It was my first time booking an apartment for my family stay. Staff from Fuju Homestay were most helpful even before we started our stay at their property. They were most proactive in briefing and guiding us of the check-in procedures as well as directional and travel options to R&F from CIQ. A little challenge I faced was retrieving the key card from the mail box. No fault of theirs, just my bad eyesight doesn't work well with small size numbers and glare from the lights in the mail box room didnt help much. Upon entering our unit, we were greeted by a very prestine clean condition of the place. The place is very well kept and clean. We had a minor issue with the fan remotes, Fuju staff was extremely fast in their response (faster than calling 999, haha...) Though we didn't manage to resolve the issue, it was still a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Just some comments for improvement would be the labelling for the soap and shampoo. Was a little too small and almost blended in with the background of the tiles. They also have the most interesting bidet spray I've ever come across. Took me awhile to figure out how it really works. Hopefully the surrounding areas of the building will improve quickly. Not much amenities but grabbing around was still convenient. I wish we had more time to explore other parts of the property. We're looking forward to booking another stay there for our next visit. Many thanks to the staff who attended our fan remotes issue, unfortunately forgot to get his name. His help was much appreciated. Overall a very good experience and definitely worth returning for future visits. P/S: Could not upload the video on how to use the bidet spray. Will post on my Google review if possible.

hotel is simple, new and most importantly, clean ! the basics like toothbrushes, towels, hair dryer etc. are provided. room is pretty spacious. wall is a little thin though, could hear other guests talking in the corridor BUT the comfy beds and pillows made up for it, slept like a baby on both nights 🙂↕️ jb sentral is connected to the mall right behind the hotel, making it just a few mins walk (take the walkway next to public bank) would def book here again !

Das Kondominium befindet sich zwischen KSL und Holiday Plaza. Sehr bequeme Lage. Alles ist gut und neu. Zu schlecht ist der Infinity Pool für den Service geschlossen. Der erste Nachtaufenthalt war etwas laut am Abend vom Lärm von Motorrädern. Avery Management ist süß, um uns mit komplimentären Ohrschleifen zu versorgen. Avery Management hat uns auch mit kostenlosem Einsatz von Netflix. Der Aircon war super leistungsfähig und die Verbindung ist mit Wächtern auf 24/7 Pflicht gesichert. Freier Parkplatz wurde auf den Ebenen 3 und 4 des Gebäudes bereitgestellt. Wir werden sicherlich wieder hier bleiben, wenn wir zu JB kommen. 3 friends went on a 1-night staycation in Johor Bahru for a girls’ night out, and we had such a great experience! 😊 It can feel a bit unsafe walking along the roadside late at night, but the hotel front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made us feel much more at ease. They even surprised us with free foldable recyclable bags (the red packet in the photo), which was such a thoughtful touch! The room was spotless and very well-maintained. We were also pleasantly surprised to be given a high-floor room on level 20 even though we only checked in around 11 pm — such a nice bonus! The view was amazing, overlooking the customs area and parts of Jalan Wong Ah Fook, especially at night. Location-wise, it’s super convenient — only about a 10-minute walk to Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, where there are plenty of food and café options. Overall, we had a really pleasant and enjoyable stay. It’s definitely great value for money, and we would absolutely come back again for another girls’ trip! 💖

5mins walk to CIQ. Komta shopping mall is just opposite the hotel. Taking grab from hotel is easy. Hotel room is facing Komta shopping mall is abit noisy as there is a pub beside the hotel. Live band singing is very loud and did not stop until 12 midnight. You can’t take a quick shower as you need to have patience to adjust the hot/cold tap to the right temperature otherwise you may get “burnt” from the hot water. We managed the water technique as we stayed the hotel for 2 nights. Hotel bed is comfy and the staff is very nice and helpful.

I love the location of this property which is just a short walk from JB Sentral. The surrounding is green and calm, away from the chaos of the city center. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to their sister hotel in the city center. My room was clean with a queen size bed. It was clean and I find the color scheme cheerful. Breakfast is excellent large variety Asian and Western food available. They also breakfast on the go should you be in a hurry . All in all I had a very pleasant stay with friendly helpful staff with good English fluency. I would have given this stay a perfect score if not for some small flying insects found in the room. I took photos and showed to the reception.

Der Hotelservice war ziemlich schnell, um uns bei unserem Aircon-Problem in unserem Zimmer zu helfen, aber wir mussten direkt zum Frontdesk fahren, um unser Zimmer zu ändern, nachdem wir erzählten, dass unser Aircon ein Problem hatte und wir mussten die Zimmer ändern. Wir haben auch einige Wasserflaschen und Schlamm in unserem neuen Zimmer gefragt, aber nur die Wasserflaschen kamen, ohne Schlamm. Das Frühstück war großartig, mit einer Vielzahl von Küchen. Die Einrichtungen im Zimmer waren großartig, außer es gab keine YouTube/Netflix, die fragwürdig ist, da die meisten 4-5 Sternhotels dies bieten. Insgesamt glaube ich, der Hotelservice war ziemlich gut, aber könnte bei der Beantwortung der Gäste’ Anfragen mehr Aufmerksamkeit sein.

Great Location & Excellent Service! Citrus Hotel Johor Bahru is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for convenience and comfort. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, close to shopping malls, restaurants, and just a short drive from the Causeway if you’re crossing to Singapore. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you check in. Any requests were handled quickly and with a smile, which really made the stay feel special. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and good value for the price. Perfect base for exploring Johor Bahru without the hassle of long commutes. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting JB!

The hotel has a great location, and the service is very polite. The room is clean, just slightly small. Overall, it’s still very good. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn’t great, and you can hear noise from outside.

Ich checkte am Montag um 15:15 Uhr ein und es ging schnell und einfach. Das Personal war freundlich und das Zimmer war sauber. Das Hotel liegt günstig neben dem KSL-Einkaufszentrum, in dem es viele Massagesalons, Friseursalons, einen Lotus-Supermarkt und viele wichtige Dinge gibt. Kostenlose Hausschuhe, Standard-Toilettenartikel und ein Minikühlschrank. Ich zahlte 52 $ für einen Aufenthalt (Kingsize-Bett) ohne Frühstück.
