Wir sind am Montag hier, und ich muss sagen, wir wurden direkt von seiner zentralen Lage und Wasserfront-Aussichten getroffen. Wir waren so nah an vielen Restaurants, Bars und Museen usw., sowie die alte Stadt nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Aber auf der Unterseite war kein Luftkoni und es war ein besonders heißes paar Tage. Wir fühlten auch das Zimmer ein wenig klein, da wir nur das Bett von 1 Seite zugreifen konnten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und vielfältig, obwohl es in beruflichen Zeiten schwierig sein könnte, einen Tisch direkt zu finden. Insgesamt hatten wir einen großen Aufenthalt in einem guten Hotel in einer wirklich erstaunlichen Stadt. Wir werden zurück!

The hotel is in a convenient location near old town and on a quiet street. The rooms are nicely furnished with a small sofa, a couple of chairs, a desk and good lighting. The bathroom was clean with good shower pressure.
We used the sauna and the pool which are in the next building over. When we went at night it was pretty busy, the changeroom is for both men/women but the showers are separated.
The hotel had plenty of street parking when we stayed so we lucked out - the hotel has paid parking for 80 PLN to park in their parkade.
We found there wasn't much near the hotel except for a handful of restaurants and a convenience store. Lots of restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 minute walk so it is convenient enough.

Dieses Hotel befindet sich direkt in der Einfahrt zum Alten Gdansk, so dass die Lage super bequem für einen Spaziergang überall ist und es ist eine Haltestelle auf der Zugbahn vom Bahnhof. Es passiert viel auf der Straße, aber das Zimmer war ruhig, als die Fenster geschlossen wurden. Das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel, und wir waren froh, dass wir dort geblieben waren. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder dort bleiben.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Royal Residence. Der Besitzer war sehr hilfsbereit und sehr nett, es gab ein Problem mit unserem Zimmer, da die vorherigen Gäste ein ziemliches Chaos hinterlassen hatten. Er holte uns vom Flughafen ab, fand ein alternatives Zimmer für eine Nacht im Stadtzentrum und fuhr uns am nächsten Morgen zum Hotel. Das Hotel selbst verfügt über geräumige Zimmer und bequeme Betten und liegt in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, nur 3 Straßenbahnhaltestellen entfernt. Sehr gute Qualität in diesem Preis!

Travelled in August 2024 as a family group of 11 people with ages ranging from 13-75. We had 4 rooms, all with the same set up of a shower room, sleeping area and kitchen area with table on ground floor and mezzanine level with an additional bed. The hotel is housed in a former plant for manufacture of u boat engines and the new architecture reflects the old fabric and history of the building. The apartments were modern, clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. There was no housekeeping during our stay but as it was only 3 nights for us it didn’t prove to be a problem, but might be for longer stays. Reception desk were very helpful. Location is slightly outside the main tourist areas but was only 10-15 mins walk along the canal side to the edge of the old town and about 5-10 mins walk to the war museum. Entire ground floor of the building is a food hall with various vendors selling foods from every corner of the world and also a coffee shop and bar. This meant stress free eating as everyone could find something that they liked. There was inside and outside seating areas and we managed to find enough seats so we could all sit together even on Saturday night which was very busy. I would recommend this hotel for families

My biggest concern was lack of closet space for two people in our room. We stayed for few days so we had little more luggage and clothes change. There was only one closet with the hangers and that was all we could use. There are some shelves above main closet but you can't reach them without climbing chairs. Water in the jug instead of bottles is a big no for me. Terrible kettle. It is almost impossible to fill the cup without spill hot water all-over the place. I would prefer to have a proper tea jug instead of those small cups provided. And finally the note in the bathroom about the hair dryer. I suggest to use some English speaker for translation instead Google translator. Right now it is hilarious. Good job to reception staff. Very nice, polite and helpful young people.

I visited this hotel with my family for the second time in two years. We loved the spacious rooms, the staff were always friendly and the location is fantastic. My visit this time was somewhat tainted after i discovered after I left I had left an expensive shirt and jumper in the wardrobe of room 404. I contacted the hotel and offered to pay any fees to have the items returned or arrange pick up as i have family in Gdansk but after checking the room (only a couple of days after leaving) they informed me they did not find anything in the wardrobe. They told me the room was cleaned shortly after i left and as such I was concerned that either they were not owning up to having placed my clothes within a bin or someone had taken the items for themselves. There is very little you can do living in another country with an issue like this however it has made me reconsider booking for a 3rd time as im not convinced the staff are completley trustworthy.

Ich konnte mit der Aussicht nichts genießen. Es war anders als ich erwartet hatte.
Schmutzige Bademäntel und vielleicht ein wiederverwendeter Pappbecher, und sogar das Handtuch wurde nicht vollständig gewechselt, eines lag am Griff. Die Bademäntel waren durcheinander, wie Sie auf dem Bild sehen können.
Ich habe mich gefragt, ob jemand die Reinigung nicht beendet und es vergessen hat.
Und das Schockierendste war der schmutzige Pappbecher, auf den Leitungen waren Kaffeeflecken.
Ich war hier für zwei Nächte und stellte fest, dass die Reinigungssituation zu spät war, sodass ich nicht an der Rezeption anrief. Aber als ich den Angestellten an der Rezeption mitteilte, dass sie auschecken sollten, entschuldigten sie sich und boten mir eine kostenlose Taxifahrt zum Hauptbahnhof an.
Aber im Ernst, dieses Hotel sollte den Reinigungsservice verbessern.
