Leland Lodge

Wonderful on every level! We will be back! Loved everything about this beautiful place. Thank you! The hotel staff is more than accommodating in every way. We loved being there from start to finish. I wish we could have stayed even longer. The area is beautiful

Lovely, comfortable welcoming lodge off the city path. Friendly staff greeted me upon arrival. The room was well appointed, clean spacious with an assortment of pillows & comfortable bed. The overall environment & grounds were well maintained also. The service was top-notch! There was a restaurant in the lobby, service & food were good. A couple blocks to walk into town. Overall, a wonderful lodge! I plan to return again!

Check in at front desk was very warm, friendly and accommodating as Brian turned our one night stay into an ASAP two night stay ! Both the lake view and country club atmosphere were beautiful as well as some delicious porch side dining ! Exceptional value for this quaint VIP newly renovated since back in 1927 lodge !

We love the Leland Lodge and try to stay every Spring. Brian was beyond flexible with our weather changes and we lucked out with beautiful weather. They put out a good continental breakfast highlighted with delicious muffins which we enjoyed sitting on their beautiful porch overlooking the golf course. Room was large and Clean. We enjoyed their bar/restaurant, Bogeys two nights. All staff were helpful/friendly especially the servers at Bogeys. Great location for Leland shops/restaurants and 3 great golf courses.

Spur of the moment trip to Lake Michigan over hot Labor Day weekend. Felt lucky to find a place, it's still busy this time of year. This is an older lodge and the rooms are what you'd expect size wise from a building of this age. It appeared to be well maintained. There's a patio to enjoy your morning coffee and view the golf course. Our room was clean and comfortable. It's a quiet place. Easy walk into cute Fish Town or go toward Lake Leelanau. They did have bikes too. We had good food and service at the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed on a Friday night. The location is fantastic, we were upgraded from a queen to a king room even though we had booked last minute. The lodge has a very up north lodge feel but also cozy. Rooms are very nice, though they are not new they are very clean, and include a coffee maker, fridge and microwave, also two cookies! Bed was nice and soft. Also included are bikes, we arrived later and when we left it was raining but this was a great bonus. We will be returning!

We just returned home from another Wonderful stay at The Leland Lodge. The staff is great and the room was clean and spacious. We ate there twice and had wonderful meals each time (my favorite was the huge portion of mac & cheese :)) We are looking very forward to returning soon.

We just returned from a winter weekend getaway with a large group here. I cannot say enough about The Leland Lodge, and how comfortable we felt staying here. Perfect location. Extremely clean! The lodge feels like a lodge, and just adds to that "up north chill vibe". Lots to do from corn hole, to a big connect 4, lots of games, a sled hill outside the door. They set up a coloring station for the kids, and a little theatre area as well. The attention to the little details is what I loved, from real coffee cups and wine glasses in your room, to water, pop, juice boxes, hot chocolate, coffee, home baked muffins in the morning and cookies in the afternoon. We had the entire resort booked, and arranged a dinner one night and breakfast another. The food was fantastic. We felt so catered to in every sense of the word. We had a King room. Beds are very comfortable, the room is equipped with a fridge, microwave, keurig, robes, ironing board, iron, blow dryer, and a make up mirror I wanted to take home. We arrived a day late because of a snow storm near our home, and were worried if we did not make it at all we would lose our deposit, but Brian assured us they would have worked with us as the winter storm we encountered was not our fault in making it up there. He was so accommodating in every way. I felt very at home at this resort. We will absolutely return in fact trying to figure out dates as I'm typing this.
