The food was very nice and reasonable. There was a special on each day. .There was a special on everyday .The bathroom wasn't cleaned the floors were dirty We had to clean the floor in the kitchen as it seemed it wasn'twashed before we arrived.The cutlery was dirty in the drawers The glasses were all marked . There was brown marks on all the doors.Even thou it was quite reasonable price to stay in it should be cleaned properly after each groups stay. If you have mobility issues There is alot of steps Staff were very friendly

Was ok apart from the cockroaches all over in the evening couple in our shower room in the morning Also the old woman on the bar was very rude to my 9 year old daughter twice and when I called her out on it she called us both liars No customer service skills what so ever

Cheap and cheerful! Apartment and facilities were clean. Wi-Fi was not free. There was a good number of pools in the apartment block and it was very convenient to the local restaurants, bars and shops. There was no air conditioning but it was not needed as the apartment was shaded as was the seating area outside. Towels, bedding, hairdryer and safe were all provided.

This was a last minute holiday for us and very cheaply priced. We appreciated we were going to get basic accommodation and expected as much. We emailed the hotel beforehand with a request for a balcony room . An immediate response was received and we were given a room with a balcony overlooking the pool, which was excellent customer service. The balcony was a lovely size but it was completely open, so no opportunity to sit here due to the wind which is pretty much present all the time! The room was sp****ly decorated ( no problem with that) but it smelt very damp. The towels and the sheets were also damp to the touch. The weather whilst we stayed was not very good ( of course no one’s fault!) but this meant the apartment having no air con / heating was absolutely freezing to the point we were going to bed fully clothed! We were dressing for the cold to go out and finding it was actually quite warm outside! The apartment itself looked clean on first impression but as you started using things / moving around it really wasn’t. The beds are two single beds and were very hard and uncomfortable. Both myself and my husband had difficulty sleeping and we both had aching / bad backs due to this. There were no plug sockets in the bedroom whatsoever. The bathroom was very sp**** and cold but had plenty of hot water. Toilet paper was provided but you will need hand soap as this was not. The shower was a hand held shower head that was attached to the wall. You either had to literally stand against the wall to get the flow of water or hold it by hand. Also had shower curtains which are so unhygienic and should be banned from the face of the earth! The pool area looked lovely and very clean and there were plenty of sun beds available. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t lend itself to sitting by the pool and as there were no other real areas to relax, it meant going out or staying in the cold damp room. The apartments are situated on a steep hill. It is a very short hill but it is very difficult and slippery going down and then an absolute hike going up! The beach / promenade are at the bottom of the hill so the apartments are extremely well located. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from and all very clean and well presented. The beach itself is spotless. I do think it was fairly good value for the money we paid, and mostly for the location. But even for the cheap price , I would still expect the sheets / bedding to not be damp, the room to have not been so cold and to have a shower that can be used correctly. However, it was in a fantastic location and I’m sure the weather played a part in this so would be a great cheap holiday if you don’t mind any of the above. Would I go again? No.

We were aware it is a two star establishment but it gives you so much more. The staff were all friendly, the bar/cafe was nice food and reasonably priced, better with happy hour. The entertainer was very good to all the occupants, the rooms were a good size and cleaned almost every day. 7 pools so you could relax or not. Needs air con for the hotter months but we had a good time

Best holiday. The bar staff were brilliant. Clean, spacious rooms. 10 euro for TV remote (returned back) 14 euro for safe (7 days) 10 euro for extra key (returned back) Have to pay for WiFi. Think it's about 24 euro for one week for two devices. We didn't buy it though, We had two bedroom apartment, they are at the back. Brilliant rooms but just a pity about the steps up the them (ramp half way, steps the rest) Only 1 bedroom apartments at the main pool side. Lots of sun loungers, no problem getting one, Food at the pool bar is lovely and reasonably priced. Drinks were brilliant too. Happy hour is everyday between 4-5pm. (2 pints of beer for 2.50euro for example) Entertainment on some nights, e.g bingo, karaoke, quiz. Apartments not far from main *****, but up a very very steep hill. But it's only 3euro for a taxi. Cost us €17.50 in taxi from airport to apartments. Supermarket just at the front of the apartments. Has everything. A bit dearer than others. But handy for water, food etc. If you go right at the front of the apartments it takes you into the old town, rather than going down the steep hill and across the sea front. We had a brilliant holiday.

Were unlucky enough to be in apartment 167. Absolutely filthy and when we asked to be moved the guy at reception just shrugged his shoulders. Wardrobe doors would hardly open for the grime in them. The rooms which had been renovated looked nice.

Lovely apartment up at the back, overlooking a small pool...the apartment was very clean, towels changed every other day.... Stayed here 5 times, never had a problem.. lovely comfortable beds, kettle for morning coffee on the balcony and a hair dryer for wifey, meant we were both happy... Hopefully back again in 2025...

We have been coming to Puerto del Carmen for 11years now and have stayed in various studio and one bed apartments and villas. We emailed before we came and asked for a balcony and when we arrived we' were given a balcony with a lovely view of the sea. The apartment is one of the more updated ones. It was clean and has got what you need for basic self catering. The towels are changed every 3 days and bedding once a week. They come in most days to clean around apartment. They will book trips for you at reception they are very accommodating and we have had a breakfast at the snack bar which was good value for money. We are here for 2wks and we have got no complaints about this place and will definitely return here. There are plenty of places to sunbathe plenty of sun loungers. Everywhere is kept clean. Highly recommend. For what you pay it's good value for money and as good as anywhere else we have stayed
