Panselinos Hotel

"My friend and I stayed here mid September. Lots of positives and a couple of negatives. First negative, on arrival at about 11pm, our room had a double bed rather than the two singles I had booked. The receptionist seemed quite put out about our request for this to be rectified and said she had waited for our arrival an hour past her shift, despite the fact we were on time. This did see to colour her attitude to us. The bed got converted into two singles the next day by the helpful cleaners after the older lady on reception told the receptionist it could be done. Anyway, had a lovely room which was one of the newly renovated ones. It was very clean and modern whilst the rest of the hotel still had that wonderful authentic Greek style. It is quite isolated though and the nearest decent beach is a 15 walk away (turn right as you leave) opposite a hotel complex and we used their beach sun beds for free and bought lunch and drinks. We used the hotel mini bus to go into Molyvos to use the beach there a few times, not great beaches (take your water shoes for most of the beaches) and we got a taxi to the beach at Anoxos and the little train back. Caught the 10.10 minibus to Molyvos and the 2.30 one back otherwise it’s 7.30 return which just doesn’t work. A taxi is 8 euro. We went into Molyvos for 6/7 evenings and had wonderful meals there at a different taverna every time. Molyvos is just wonderful, unspoilt, uncommercialised, Greece as you want it if you love Greece. We only ate one evening meal at the hotel and it was awful, poor communication about no rice left and then cold roast vegetables which were not actually roasted, was a stew with indistinguishable veggies. On telling the waiter the food was cold he commendably got it heated but it tasted awful. Another waitress asked how our meal was and so I told her, this prompted the chef to come out who said ‘no one died’. I wasn’t sure if this was his idea of humour, don’t think so, but his attitude was poor. Had a great Greek salad there one lunchtime and breakfast was ok, plentiful."

"Yet another fantastic stay at our favourite Greek accommodation. From the moment we arrived until the lovely send off we were treated to great hospitality, lovely food and relaxed vibes with likeminded visitors from the UK, Holland and Greece. The breakfast is buffet style with a variety of snacks available at lunchtime with all your Greek favourites available in the evening. The maids do a fantastic job cleaning the rooms plus towels and sheets are changed regularly. The location is ideal if you like walking as it’s a short stroll into the village through the olive groves. Thanks again for a great stay."

"Very simple, low key vacation. Disappointed from the difference in reality and pictures ( wrong expectations) Nothing organized as activity, only the poolside and without a car is difficult to go around. I had a car, drove miles , but not thing too exiting . The weather was perfect , 25-28c in early October, nearby villages to visit and explore. "

"The rooms are beautiful, the bathrooms look good, renovated (except for the sanitary ware), the location is special. The beach is gorgeous, large, fine sand, very sparsely populated, the entrance to the sea is extremely gentle, the water is clean, clear, there are no waves. The only negative aspect is the restaurant. I find it unacceptable that a restaurant located on the seashore does not have fish on the menu. They served fish once a week. We had half board. There is a difference (both in quantity and quality) between the same dish served at lunch, when we paid, and served at dinner, on the half board account (although the price of dinner was included in the accommodation price, it's not like we didn't pay for it!). Breakfast was identical every morning, but we managed. On the other hand, many compliments for Magda, who serves breakfast and lunch and who is fantastic!"

"Ein ruhiges Hotel, das gut war, wir nahmen die Geschwindigkeit auf 100 Bit, wir nahmen die Geschwindigkeit ab, er rief uns zum Frühstück an, wir haben Salat-Tomaten-Weißkäse gegessen. Es gibt keine Wahl, es gibt keine Erwartung wie ein offener Buffet, aber beim Frühstück gibt es Omelete, Eier, Brot, Rebstöcke. Es gibt Schalenthee. Es gibt in der Regel Kaffee in den Morgenfiltern. Es ist sehr gut für uns, dass es spezielle Rohre in dem Zimmer gibt. Es gibt nicht viele Hotels. Es gibt nur keine Kasse in dem Zimmer. Das Hotel ist ruhig und ruhig. Das Hotel und die Umgebung ist alles, was zu tun ist, in die Pirgi Taverne zu gehen. Wir haben es gern bevorzugt, dass das Hotel in der Nähe ist und dass es sich in der Nähe des Zentrums befindet. Mangel im Zimmer, die Schale im Zimmer arbeitete, aber es war möglich, aus dem Außenbereich zu sehen. Das ist schlimm, wenn man sich aus dem Spiegel bequem ansieht, das Zimmer auf dem Boden ist aus dem Außenbereich, das in dem Badezimmer ist sehr bequem, das Glas ist sehr bequem, es ist vorsichtig, wir haben uns nicht sehr sicher gefühlt. Wir haben ein Handtuch für das Bad geplatzt, und ich kann sagen, wir haben einen Kissen zwischen dem Gewürz gelegt, um zu sehen, ob wir nicht sehen."

"Wir blieben in Heliotrope für zwei Nächte Mitte November, alles war ausgezeichnet, das Zimmer war sauber, sehr komfortabel für drei Personen und genau wie in den Bildern. Mit zwei Fernsehsendern, mit Küchen und im Zentrum, in der Nähe der Geschäfte und der Einkaufsstraße, aber das Hauptsache war, sein Volk zu dienen, ihre gute Stimmung und ihre Bereitschaft. Wir trafen Maria in der Rezeption, die uns hilfreich war und alles mit Details über die Stadt und die Insel aus dem ersten Augenblick erläuterte. Maria, danke für alle ... immer gesund, guter Geschäfts- und guter Winter ... Wir würden wieder und nur dort bleiben ... Stella, Vibe, Maria. "
