"Dieses Hotel, das sich als 4* darstellt und von DERTOUR angeboten wird, kann voll empfohlen werden. Wir können grundsätzlich nicht mit einigen Bewertungen übereinstimmen, dass die gastronomischen Dienstleistungen nicht standardmäßig sind. Das Essen ist reichlich und variiert leicht über den Aufenthalt. Das Menü wird in Form eines Buffets implementiert und jeder kann hier nach Geschmack in jeder Menge wählen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Die Kritik an dem Mangel an Cutlery, Glaswaren und China ist auch nicht wahr. Von Getränken gibt es Jugos von weißem und rotem Wein, Bierbecher, eine Barrel von Wasser, Cola und Orangensaft, und Kaffee zum Frühstück. Für einige kann es eine Schule Café erwähnen, aber sie haben wahrscheinlich nie die echte Erfahrung erlebt. Es ist eine weiche all inclusive und daher nur bestimmte Getränke wie Bier, Wein und weiche Getränke sind in den Preis enthalten. Die Unterkunft ist modern mit einem Standard-Hotelstil ausgestattete Zimmer mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank, Safe, Kessel, Haartrockner und einem Bad im Badezimmer, das in 4* Hotels in der Tschechischen Republik nicht üblich ist. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen eigenen Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Das einzige kleine Problem ist der Zugang zum Hotel, da es auf einem Hügel liegt, der der Bus nach der Fahrt nicht mehr bedienen kann und daher auf der Straße etwa 100 m unter dem Hotel hält. Die meisten Hotels und Bungalows hier sind in den Hügeln. Die Insel ist ziemlich Berg, so dass die Beschränkung des Zugangs zur Rezeption zu erwarten ist. Der Strand ist hier klein mit nur zwei Reihen von Schatten und Sonnenbäden (sie sind frei oder für einen Frappé), aber es ist nicht voll besetzt und das Meer ... erstaunlich ...."

"This was our second time staying at Lemnos with Mark Warner and the reason we returned for a second time was how great the first stay was. Unfortunately our recent stay didn't live up to the first visit two years prior. It was glaringly obvious from the moment we arrived that they were short staffed and we were told at the introductions that because of this some of the activities that were advertised as part of the holiday would no longer be on offer. We were told on several occasions by the staff to "bear with us" as they informed us of missing staff or cancelled activities. Activities that were slimmed down or cancelled included; tennis lessons, limited cycling tours, all introductory water front activities. As a family with little sailing experience we were hoping to get up and running with the introductions and initial lessons that were on offer the previous time we stayed as we didn't feel comfortable just jumping in a boat and figuring it out, especially with challenging wind conditions on the first few days. Part of the appeal of a Mark Warner holiday is having the guidance and tuition available to get you on the water even as a beginner. While the staff tried their best given the circumstances it was clear they didn't have enough staff available to encourage beginners on the water and to give them the help and guidance they needed. What compounded the frustration was the arrival of the missing staff members on the Thursday, the day before we were due to leave. They began putting up boards with information of all the classes and inductions that would be available the following week. Mark Warner chooses to raise their prices during the May half term comparable with prices during peak summer season while those that can travel the following week will get the same holiday at half the price but with twice the facilities and opportunities available. For our family this kind of holiday is a real treat and one we have to save and work hard for, it's not something that we can do every year and we had think very hard as to whether we could afford it this year. I feel like we wasted our money and didn't get the experience we had saved so hard for. The final letdown is the complete silence from the Mark Warner customer services team who haven't replied to any emails to address the above issues. Complete lack of customer service."
