The apparently recently remodeled room itself is spacious but sparsely appointed and the space isn't utilized well. But it's okay, as long as you make sure to request a non-smoking floor. I forgot to do that and found the cigarette smell in the hallway and the room quite irritating. But it's the bathroom that disappoints the most. Without a doubt, it's the most poorly designed and equipped hotel bathroom I've ever been in. It's the size of a powder room but with a bathtub crammed into it. Imagine this: no door handle (it has a pocket door instead that doesn't close all the way), no towel bar, no hook on the door and no soap dish or extra bar of soap in the tub. I think they expect you to walk in ready to take a shower or bath carrying absolutely nothing, because there is literally nowhere to put it except the floor. That means if you're wearing anything as you enter the bathroom, there's nowhere to put whatever you take off. Just ridiculous. And the price! Awful. A real bait and switch: they initially tell you the room rate, but by the time you're ready to pay, they've added a resort amenity fee and tax and it's literally $75-100 more than you were expecting. And their charges are completely non-refundable. Overall, a huge disappointment. Stay as far away from this place as you can.
