Le Manoir des Chevaux dorés

What a fabulous and convenient hotel. Stayed here for one night on the way to Spain. It’s about 0.5 miles from town centre which of quite affluent. Super hotel, lovely room, great service from Tina. Thank you. Even helped me find the keys to my steering wheel lock!!

Beautiful 16th century B&B. We stayed in "Antoinette", a large period room with good ensuite and attractive decor. Friendly helpful welcome. Lovely breakfast. Walking distance into pretty town centre.

We found this Guest House when researching stops for our road trip to Portugal. It’s a perfect location to be in a Normandy Village and not a services style hotel when travelling. Just under 3 hours from the Euro Tunnel which was perfect stop off point. Tina was a charming host, explained the history of the house and recommended a local restaurant which was dog friendly literally 3 minute walk away. The rooms are decorated beautifully, travelling with 2 teenagers we went for ‘Jules & Jim’ suite and had the adjoining ‘Mario’ studio. We had a projector TV in the suite, then table football, games consoles and such lovely decorations in the studio. Both had a small kitchen area with a fridge too. Breakfast was delightful - Tina brought fresh baguettes, croissants, cheese and homemade yoghurt and apple juice. Kids appreciated the huge jar of Nutella, Jams and preserves. We ate this on the terrace, but we could of eaten in our suites or in a kitchen that has an adjoining communal lounge area. Really cute kitchen with Smeg appliances, coffee machine and kettle, Tina explained we were free to come and go and make drink as we wanted. I did read there’s a farmers market on a Wednesday morning but we didn’t arrive until later in the day. Another plus - the petrol stations close to it were considerably cheaper too. Real gem of a find.. we will be back x

Wow, just wow! What a wonderful find! Tina is just the perfect host who made our stay extra special. She understands what her guests need and how to make them feel very welcome. The whole concept is just a little different and quirky. Breakfast we beautiful and the restaurant that was recommended was very good too. Room decor and designs are refreshingly not typically French! We will be back for sure and will book directly.

Excellente étape sur notre périple à vélo. Le manoir est très beau et restauré avec goût. L’accueil est chaleureux, les chambres confortables et le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir . Merci pour tout Tina

Accueil très sympa. Maison normande ancienne restaurée avec goût et modernité. Bravo au décorateur. Etablissement très propre et très bonne literie. J'ai aimé la chambre Maximilien au rez-de-chaussée . Je recommande vivement ce manoir
