We always try to find smaller boutique hotels to stay at when we travel and we found Limen Wellness Hotel online. We didn’t really know what to expect from a wellness hotel but it sounded great. We spent a few nights at “Limen” in October 2023 and want to share our wonderful experience. The hotel is situated just off the main road from Palermo towards Cefalu. The location is excellent with several options for nearby restaurants (by car). We especially loved Ron e Salvo, which is amazing! It’s also a short drive to the long sandy beach. We were warmly greeted by the Limen staff at check-in and they stored our luggage for us until our room was ready. (We arrived early) The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Every area of the hotel had a lovely SPA sense and smell to it. The pool/jacuzzi area was calm, beautiful and perfect. We also booked massages in the SPA and they were very relaxing. The best part of the stay was the breakfast buffet! A wonderful spread of choices, hot food, breads, cereals, yogurts, fruit, cakes, fresh juices, coffees and an incredible hot chocolate. The breakfast really sets the tone for the Wellness hotel since we felt great starting our days with breakfast by the pool. The staff was absolutely lovely and very attentive. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Großer Wert! Große Lage! Personal polit und professionell, vor allem morgens Damen, immer treffen und begrüßen mit einem Lächeln. Zimmer sauber und gefärbt täglich. Handtücher verändert. Nur 15min zu Fuß zur Stadt. Sehr ruhig und ruhig. Wir blieben in einem 203 Zimmer, das war grundlegend, alles, was wir brauchten, ein kleiner Balkon mit Promenade/Seeblick. Dann sind Sie in Cefalù, es gibt so viel zu tun, einen Strand, einen Pool, Spaziergang, so viel Geschichte, tolles Essen. Danke für einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren 4-Nacht-Unterkunft in diesem schönen Hotel! Die Zimmer alle haben einen erstaunlichen Blick und einen großen Balkon zu sitzen und genießen die Sonnenuntergang mit einem Glas Wein. Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß mit viel Zimmer, um uns auszubreiten. Frühstück war erstaunlich ...so viele leckere Möglichkeiten zu wählen. Wir konnten zu einigen Restaurants gehen, aber der Fahrt war kurz in die Stadt. Viele Restaurants zu wählen in Cefalu ... Alle wir versuchten waren wunderbar. Wir haben nur den privaten Strand von Blue Bay ... nur sicherstellen, dass Sie Schuhe für die Pebbles haben. Auch hatten wir keine Probleme mit der Navigation der Schritte, aber beachten Sie, dass es ziemlich wenige Schritte gibt, um zum Strand und zurück zu Ihrem Zimmer. Die Familie, die das Hotel laufen konnte nicht schöner gewesen ...Sehr Gastfreundlich. Meine einzige Bedauern ist, dass ich keinen längeren Aufenthalt ....I würde absolut zurück in die Blue Bay Cefalu!

Es handelt sich hier um einen langgezogenen Hotelkomplex, der im vorderen Teil als 5 Sterne Hotel und im hinteren Bereich als 4 Sterne Hotel dargestellt wird. Die Aussicht runter auf die Bucht ist sicherlich traumhaft und das Personal auch sehr höflich. Aber... man ist weit ab ”vom Schuss”. Rezeption, Restaurant, Bar und Pool sind im vorderen Bereich untergebracht. Leider auch weit weg von der Stadt. Sicherlich kann man diese auch zu Fuß erreichen, wenn man gut laufen kann. Für uns mit 45 Min. veranschlagt einfach zu beschwerlich. Ja, es gibt zwar einen hoteleigenen Shuttlebus, aber der letzte fährt um 18 Uhr aus der Stadt zurück ins Hotel, so das man auf das Reataurant im Hotel angewiesen ist. Oder eben auf Taxis....... Wir hatten eine schöne Suite im 4 Sterne Trakt... der Weg dorthin war ”stufenreich” und - da wir an Gelenkproblemen leiden - leider auch sehr beschwerlich ! Irgendwo ging es immer runter oder hoch.... Im Bad hatten wir eine begehbare Wanne/Whirlpool, leider eine extrem rutschige Angelegenheit und keinerlei Haltegriffe ! Am Abend mussten wir im Dunklen rüber ins Restaurant gehen, erst auf unseren Hinweis hin wurde die Wegbeleuchtung eingeschaltet. Zum Abendessen im Freien unbedingt Mückenschutz verwenden ! Frühstücksbuffet ebenfalls im Aussenbereich. Sehr umfangreich. Eierspeisen waren bei unserem Frühstück ”leider aufgegessen”. Mein Mann wartete mehrere Minuten direkt an der offenen Küche, aber keiner der anwesenden 4 Köche kam mal auf die Idee, nachzufragen ob er etwas haben wollte. Für ein 4/5 Sterne Hotel eigentlich ein Unding ! Wir verbrachten hier nur eine Nacht - für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist dieses Hotel für uns nicht geeignet - ganz unabhängig von dem stolzen Preis !
