Historical riverfront home in beautiful LeClaire. Kid and pet friendly!

Great location and home. We took a road trip from Kansas spur of the moment. So happy to find this home. It’s funky cool!!! Our only negative is that we were expecting a true full size kitchen because the “kitchen” was listed under the amenities. That is as far as I looked when booking. However, if you look further in the description, it does say kitchenette. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator and microwave. No sink but there is one across the hall in the laundry room. No dishes but some pots and pans. No stove but a toaster oven and a burner. Looking at the picture of this house and the amenity listing, it’s very easy to assume you get a fully stocked kitchen. We made due and enjoyed our stay. We used the outdoor grill a lot and paper or plastic utensils. The bathroom is updated and we like the decor with all the retro antiques. We would stay again for sure now that we know what to expect.
