This hotel is so near to very good. There are fixed things such as the small rooms and tiny shower cubicles which are a given. The rest of it though, with some management presence could be fantastic. We found the dining room and food to be fine..we were never hungry..but the refilling of dishes/display cooking etc was a bit hit and miss. No rhyme nor reason as to when it would be done. Our advice would to sit and wait a few minutes…or ask…eventually it will come. The location is brilliant and despite what other reviews have said, we actually enjoyed sitting in the large chairs in reception - the entertainment in the bar wasn’t for us but many people enjoyed it. The boot room was fine…it wasn’t vastly different from the majority…not enough seats and a bit smelly - again, time it right and it’s fine. Overall this hotel was good value for money. We wouldn’t rule out returning.

This hotel is rather tired and won't be winning design awards any time soon. Based on my recent stay however, the Neige et Ciel is very well positioned, the food was good quality and plentiful and the rooms are functional if on the small side. The accomodation is very popular with older people and french families so don't expect apres ski atmosphere, this is compounded by the basement hotel bar having all the charm as the corner of a multi-story car park strung with fairy lights. If you are seeking a good value, quiet, well positioned but no frills hotel then I would happily recommend. Much better than earlier reviews suggested.

Basic low-budget hotel for families. Important to manage expectations. Rooms ok but bring your own stuff starting from soap and toilet paper as the hotel has no essentials provided. Pros: - ski-in. Good! Not really ski-out but almost. - evening programme at hotel sympathetic and suitable for smaller kids. - Family room with separate bedrooms calm and good to sleep in. This is a big plus. - hotel staff (outside kitchen) friendly Cons: - food. We had half board but ended up having dinner outside the hotel most nights. Has not happened many times if ever at the Alps. Breakfast not great, and hygiene could be better. No coffee except for very small amounts and a long waiting time resulting in max one cup of what can be best described as coloured water. Not enough plates. Prepare for aggressive queues for crumbs of old food. - rooms not cleaned during the week, trash not taken out, no clean towels, one roll of toilet paper for the week. There is no hairdryer in the room not to mention any exclusivities such as slippers or bath mats or coffee machines. Luckily, there was a fridge in the room so we could buy some food to be able to avoid the hotel breakfast. This was an experience that we will not repeat.

This is a very basic hotel. The rooms have comfortable beds and the two bedroom apartments are a good size but the bathroom was very dirty and had dust, dirt and someone’s false eyelashes attached to the bath on our arrival. I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned 3 times and it was never done. The staff were on the verge of rude all week, unhelpful and arrogant. It appeared to be a young team working in the hotel and this showed in the way they managed the guests and their responses to requests. There were a few amazing members of staff in the restaurant and in-particular the ski equipment staff… they were just brilliant! The equipment was in really good condition. Lockers were provided and a good size. The boot room was very cramped but did the job. No boot warmers but I did read that you can ask for your boots to be warmed overnight. No one told us this so I didn’t find out until we got home! We did find the food good all week if a little random at times. Fresh salads and bread every day with lots of choice in mains. Be careful of the chef cooking certain mains. He cooked frozen burgers one evening and gave them out but they were still frozen in the middle. There was wine and water provided and we always had enough. It is a free for all so go prepared to search for plates, cutlery, cups and be ready to stand waiting for extra food to be brought out. That being said I do think it was adequate. The New Year’s Eve dinner was very good. Go to the 8pm service if you want a slightly calmer dinner. The entertainment was annoying as there was no provision for other nationality guests at all. This isnt really their problem as we are in a French hotel but it meant it was hard to join into anything. The young kids loved it and that’s all that matters. Sit upstairs in reception if you want a beer in peace. To sum up… pros: great price, comfy beds, good ski equipment, reasonable food. Cons: cleanliness, rude staff, basic outdated rooms and service. We would not return even for the good price!

Ok so location is excellent, having driven over from the UK parking is brilliant ( not all hotels have parking here ) however they are punching a little bit above their weight to be honest. Rooms are acceptable however roasting hot ( even after we asked reception to switch our radiator off and very tired. Mattress is 4 inch of foam onto a hard board base- not great fir tired ski hips and so, so glad we bought our own pillows as the “One” they provide is less than great. No daily service to the room either. Restaurant is ok considering the volume of covers, however the concept of “hot” food has been lost. My breakfast this morning consisted of cold scrambled eggs, seriously cold baked beans and tepid bacon, evening meals on the 1st service seating are surprisingly “warm” not “hot” too. On the plus side the salad’s are nice with plenty of choice. Management are evidently trying to increase profits by reducing staff coverage. If your reading this we are not booking again-do the math on lost return bookings V’s a couple of extra staff in the restaurant The Boot and Ski locker room is a disaster, so small and cramped with virtually no benches and “hot” too. Everyone in there is togged up to the nines and its 25 deg in there. The boot hooks are not vented to dry your boots either. Let’s just say tensions run high in there when everyone is trying to get sorted both in the mornings and in the evenings. That’s all I have to say at the mid-point of our holibobs. Maybe more to come

1 Rotten frames with single glazed windows that were icey on the inside. No heating the first night in temperatures of -9 degrees. Went to reception multiple times to ask for a plug in heater and extra bedding as the whole hotel was cold and the temperatures outside were freezing. It took at least 12 visits to reception, multiple messages to the hotel and ******* to intervene before we eventually received extra bedding four days later. If there had been availability at another hotel for the duration of our 8 night stay then we would have checked out and move, but unfortunately there wasn’t and due to heavy snow our car wasn’t safe to drive as we saw multiple vechicles stuck when trying to move in the hotel carpark. Food served in the restaurant was nice but the plates were cold. They were stacked in plate warmers that were not turned on. This property is listed as 3 star on ******* but not on their own website and it isn't 3 star. There is no room service or daily housekeeping which it also states on *******. Heating is centrally controlled with small radiators in the rooms that are blocked by furniture. There is no radiator in the bathroom to dry towels or ski clothing. I feel extremely let down by the customer service within the hotel and also with ******* for falsely advertising the facilitates at this hotels which doesn’t look as if the rooms have been touched in decades. The walls, skirting and flooring are all very marked and look unclean.

Dear Belambra Club Management, I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Benjamin, the bartender at your esteemed club, during my recent stay at Belambra Neige et Ciel. Benjamin’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly elevated my experience. His ability to provide excellent recommendations, craft impeccable drinks, and create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar was remarkable. He not only served beverages but also fostered meaningful interactions that made evenings at the bar a highlight of my visit. It is rare to encounter such dedication and genuine passion for one’s work, and I wanted to ensure that his efforts are recognized. I had a very happy time staying here. Two terrible reviews were posted the week before I flew out, so I was a bit scared! But I had a brilliant time and would love to return. It's a great hotel, with a lovely atmosphere. Lots of comfy chairs and space for relaxing in the reception area, also plenty more space down in the bar and out on the sundeck. A variety of entertainment in the evenings - shows, singers, a casino night, karaoke. Ski boot room worked well - being given a locker with a combination code was straight-forward. The hotel has its own equipment hire place down in the boot room and the staff are so friendly, especially Sebastian. Unfortunately I had already pre-hired my equipment because I booked with Crystal and had to go into town to get it, I really wish I had not pre-hired and been able to get it at the hotel as that would have been much more convenient, and the staff were so friendly I was disappointed not to give them my business. People have written in reviews that you can't heat your boots, but the ski hire place has boot warmers behind the counter and offered this service to me for free, so anyone worrying about that, just ask Sebastian and co and they will warm your boots overnight. Very happy with the food. Was quite worried after reading reviews, but I easily found a table every night, and there were always enough plates and cutlery, all of which were clean. Food was always a good temperature and the microwave although I didn't need to use it was also clean (checked several times because of what a previous reviewer wrote about it!) I really liked the buffet set up and there was plenty to choose from, a good variety of starters, mains and desserts and lots of lovely cheese to feast on at the end. Plus unlimited access to water and wine. Staff were really friendly. Helpful on reception when needed. Nice to be greeted on arrival to the dining room each evening and then bid goodnight at the end. Chefs were friendly and the waiters and waitresses cleared the tables efficiently and unobtrusively. Location was great. Just a short walk out of the boot room and up to the slopes. The ski pass shop is there, plus up-to-date information boards. The Menuires chairlift is the closest to the hotel and from there it's easy to go off in whatever direction you wish. Piste maps available at reception. Short walk into town to visit shops and supermarket. Les Menuires is on different levels, the hotel is at La Croisette which seems to be a pretty main area. You can get a lift down to an area called Preyerand and another lift up to Brelin. You don't need to do this because everything you need is already at the La Croisette level. But the lifts are not far from the hotel and it's a fun, novel thing to do if you want to explore. You can fill your water bottles up for free at a water cooler on the reception floor. Someone wrote about the rooms being cramped - I was lucky to be a solo person in a triple room so I was fine. I did thin
