Das Zimmer ist sauber und modern und hat wirklich über alle kleinen Dinge wie Zahnbürsten, Flasche Wasser und Wein im Kühlschrank für Kleider und Luxus-Linen und Zubehör gedacht. Lage ist sensationell und Minen vom Hafen und Flughafen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen genug. Wir wurden heute Morgen von den wunderschönsten Rezeptoren und verriegelbaren Einheiten für unsere Taschen begrüßt. Wir werden sicher zurück sein. Super beeindruckt.

We have recently returned from the most fantastic holiday ever in the Rivendell Apartments in Corfu. The complex is small and intimate with 13 well equipped and spotless apartments all with a balcony. Our apartment overlooked a lovely pool which was never too busy to relax by and have an enjoyable swim. The location is perfect, set in a beautiful mountainous area of Corfu but only approximately 15km from Corfu Town and 16km from the airport. While a number of guests had cars for exploring, we chose not to as there is a bus stop only 100m from the complex and buses providing direct links to Corfu Town, the airport and in the other direction the town and beaches of Sidari. What really made the holiday special were the owners and hosts Nick and Aglaia. Nick is clearly the most handsome and charming man in Corfu if not the whole of Greece!! Aglaia is a beautiful lady and an absolutely wonderful 5 star cook. Aglaia runs the onsite restaurant (which has received 5 google stars) and people come from far and wide to taste her food. She cooks traditional Greek dishes including meatballs, moussaka and a true speciality pastichio. My husband thought he had died and gone to heaven and compared her to Gordon Ramsey. I am not only a vegetarian but also a very fussy eater and Aglaia catered wonderfully to my requirements. I have never eaten so well in my life. For a light meal she also does a light and crispy pizza and a Greek salad to die for. A substantial breakfast is available, made with the freshest of ingredients and includes cold meats, bread, omelette, yoghurt and fresh fruits all served with her wonderful Greek coffee. You will not need to eat again until dinner time. The restaurant is extremely competitively priced for the quality of the food and cooking. We are quite simply in love with the Rivendell and especially Nick and Aglaia (not to forget their 2 lovely dogs). They cannot do enough for people. They are so hard working, so good humoured and so funny. Nick kept everyone entertained on a number of occasions playing the bouzouki and singing during dinner honouring everyone with his presence and loveliness! We so needed a relaxing holiday which we certainly had and we have also made friends for life. There is no doubt that we will be returning to the Rivendell as soon as we possibly can. We were lost and you found us, love you guys.

Der Zimmerservice ist nicht gut, aber jedes Mal wird 3.5 Euro geholt. Also ist es besser, ein bisschen mehr in den Kühlschrank zu setzen 😂 Umgebung: Das Hotel ist sehr groß und es gibt ein eigenes Resortzimmer, und die grüne Fläche ist auch groß. Die geografische Lage ist auch gut von der alten Stadt nahe, die Tür ist mit einem Tourbus und einem Bus im Zentrum der Stadt 1.7 Ein europäischer Mensch, der in das Stadtzentrum ist bequem zu gehen. Es gibt zwei gute Bars und Restaurants, die nicht gerne Hotels essen wollen, können Sie auch hier essen. Es gibt einen kleinen Bequemlichkeitsgeschäft an der Tür und ist auch bequem zu kaufen. Die Seafront Apartments sind sehr schön direkt am Wasser gelegen und mit einem Steg ausgestattet. Zum Baden sollte man allerdings eher zum Sandstrand, der in 5-7 min zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Sowohl Strand, als auch Stadt waren anfang Oktober sehr leer und dennoch hatten viele Restaurants auf. Die Gastgeber der Apartments sind sehr nett und fuhren uns am Abfahrtstag aufgrund eines Gewitters sogar zum Busbahnhof. Außerdem begrüßte deren Hund Sila uns jeden Tag sehr freudig! Die Zimmer sind angenehm groß, haben ein recht kleines Bad und eine Kochnische mit wenig Ausstattung- für ein Frühstück und Nudeln reicht es allerdings vollkommen aus. Man sollte sowieso lieber in die nahegelegenen tollen Restaurants gehen (zb. Roussos und Desperados). Von Party, Betrunkenen und lauter Musik kriegt man von den Apartments nichts mit. Unser 7-tägiger Aufenthalt war tadellos und wir kamen gut ohne Auto zurecht. Eine 1 1/2 stündige Busfahrt bringt einen nach Korfu-Stadt, ansonsten lässt es sich auch bei jedem Wetter in den Seafront Apartments und Kavos aushalten. Danke an die Gastgeber!

Just like a lot of people, we have tasted most of the European destinations, Main Land and Islands and we have been to the Far East. Then we found the Louis Kerkyra Blue and we have made it the venue for all our summer holidays. Three Pools, Three Bars, Four Restaurants, Large Grounds and very nice views out to sea. The Hotel is run by a Super Management Team, assisted by a wonderful of team of Staff. They all give you a warm welcome, they are all eager to engage and they all have a common goal, which is to give every Guest the holiday they desire. In September 2022 we were given the opportunity to inspect two rooms which had been renovated prior to the promotion photos were taken. Later Mr Antonis, the Manager, outlined the plans for renovations which would take place during the winter months. I questioned if the time scale for the programme was realistic. Antonis replied, he was very confident all the work would be completed in 6 months, all the material had been purchased and it was already on the Island. On our return in June 2023, Antonis was right and I was wrong. Wow Wow, 240 Bedrooms were completely redesigned. All the furniture has been replaced, plenty of sockets, LED lighting, new TVs, drink machines and mini bar. The baths have been replaced with Walk in Showers. All the furniture and cooking equipment has been replaced and the Main Restaurant has been divided in to sections, which reduces the overall noise. There is also an Adult Section, inside and out on the veranda. The Greek Restaurant has been brought in to a section off the Main Restaurant. Outside, the Pavilion has also been reinvented, with new equipment, presentation and new furniture. There all four types of new Sun beds around the Pools and in the grounds, all relaxing. On our return June 2024, the second phase of the renovation had been completed. The Main Bar has been moved to back up on the Restaurant wall, also allowing more access from the main walkway down to the Restaurant and the Toilets. The Lounge area has also been re-arranged with different tables and chairs. The Main Bar Terrace has been extended and the roof now covers all the area. Evening Entertainment is offered on the Main Bar Terrace, The Pavilion and the Amphitheatre. Waiter Service is available at your table in the Restaurants, in the Bar and at your Sun beds. There is something for everyone.

Having booked this holiday on a whim with TUI and then looking at the hotel location and local amenities on Google maps, I was considering cancelling this holiday before ever leaving, it also started badly when our transfer bus pulled up on the main road and the driver pointed to a unmade lane across the road and said “your hotel is that way.” I complained to Carl the TUI rep about the 150m walk in heat, managing 2 big cases as my wife requires a stick to walk, Our TUI rep was great and our issue was very soon resolved. From the outset the hotel was pretty good, Giota on reception with her friendly smile and very helpful manner soon putting us at ease. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the pool, it was immaculately clean with a huge double bed and quite spacious. Breakfast was almost everything you could wish for, whatever you might want in a breakfast it was there and being buffet style, there was plenty of it. Dinner likewise was buffet style, but it lacked a little in variation and quality but in general it was overall good. The dining room staff were excellent both Dimitris and Vasilikl being both very friendly and attentive, we exchanged many jokes and enjoyed their company. We did spend a lot of time by the pool, soaking up the sun and then cooling off in that ageing but lovely pool. Alexandros, who managed the pool bar among many, many other things, a true grafter and was again very friendly and helpful. In fact, it was the amazing staff that made our stay so wonderful. We visited the local beach several times, my wife on a walking stick and security at the Ikos being mildly aggressive should you cross their line in the sand, a tip is to walk up to the quad hire place and walk down the lane making sure that you turn left along the beach at the bottom. However the beach wasn't for us, being too crowded and to much activity going on. BTW, a trip into old Corfu town is essential, we did it several times and were never disappointed. Wir haben unlängst eine Reise nach Paloma Blanca spontan reserviert und es erschien eine fantastische Entscheidung. Das Hotel ist günstig in der Nähe des Flughafens, nur 15 Minuten entfernt. Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft von Martina herzlich willkommen, die schnell zu unserer GO-to-person für Empfehlungen und Beratung während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts geworden ist. Wir empfehlen sehr, Martina auf den besten Orten zu besuchen, um auf der Insel zu besuchen. Jede Empfehlung, die sie uns gegeben hat, war fantastisch, und dank ihr konnten wir das Beste erleben, das Korfu bietet. Um die Insel mit Leichtigkeit zu erkunden, haben wir einen Scooter vermietet, der sich als idealer Transportmittel erwiesen hat. Das Poolgebiet im Hotel ist wirklich wunderschön, und es ist es wert, die außergewöhnliche Service von Billy und dem Rest des Personals zu erwähnen. Sie gingen oben und weiter, um unser Glück zu gewährleisten und uns gut hydriert während unserer Zeit dort.
