Home Hotel Lava Hot Springs

Very pleasant little place to stay that is a short walk to Lava hotsprings. The room was cozy and clean with the world's largest tub that you fill with hotspring water....that's a dream come true for me! The staff were all very pleasant as well. My only complaint is that the outdoor soaking "hot tub" needed a good cleaning and emptying, which they were doing the day we left so I guess staying during the week W-F is what got us there. But we'd definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay as far as proximity to the hot springs. The hotel is in walking distance to the springs. The beds were big and the tub was very spacious but it’s a tight fit for 4 adults in one room. There’s no bathroom counter or space to put your toiletries and the mirror is very small but otherwise a great place to stay.

Staff was verify defensive that began at checkin. They were complaining about damages created by guests. I expressed that was terrible and could not believe people would act that way and be destructive. Within the first hour we had questions and requested a few things for more comfort that was denied. We were fine with that. We were nice about everything. Next thing we knew maintenance showed up at the hot tub explaining a few things were for safety and again told us not to touch or mess with anything. Then looking around at the signs posted. They also stated not to touch or mess with settings. We made no threats or had any intention to. Maintenance showed up and was quite rude. As he walked away saying to quit harassing the front desk. We called once and was nice. The first hour of our stay we felt very un-welcomed. I have stayed at 5 other places at Lava Hot Springs. I would suggest another place.

Incredibly nice place. Cozy room with massive soaker tub. Did bot getvto try that myself but will be back. Close to Hot Springs,food and Lobby. Lady at the front who checked us in was Amazing!!!! Dont pass on this place, give it a shot and see how nice your stay will be.

The access was great for what we were doing. Nice room. The only thing I didn’t like is it was raining and the water dripping on the ac outside was very noisy and kept us awake.

The hotel is very close to the hot spring. The staff are very informative on what is available in the area. And the shower is plumbed with hot spring water.

This is a hotel we have stayed in for several years. We love the huge 2 person tub that you can fill to the brim with hot spring water. The biggest downfall is the beds are terrible. They are very hard, and we woke up sore both days. They also had very few amenities. They had soap, lotion, 4 plastic cups, a mini fridge , a hair dryer and a microwave. They could spend a little more time cleaning and moving the furniture around to vacuum.

The rooms were nice and well equipped. Walking distance to the hot springs and restaurants. Nice place to stay in a fun town.
