Conveniently located across the train station, this hotel was a great base to explore Strasbourg and Colmar during Christmas. Check-in was super quick, and the front desk staff was very attentive and answered any questions we had. COVID-19 protocols were strict, which was very positive. The room was a standard IBIS room, so nothing spectacular to write about, but still served its purpose and didn’t come with any surprises. Check-out was again fast, and walking across the street to get on our train for our next destination was priceless.

Seul point positif de cet hôtel : un accueil très sympathique aussi bien le jour que la nuit. Sinon : Chambres vieillottes, sans double vitrage alors que situé contre une rocade. Évitez les chambres finissant par 13 à 17. La serrure électronique de ma chambre ne fonctionnant pas, malgré un signalement fait, n’a jamais été réparée. Il a fallu qu’à chaque fois la personne de la réception vienne m’ouvrir avec sa clé. Pratique… Certains oreillers et matelas sont complètement défoncés. L’état des meubles n’est visiblement pas une priorité. Des collègues ont eu des cafards dans leur chambre, certains ont éprouvé d’immense difficultés à passer du mode « robinet » au mode « douche » via le sélecteur qu’il fallait soulever. Il y a même eu une chambre avec impossibilité de passer en mode douche. Pas très sympa quand on rentre d’une immense journée de travail à minuit. Mes WC étaient sales (cf. photo) et l’attache de la lunette des toilettes était cassée. Quant au petit-déjeuner, c’est minimaliste et de qualité assez moyenne. J’ai eu de la chance d’avoir des baguettes le premier matin, puis seulement des tout petits pains décongelés les deux suivant (à 8h du matin). Un seul choix de thé : du Lipton jaune bas de gamme. Enfin, c’est peu plaisant d’être réveillé dès potron-minet par l’équipe de jardiniers faisant usage avec force de leurs outils bruyants tels que coupe-haie, souffleur et autre tondeuse.

Wir waren 4 Tage in Straßburg im Hotel Villa d‘Est und können nur positive Berichten. Man wurde sehr freundlich Empfangen, bekam Informationen zur Lage des Hotels (Stadtplan) und der Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer / Superior war von der Größe in Ordnung, alles sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet, das Badezimmer modern und ebenfalls sehr sauber, es wurde täglich gereinigt. Außerdem hatte man die Möglichkeit sich Kaffee bzw. Tee aufzuschütten. Als kleine Anmerkung, uns fehlte ein Garderobenhalter für die Jacke / Mantel Das Frühstück muss ebenfalls positiv erwähnt werden, das Büfett war reichhaltig, es wurde alles ständig aufgefüllt, die Getränkeauswahl vollkommend ausreichend. Ein ganz besonders Lob muss dem überaus freundlichem, mehrsprachigen Personal ausgesprochen werden. Für uns war alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit und können das Hotel Villa d‘Est ohne bedenken weiterempfehlen. Wir sagen, Danke und wünschen Ihnen alles Gute.

Gut gelegenes Hotel in der Nähe vom Stadtzentrum. Parkhaus ist direkt im Nachbargebäude und nicht direkt mit dem Hotel verbunden. Eine Nacht im Parkhaus kostete 13€ extra. Der Empfang war nett und höflich. Wir konnten das Zimmer bereits um 12 Uhr anstatt 14 Uhr beziehen. Das Familienzimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Beistellbett ist für Kinder ausreichend. Wenn Erwachsene darauf schlafen sollen, wird es unbequem. Die Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung, leider waren lange schwarze Haare auf dem frisch bezogenen Bett. Das kann passieren, aber ist halt nicht optimal. Bis in die Altstadt braucht man zu Fuß ca. 20 Minuten und man ist mittendrin. Beim Frühstück war es leider so, das man am Wochenende etwas Zeit mitbringen muss. Der vorhandene Platz ist bei guter Auslastung des Hotels knapp bemessen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist dieses Hotel sehr empfehlenswert.

Billiges Hotel für die wenige Leistung, die er bietet. 60€ das Zimmer via booking.com ansonsten auf Platz 75€ ohne Frühstück. Mitten im Zimmer, weil es keine Elektrizität in der Nähe des Betts gibt, um das Telefon in der Nacht zu laden. Trotz aller guten Bettwäsche. Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Ansichten war mein Zimmer auf der Straße und es war relativ ruhig, vielleicht weil wir einen Sonntag Abend waren. Ich war am Wochenende in Straßburg und suchte ein Hotel mit einem Flugzeug zum Flughafen, und das war der einzige, den die Websites angaben. Während schließlich nach den Wanderungen in der Stadt gibt es andere in der Nähe der SNCF-Bahnhof, denn zum Flughafen genügt es nur ein Zugticket zu 2.50 €
