Maresía Canteras Urban Hotel

For the small price we paid, we were definitely impressed by the quirkiness of this attractive little hotel. Key collection was hassle-free and the reception area was really inviting! (we didn't get to see the other public spaces but from what I can see from the photos, this would be a great place for a solo traveller to meet people on their stay in Las Canteras.) The room itself was clean, fresh and quaint. It was modern yet the splash of colour and brightness of the room gave it a very homely vibe. The biggest downsides for me would be the views and the lack of parking. Whilst I know it's an urban hotel so you can't expect much more than the packed streets of Las Canteras, I just felt there was a lack of privacy as we were literally metres away from other shop and bedroom windows at the opposite side of the street. They don't have any parking either so we drove around for nearly 40 minutes before being lucky enough to eventually find a spot on the street. Nevertheless, I would say an ideal spot for backpackers/surfers, looking to find a welcoming hotel in walking distance from the beach and the bustle of Las Canteras.

Beautiful accommodation , 5 mins walk from the beech front. Extremely clean .large comfy beds , air con , safe ,toiletries. In the lobby entrance ares there was a chill out space , tea and coffee facilities. Absolutely would return here without question

Comment - we stayed there for 7 days, no one at the hotel no staff what so ever. The manager approached us the following day and made a disgusting comment to me saying if I was X person to which I said no and said oh sorry I made a mistake with someone I slept last night 😒 I was utterly shocked to hear. I left the hotel 7 days after to my surprise they had take the money twice. when I called they said it was a penalty for non payment .. to which I said that we had thought that money had been take directly from booking however he said that we had still pending legal fees cause they had to include lawyers, which is not true as to date they have not taken out anything. Is is the worst place ever. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK place was empty completely. We have now included lawyers as they have not been able to prove that we left without paying after 2 exact payments were taken out. Everything is super suspicious starting from the manager himself.

Hemos estado 8 colegas 5 días. Agradable, limpio, bien situado. Dispone de servicio de infusiones. Hall agradable para departir con otros huespedes. No excesivamente ruidoso a pesar de estar en una zona de paso. Zona de bares y restaurantes muy próxima. A 50m de la playa

Excelente, habitaciones muy bien, ubicación muy buena, muy cerca de la playa y de zonas comerciales y de restauración y el trato del personal muy amable. Muy recomendable si solo es para descansar ya que carece de servicios

Le camere sono molto carine, ben arredate e pulite, il bagno grande con un confortevole vano doccia, sembra di stare in un disegno della Holly Hobbie. La posizione è buona perché a due passi dalla spiaggia di Las Canteras con tutta la sua vita di locali e ristoranti. La Vegueta invece è più lontana e bisogna prendere un taxi per arrivarci. Noi al Maresia siamo arrivate il 6 gennaio, giorno festivo, e non abbiamo avuto grossi problemi a trovare un parcheggio nei pressi della struttura. Chiaramente nei due giorni e mezzo che siamo state lì l'auto non l'abbiamo più spostata. Ritornando al Maresia, a noi è sembrata un po' una struttura "fantasma". A parte la presenza di una ragazza gentile che appariva di tanto in tanto, una ragazza sudamericana, non si è visto nessuno. Una pecca della struttura è sicuramente il fatto che non ci sia un mini frigo. All'arrivo c'è una bottiglia d'acqua di cortesia che però è assolutamente a temperatura ambiente, cioè calda
