gute Qualität Tee/Kaffee im Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind vom Hauptgebäude so schön und ruhig, abgesehen von anderen Gästen entfernt. Das gesamte englische Frühstück war wunderschön - gut gekocht und ein toller Anfang zum Tag. Auch großartig Kaffee. Kleiner Nebeneffekt - keine Getreide-/Frucht-/Yoghurt-Optionen, obwohl Granola oder Krispie auf Anfrage verfügbar waren. Obwohl wir nicht gegessen haben, denke ich, es wäre eine tolle Erfahrung gewesen. Ich habe einen Pudding bei der Ankunft am ersten Abend - Rhubarb und Cusard. Sei nicht dumm mit dem Namen. Es war eine Schaumkonfektion, versteckt in einer glatt geschliffenen Schale und schön mit italienischer Meringe dekoriert. Es war glorreich! Am Abend sind die Himmel umgeben sehr dunkel mit wenig Lichtverschmutzung so schöne Aussichten auf die Sterne und die Milchwege. Dienst war manchmal etwas langsam, aber Ash arbeitet lange Stunden und ist immer bereit, zu helfen.

Das Hotel ist sehr beeindruckt und der einzige Grund, warum ich es nicht 5 von 5 gab, wäre der Mangel an Organisation während unseres Abendessens. Es scheint niemand zu sein, der für den Abendessen Service verantwortlich oder überwacht. Zwei Trainer wurden gleichzeitig in den Speiseraum eingeschaltet und für Nahrungsmittel schrecklich, was zu langen Kuchen und Stauungen führt. Normalerweise sind Trainer gestaffelt, was jedem helfen wird. Das Zimmer war wirklich schön, obwohl es 2 Stühle im Zimmer gefallen hätte, da es viel Platz für ihn gab, Nicht sicher, warum Hilton Hotels ihre Barpersonal nicht lernen, den Kunden nicht zu sagen, wie viel ihre Getränke sind, Aber nur die Kartenmaschine produzieren, ohne die Kosten sogar zu zeigen und auch darauf bestehen, nur eine Person hinter der Bar zu haben (insbesondere wenn sie wirklich langsam sind). Dies ist eine große Entscheidung für die Beschäftigten der langsamen Bar, die nur hinter der Bar stehen, und nicht dem Kunden sagen, wie viel ihre Getränke kosten. Andernfalls, wirklich schöne Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, sehr bequeme Lage am Autobahn und würde definitiv zur Liste der Stellen für Personal für eine Ausreise hinzufügen.

Unser Vintage-Autoclub hat am vergangenen Wochenende am AGM-Wochenende stattgefunden. Es gab etwa 20 Autos und ihre Besitzer, die meisten davon 2 oder 3 Nächte dort verbrachten. Die Grundstücke und die Lage sind außergewöhnlich und jeder, den ich sprach, stimmte zu, dass die Zimmer geräumig, sauber und komfortabel waren. Unser jährliches Abendessen war ausgezeichnet, geschmackvoll und vielfältig gepflegt alle in zeitnaher Weise. Das Essen aus der Bar und dem Restaurant war auch sehr gut - schmecklich und gut vorgestellt. Das Personal ohne Ausnahme hat uns sehr willkommen gemacht und konnte nicht genug tun, um uns zu helfen und zu servieren, obwohl es sehr bemüht war mit mehreren anderen Veranstaltungen am Wochenende. Ich empfehle dieses schöne Hotel mit Schwimmbad, Fitness und Spa, nicht zu erwähnen Tennisplatz, Fußballplatz und hervorragende Kinderspielplatz.
