Gutes Business Hotel. Für Touristen nicht so geeignet, da hier natürlich alles auf Geschäftsleute ausgerichtet ist, die das Hotel auch in Massen bevölkern. Hektik überall. Urlaubsstimmung kommt hier nicht auf. Leider hat das Hotel beim Zimmerservice und in der Gastronomie einige Macken. Es wird sich zwar oft von irgendeinem Manager erkundigt ob alles in Ordnung war, aber es wäre besser, wenn man einfach im vorhinein dafür sorgt, daß es vernünftig läuft. Am ersten Tag war ein Haar im Bad. An einem anderen Tag wurde das Zimmer vom Zimmermädchen vergessen. Das Frühstück war gut, aber mit 20 Dollar nicht billig. Zwei mal habe ich ein Bier bekommen, welches nicht mehr in Ordnung war. Die Margarita, war die schlechteste die ich je in den USA bekommen hatte. Als ob man was gut machen will, hat man mein Trinkgeld nicht von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Eine der jungen Frauen die dort gearbeitet hatte sprach kein Wort Englisch. Wenigstens konnte sie Spanisch, aber für ein vier Sterne Hotel in den USA ist das meiner Meinung nach nicht akzeptabel. Das Essen an der Bar war extrem überteuert. Eine Brezel hat z.B. 10 Dollar gekostet.

In den Worten von Bette Davis, “Was für ein Dump. ” In seiner Begünstigung hatten wir einen schönen Blick auf Lady Bird Lake aus unserem Fenster, das schön war, zu wachen, und der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war großartig! Das Badezimmer schien teilweise aktualisiert und war ziemlich anständig. Free Parkplatz, auch. Es gab ein paar HBO-Kanäle im Fernsehen. Das Hotel ist jedoch sehr datiert und nicht sehr sauber. Die Innenparkplatzgarage war gefüllt und schmutzig geleuchtet. Es fühlte sich nicht sehr sicher da, so parkten wir im Außenlot wann immer möglich. Keine Begrüßung von der Nachtzeit-Buffetaut, als wir aus dem Abendessen zurückkamen, da sie scheint, vorsätzlich Augenkontakt mit uns zu vermeiden (sie war nicht am Telefon oder beschäftigt mit jemand anderen). Die Betten zerfallen etwas in der Mitte, die Linen waren alt und müde, und der Stuhl in der Ecke sah schlimmer aus als einige, die ich durch die Kurve gestellt habe. Ein alter Leck auf der Decke war schlecht geplastert, und es gab Farben auf dem Tischstuhl, Teppich und Wände. Die Tür zum angrenzenden Zimmer gab nicht genügend Soundproofing, wie ich das Telefonkonvoi unseres Nachbarn laut und klar hörte. Das Pool-Gebiet sah nicht sehr einladend aus, da es keine Schatten oder Bäume gab, um die starke Sonne zu blockieren. Wir wollten in der Stadt Austin bleiben, um sich zu Fuß zu den Dingen zu befinden, so war dies die am wenigsten teuer Option. Aber nicht viel konnte man von dort hingehen, und das Gebiet, in dem es war, war ein wenig skizziert, so dass wir endlich Ubers nehmen, jedenfalls. Wir hatten letzte Nacht in einem Hotel im Arboretum-Bereich reserviert, weil dieser für Freitag Nacht zu einem lächerlich hohen Betrag (Musikfestival in der Stadt) ging und es endlich genauso bequem war, einen Uber von dort (15-20 min) nach der Stadt zu nehmen. Das Hotel war viel schöner und viel billiger. Leben und lernen.

Dieses Hotel ist gut, es gibt einen Außenpool, zum gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt ist es noch offen, das Frühstück ist OK. Insgesamt ist es besser für den Fitness, der Fitnessraum ist OK, insgesamt zufrieden. 🔔 Service: Gut, Selbsthilfe-Drucker ist nicht gut zu bedienen, die Rezeption hat Hilfe geholfen, die Leute sind sehr gut. 🍃 Umwelt: OK 🧹 Gesundheit: OK 🚗 Verkehr: OK

This hotel has all the basics: spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very decent continental breakfast, and everything works. However, it is in desperate need of a face lift - new carpets, upholstery, etc. There is a strong smell of ”old”. We went first to a Target to buy air freshener which we used liberally in both rooms all three days we were there. If you can deal with that, this hotel provides good value.

Our stay at the Studio 6 was an excellent stop over before a flight early in the morning. The gentleman at the front counter was helpful and friendly to me and my daughter. The rooms were very clean and simple. Our room had two beds, and a nice table for us to get some work done and eat the pizza we ordered in. The lobby had some nice vending machines and a place to sit. The hotel was quiet and the grounds felt safe and secure. There is security outside and you are required to post your parking pass in your car. The Studio Six is surrounded by other hotels in walking distance. We felt safe, welcomed and enjoyed our stay! We would stay again!

Großes sauberes Zimmer, komfortables Bett und das Frühstück war auch gut. Nachtwechsel-Personal war wirklich willkommen. Aber es wäre gut, in der Hotelbeschreibung zu erwähnen, dass der Flughafen-Shuttle um 11 Uhr unterhält. Jedenfalls können wir empfehlen und würden dieses Hotel noch einmal buchen. :)

Terrible customer service, gave the hotel and Marriott multiple chances to make this right and despite corporate saying multiple times they would, they didn’t and I’m a Bonvoy Titanium. I requested a late checkout and reserved a 2:30 PM Airport Shuttle. I returned to my room at 1:45PM and when to the front desk and checked out at 2:15PM, handing the front desk clerk my key and giving my room #. I then sat around in the deserted lobby for 15 minutes, occasionally getting up and walking to door to look for the shuttle. At 2:30 I was at the door looking for the shuttle when the desk clerk called my last name and asked if it was me. I replied yes and was told the shuttle left without me because they knocked on my door and called my room and I wasn’t there and would have to wait until 3PM for the next shuttle. I asked how I missed it since I had been in the lobby 15 minutes early and was then told it never actually came back to the hotel from the airport because sometimes people don’t show up or forget they made a reservation and I didn’t answer my room phone or knock so they assumed I was a no show. I told the desk clerk I had been in my room from 1:45pm and reminded her I checked out at 2:15pm handing her my key, and asked why didn’t she tell me then? She then asked again why I didn’t answer my room phone/knock and told me I would have to wait until 3pm. Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where the customer agent is told she does not know the meaning of a reservation and how to hold a reservation! I couldn’t wait until 3pm and took an Uber. No way to contact hotel management directly to request reimbursement of my $12.85 Uber fare so contacted Bonvoy customer service online and made the request. Was sent an email stating the hotel’s accounting department would contact me in 3-5 business days. Never happened and sent multiple follow ups online and no reply. Finally called the Titanium desk and asked what was going on, no apologies or explanations on why the hotel never contacted me and why my follow ups were ignored but they were able to pull up the initial correspondence in the system and after a long wait told me the Uber fare would be refunded which as far as I can tell, never happened despite the call occurring over a month ago.

Alles ging ohne einen Hits! Zimmer war sauber und alles funktionierte. Badezimmer war besser als die meisten Motels, die ich geblieben habe. Sehr bequem Frühstück jeden Tag, das mit dem Zimmer enthalten ist und hat mehrere Wahlen. Schönes Innenpool und Fitnessraum. Ich werde zurück sein!
