Wunderschöne sehr gepflegte Anlage, sauber und schön angelegt. Frisches Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Anbau. Ausreichend Liegen an Pool und Strand. Zimmer: Wir hatten ein nicht renoviertes Zimmer, schade. An den Türen und Schränken, sowie in der Badewanne ( keine eigene Dusche) leider sehr starke Gebrauchsspuren sichtbar. Es war aber alles immer sehr sauber. Was mich ein wenig geärgert hat, Gläser waren vorhanden aber kein Wasser, nicht mal am Anreisetag. Kein Wasserkocher für sich morgens mal einen schnellen Kaffee oder Tee zu machen, gehört für mich eigentlich inzwischen zum Standard in einem Hotelzimmer. Das Personal im gesamten Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ausreichend, also sollte auch jeder was finden. Geschmacklich alles gut. Getränke ( ein großes Bier) 5 Euro, finde ich persönlich teuer, Weine und Cocktails auch. War aber generell auf der ganzen Insel nicht wirklich günstiger. Ein kleines Örtchen mit vielen Tavernen und Bars ist fußläufig in 5 Min zu erreichen. Alles in Allem ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub.

I really liked this hotel. wholeheartedly I believe it is the people that make out a place and this is exactly the case. Very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate every single request. I was charmed by the island as well, but staying here has it perks. You can serve drinks while looking at the sunset and the water in front of the hotel. I enjoyed the cocktails and the sandwiches here. One night we had a trumpet guy playing here. It was so elegant and pleasant. However, if you are looking for the greek live music, you can walk to the restaurants nearby. Breakfast at Angelica Hotel came with the room and it was simple, yet delicious. Eggs, yoghurt, charcuterie and cheeses, freshly cut fruits, cereals and a wide range of local pastries. Those pastries are divine. My husband preferred the coffee from the bar instead of the one from the breakfast. But i guess it is a matter of taste. I love the cappuccino made by the machine. Regarding the room . It is big with an amazing balcony. We are staying on the 1st floor facing the water. The room has windows blinds and outside another set of blinders so it is perfect for keeping the heat out. You have toiletries and a fridge, but you do not have an iron or kettle in the room. For families with little one, you will definitely love this hotel as you have an entire amusement park right across the hotel. The little ones will be busy for awhile. You have parking spaces in front of the hotel, but also a parking lot a few meters away. It is very convenient if you travel by car. All in all, we will definitely return here as our baby grows. As improvements perhaps, if we may suggest, having a laundry service for those staying here more than a week it will be a blessing. Also, a kettle in the room as well as iron board and iron. The movement detector for the Ac it defers it purpose as it stops if you are not moving, even at night, but that didn’t prevent us from having a great time here. Thank you and see you all soon.

Ein tolles Hotel! Sehr sauber! Alles war neu, die Zimmer sind gross genung und steilisch möbeliert. Strand ist nah- ca.100m. Frühstück war auch genug mit alles was man halt in der Früh braucht, um ein gutes Start in dem Tag zu haben. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch freundlich und immer nett. Ich würde wieder hier ein Urlaub plannen.

Ein schöner Ort, nur intelligente Menschen konnten den großartigen Geschmack wirklich zu schätzen wissen. Byzantinischer Stil, ein echtes architektonisches Juwel. Schöne traditionelle griechische Fernsehsender, die farbigen Glaswände sind atemberaubend. Sie könnten sogar die Farbe der Wände ändern, wenn Sie wollten! Tadellos sauber, täglicher Zimmerservice. Wir waren überrascht, dass alle unsere Laken knusprig, weiß und gut riechend waren. Das Personal ist sehr reaktionsschnell und lächelt viel. Die beste Wahl, wenn Sie eine raffinierte Seele sind. Besonders gut hat mir der Strand gefallen: sehr nah, sauber, der Sand ist fein, der Einstieg ins Wasser ist glatt.

Hotelanlage: Moderner Profanbau, kein Lokalkolorit. Könnte überall auf der Welt stehen. Die schönen Gartenanlagen werden während des Tages, teilweise mit lauten benzingetriebenen Werkzeugen, gepflegt. Das Management könnte sich überlegen, diese Arbeiten zu Zeiten durchführen zu lassen, zu denen nicht alle Gäste am Strand oder Pool liegen und maximal gestört werden. Randzeiten wie z.B. 16:30/ 17:00 wären sowohl für die Gäste, wie auch für die Mitarbeiter, die sonst hier bei Mittagshitze arbeiten müssen, eine Lösungsmöglichkeit. (3/5*) Zimmer: Ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber sehr klein. Man hat kaum Platz sein Reisegepäck abzustellen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Whirlpool. Die Aussicht ging leider zum Parkplatz! Unschön! Die durchsichtige Glasbalustrade liess keine Privatsphäre zu. Hier würde eine „blinde/ milchige“ Glasscheibe helfen. Das innen liegende Bad verfügt über ausreichend Ablagefläche und wird durch die Klimaanlage gut belüftet. (3/5*) Strand: Schöner Strand, fast privat. Nur wenige nicht Hotelgäste kommen hier her. Ausflugsboote gehen regelmässig hier vor Anker. (5/5*) Pool: Ok. Bei dem unprofessionell verlegten Holzdeck um die Poolanlage und das Poolrestaurant sollte man vorsichtig sein, sich nicht zu verletzen. Hier empfiehlt sich eine professionelle Renovierung! (4/5*) Leider hat sich auch hier die Unsitte eingebürgert, dass - obwohl fast jeder in der heutigen Zeit ein Smartphone und entsprechende Ohrhörer besitzt, um Musik zu hören - der Poolbereich mit Musik beschallt wird. In der heutigen Zeit werden die Menschen 24 Stunden am Tag beschallt, man scheint Angst vor den eigenen Gedanken zu haben…. . Restaurant/ Speisen: Die Auswahl der Speisen ist leider eher international ausgerichtet. Dieses Angebot lässt sich fast überall auf der Welt finden. Griechische Spezialitäten sucht man vergebens. Damit sind nicht Gyros, Souflaki & Co. gemeint, sondern zum Beispiel ein Auberginensalat oder eine Moussaka. Der Koch versteht den Umgang mit den Produkten. Rib-eye Steak medium/ rare bestellt, kam dann auch m/r. Allerdings nur wenig bis keine Auswahl bei Allergien! Das Personal reagiert sehr unflexibel bei der Änderung von Speisen wegen Unverträglichkeiten. Die Preise sind ambitioniert oder sogar überteuert. Z.B. lokales Bier (Mythos) 0,33l für € 7,-, lokales Mineralwasser (Sprudel) 0,7l für € 8,-. Das Frühstückbuffet ist ausreichend. Keine Überraschungen. Insgesamt (3/5*) Restaurant/ Service: zeigt sich bemüht und freundlich, ist aber untrainiert! Man wird mehrfach hintereinander nach der Zimmernummer gefragt, weil man sie wieder vergessen hat. Auch nach Bestellungen kommen entweder mehrfache Nachfragen oder die Speisen sind nicht mehr verfügbar und man solle sich etwas anderes aussuchen. Schwierig bei Unverträglichkeiten, da die Auswahl nicht gegeben ist. (3/5*) Spa: Die Massagen sind sehr professionell und gut. (5/5*) Der Service am Empfang ist sehr gut. (5/5*). I was about to cancel the reservation because i read the bad reviews, and i am so happy i did not! The place is so cute, the staff and /probably/ owners were so polite and attentive, we also had lunches at the restaurant. We were with a dog and we had the big suit with the ‘garden’ it was perfect for us because we could leave the dog anytime and be at the hotel beach, which personally was the best beach we found on Thasos, very chill, not many people. And yes to be objective, it is not luxuries and there are things that could be improved, and some of the other rooms need some renovation, but come on, if you want luxury go to Dubai. *Our room was renovated.

Reine Zimmer und die Lage war in der Dicke der Touristenaktion mit einem Strand direkt vorne. Wir blieben zwei Nächte.

Das Hotel war gut gelegen, nicht weit vom Zentrum des Dorfes entfernt. Die Suite war perfekt, ziemlich neu und groß genug mit einem schönen Balkon mit Meerblick. Das einzige, was wir nicht sehr mögen, ist der Pool, da es Barrieren um ihn herum hat. Andernfalls ist alles in Ordnung.

Four of us stayed for seven nights in mid-June 2024. Two adults and two sixteen-year-old lads. We arrived at the Hotel Bonanza at around 12.30 am. The man on reception was very friendly and put us at ease. We were given a packed lunch each and told we were staying at Canarife Palace a bit further down the road. The packed lunch consisted of a slice of ham and cheese between two slices of dried bread, an apple, a bottle of water, and a packet of biscuits. The biscuits were nice! The Hotel Bonanza reception area was very clean and modern. This filled us with hope. We arrived at Canarife and were met with another friendly member of staff. Again, the reception area was spacious, clean and modern. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony view looking over the pool areas. The room made me feel a bit like a time traveler, going from modern, white surroundings into a room that gave off a look and aroma of the 1970s. We had a large bed, solid and comfy so no complaints there. We had read many reviews about bed bugs before coming so we stripped the covers back to inspect. Thankfully no sign of any. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom with shower/bath. The shower gave off enough power and heat. The small fridge was not working with a smell of what I can only describe as the smell of death that had been trapped in a Tupperware tub! Never to be opened again for the rest of the stay! We did have a few bed bugs throughout the week, but nothing to get hysterical about, and an understanding we are in a hot country so bugs are always going to be inevitable. I did not see one cockroach or any other unwelcome visitor throughout the week. The food became a bit repetitive after the first two days. Again, this is likely to be us being a bit fussy, well one of the lads was certainly that! There is not much order when it comes to the layout, but I didn’t find it too stressful. I think we accepted that early on not all nations share the British etiquette when it comes to lining up or waiting turns. The entertainment was a mixture of female Vic Reeves style club singer on a Sunday night to a party for the kids with some heavy dance music with a bit of effing and jeffing. The daytime entertainment isn’t exactly enthralling, and to be honest, it seems to be targeted at other Nationalities rather than the Brits. Having said that, I felt all the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. The surrounding area is pretty good with plenty of shops, bars, and places to eat on the road outside the hotel. The main town and beach are a bit of a trek, but well worth doing, especially going downhill. I would advise an iron lung on standby for the walk back up. Overall, I would rate the Blue Sea Resort (Canarife Palace) 7/10.
