Die Lage ist ein Plus, in der Nähe von Portofino und Paraggi. Hat eigene bezahlte Parkplätze. Frühstück für 4+ Rating. Die Aussicht vom Fenster zum Meer ist wunderschön. Minus: Die Beschäftigten am Strand sind sehr unbehaglich, Hotelgäste, die nur eine halbe Stunde ohne ein Sonnenbett gekommen sind, werden gebeten, fast die Dinge auf der Straße zu verlassen und sind 5 Minuten lang auf einem Handtuch am Meer verboten. Es tut mir leid, aber ich besuche meist 5 Sterne Hotels - das ist das erste Mal, dass ich so eine Einstellung getroffen habe.

The Hotel metropole is in a good location just a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants and centre of Santa Margherita Ligure. The hotel has parking although it’s quite expensive what’s good is you don’t have to worry about parking you leave your keys with reception and they will sort it out for you. When we left the concierge brought the car to hotel front door for us which was a nice thing to do. The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool and you can also use the indoor pool, sauna and steam room in the spa you just need to book a slot. We were told the slot was for an hour but we weren’t hurried at all. The gardens are really well kept and look amazing. There is also a sunbathing area right on the sea with access to swim in the sea as well. Our room was really clean and well maintained and some traditional features had been kept which helped with character of the room. The room overlooked the pool and garden and had a spacious balcony to sit and admire the view. The hotel includes breakfast which was a good selection and kept well topped up and provided a good start to the day. The hotel has a nice restaurant although we didn’t eat there the menu had a good choice and there is a bar down by the sea which was nice for drinks. Santa Margherita is a lovely town with lots of shops and restaurants and you can get the ferry to Portofino and Rapallo. We walked to Portofino which took about 1hr walking slowly and has great views along the way.

This was our last night before returning home and it was a wonderful hotel. This hotel was reasonably priced. Even taking taxis to Portofino we were able to live better at a lower price than staying in Portofino. In fact, we enjoyed the City of Santa Marguerita way better than Portofino. The room was large and well done. Breakfast the next morning was very nice with lots to offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would go back to this hotel if we returned to Santa Marguerita.

Wir haben das Hotel im August 2021 besucht. Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Sehr gepflegt und wunderschön. Leider war der Service eine KATASTROPHE. Das Hotel schien personalmäßig vollkommen unterbesetzt. Wenn man mal einen Kellner im Haupt- oder Poolrestaurant oder unten am Strand erwischte, war dieser schlecht ausgebildet, unfreundlich und sprach kaum Englisch. Egal wo in diesem Hotel, man hatte immer das Gefühl, man falle den Angestellten zur Last. Der Concierge war nicht in der Lage, uns einen Tisch für einen Lunch in Positano zu reservieren. Es war nicht möglich, einen bestimmten Tisch im Hotelrestaurant zum Dinner zu reservieren. Bestellungen unten am Strand wurden schon 45 Minuten vor Ende der Badezeit nicht mehr angenommen, da die Bar ”schon geputzt werde”. Das gleiche bei Bestellungen im Poolrestaurant. Zimmerservice zu bekommen war fast ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Der Höhepunkt war, als wir eine Stunde vor Ende der Badezeit ans Meer hinuntergingen und uns der Bademeister allen Ernstes zu verstehen gab, wir könnten keine Liegen mehr haben, weil die Handtücher leer seien. Welche holen wollte er uns nicht - vielmehr meinte er, wir könnten uns ja selbst welche an der Rezeption holen. Corona hin oder her, in einem 5 Sterne-Hotel dieser Preisklasse solchen ”Service” anzubieten, ist eine Frechheit. Da kann die Anlage noch so schön sein - der schlechte Service ist am Ende das, an was man sich erinnert. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, aber klein und in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Zimmerwechsel - weil direkt über dem Parkplatz - war nicht möglich.

Wenn Sie nach einem zentralen und freundlichen Hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure suchen, suchen Sie nicht weiter als das Hotel Laurin. Jahre Erfahrung in der Gastfreundschaftsindustrie zeigen durch die freundliche Mitarbeiter cortesity. Der Eigentümer ist amüsant und freundlich und wird alles tun, um Ihren Aufenthalt angenehmer zu machen. Die Lage ist zentraler für die Tigullio-Gebiet und erlaubt Gästen, ihre eigenen Pläne und Reisen ohne die Bank zu brechen, möchten einen Tag am Strand verbringen? Sie werden Sie mit einigen der besten Strände aufstellen. wollen Sie einen Tagreise nach Cinque Terre? der Bahnhof ist eine 5-10 Minute Spaziergang. wollen Sie Portofino oder San Fruttuoso besuchen? die Fähren sind über die Straße. Sind Sie eine Nachtlebensperson? Alle Bars sind buchstäblich um die Ecke. Sehr hoch empfohlen.

Charming hotel with an excellent staff. We stayed for one night, came to the hotel and checked in our rooms. One of the rooms had a broken a/c. The front desk told us to carry on with our day and go out like we wanted to and they will fix it. We wanted to go to the beach and asked for beach towels, we had no 5 euros on us for the security deposit and offered to pay in American dollars and they said it’s okay no need to pay but please bring them back and have us the towels and when they saw that we had no beach bag they gave us the towels on a beach bag. We came back to a different room because they couldn’t fix the ac in the first room. They sent a staff member to help us move our luggage. The second room had a broken ac as well so we told them on our way out and when we came back at the end of the night they told us to go check and if we need a new room we can leave our luggage in the room and just go sleep in a new room that has a good ac! They were very accommodating and eager to please. The breakfast was good. Loved the staff and how kind they were. We will be back God willing.

My family And I had a wonderful stay for one week at this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff at all Times were excellent and so accommodating and friendly - front desk, housekeeping and f & b. Feliciano the concierge was exceptional and helped arrange a room and extended stay in a busy period when we had a change of plan. Highly reccomend the spa rooms with terrace and the sensational evening aperitivo in the courtyard . Beach towels for the beach clubs and valet parking also excellent features !

We stayed here as part of my Italian birthday celebration. The property is very charming with stunning sea views. Our room had a wonderful sea view with a large balcony. All of the hotel staff were very pleasant and welcoming. On my birthday, the hotel and restaurant staff helped my husband surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and champagne during breakfast. They also had a nice buffet of breakfast items to choose from, along with coffee, juices, bottled waters and espresso. My husband booked a massage for us and although they didn’t offer a couples massage, we were able to make separate appointments and enjoyed our deep tissue massages. With the help of the hotel staff, we got directions and information for places we wanted to visit. We were able to walk into town to nearby restaurants. We also walked to the train station for a day trip to Cinque Terre. We weren’t able to swim in the ocean because of the inclement weather during our stay but definitely will return here when we’re back during warmer weather. We would recommend this hotel to those visiting the Italian riviera.

We arrived with high expectations and were not disappointed. Beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning location. We had the most wonderful holiday and thank all the staff for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. This is a boutique hotel so the rooms are not huge but our deluxe room was very comfortable with a large terrace overlooking Pariggi Bay. I still hold the memory of my morning coffee sat on thst terrace overlooking the view. Two big bonuses are included..a bed on the beach with towels (beds are at premium cost at establishments either side of the hotel) and a shuttle service to Portofino during the day until 10:30 at night. The beach is sandy and lovely for swimming. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant and enjoyed the attentive service and food. Also the receptionists were happy to recommend restaurants nearby in Portofino which were excellent to. Santa Margherita is also not far away by local bus which stops virtually outside the hotel.

Das Hotel ist ein hervorragendes kleines Hotel und sehr guter Preis an einem Ort, wo alles andere extrem teuer ist. Die Zimmer sind hell und attraktiv, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist großartig - nur wenige Schritte vom schönen Bay of Paraggi - und sie servieren ein gutes Frühstück für nur 10 Euro. Ich blieb in Paraggi und dachte, es wäre günstiger als Portofino. Falsch. Die Restaurants sind teuer (z.B. 18 Euro für ein Glas Wein) und ein Sonnenbett im Juli kostet mindestens 90 Euro pro Tag. Das alles macht Hotel Argentina ein außergewöhnlich guter Deal.
