Nach Saariselkä wollten wir auf dem Rückweg auch noch Helsinki sehen und entschieden uns für dieses Traumhotel. Zimmerwünsche wurden bereits im Vorfeld ausnahmslos bestätigt und erfüllt. Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft aller Service-Fachkräfte war so unglaublich, dass einem manchmal die Worte fehlen. Hier hat man das Gefühl, die Menschen lieben ihren Job. Die Lage ist glaube ich nicht zu toppen alles zu Fuß erkundet, die Lobby und der Frühstücksraum sind so beeindruckend gestaltet, dass man direkt dort leben möchte. Wir fanden es auf jeden Fall so schön, ich war schon in sehr vielen Hotels aber das war eines der Schönsten. TOP Weiterempfehlung!!! Danke nochmal für die schöne Zeit.

Located just a few blocks from the main esplanade, this boutique hotel offers a quiet location near most of the top sights for tourists. Walking is mostly flat and navigating around is easy. Reception staff are friendly! Rooms are a nice size, with good beds and linens. Wi-Fi is fast, and the tub/shower combo wet room in the bath works well without fussy knobs. Daily housekeeping if you want it. For Titanium elite members, you can choose the breakfast buffet as your option instead of points since there’s no concierge lounge here. Great choice with some regional dishes, such as the rice porridge rye pastry. You need to try them! Staff here are friendly, too. For shopping, check out Taito on the corner two blocks away as you reach the esplanade. They have curated a nice selection of upscale handmade woolens, household goods, pottery, jewelry and clothing. Finnish designer Tuula Rossi has her gorgeous luxury outerwear here-worth a visit if you like supporting local artists. Marimekko, Karl Fazer chocolates and other great shops are right off the Esplanade as well. Be sure to enjoy the sculptures as you stroll! The small old market food hall nearby is clean with mostly stalls selling food, but the harbor’s Kauppatori market tents also have food vendors and both local crafts and knick-knack booths. Das Hotel liegt nicht im Stadtzentrum, aber es dauert mehr als 20 Minuten mit dem Bus, gegenüber liegt der Wald. Das Zimmer befindet sich im ersten Stock, die Fenster können verschlossen werden, es gibt keinen Wasserkocher, es kann an der Rezeption ausgeliehen werden, das Zimmer ist nicht groß, der Warmwasserbereiter ist möglicherweise nicht die herkömmliche Methode zum Öffnen und Schließen, daher weiß ich nicht, ob das Telefon nachts hereinkam und fragte, ob ich die Nummer der Rezeption kenne Ist das nicht so, weil sie diesen Warmwasserbereiter nicht benutzen ... Das Frühstück ist gut und die Sonne ist reichlich.

Newly renovated hotel with all the essentials for couple of days into the city. The location would be biggest high flight due to being so close of the train station and shopping centers/museums, etc. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very good and the service of the staff amazing. The bed was very comfortable and took features very modern.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Es gibt eine Straßenbahn an der Tür. Das Zimmer wurde im Gefängnis wieder aufgebaut. Viele berühmte Gefangene wurden festgenommen. Das Hotel verkauft auch periphere Waren! Wichtig! Achten Sie darauf, zu frühstücken. Das Frühstück war ein Chaos.

Vollautomatisch haha, es gibt viele solcher unbemannten Wohnungen in Finnland. Ich mag sie, besonders die Aufzüge. Die Türen sind herausgezogen. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr gestaltet. Die Lage ist abgelegen. Nehmen Sie für eine Weile die U-Bahn in die Innenstadt

Das Hotel liegt optimal in der Nähe einer Tramhaltestelle. In die City und zum Westhafen sind es jeweils nur ein paar Fahrtminuten. Das Hotel ist modern und sauber, der Bettenkomfort ist ausbaufähig. Im Frühstücksraum hatte es 2x zu wenig Personal, gebrauchtes Geschirr türmte sich auf den Tischen.

The Aalto Inn is great for a long-term stay but a nightmare for just a few days. It is NOT a hotel! There is no reception, no restaurant, no bar, no pool, no nothing! No shower soap or shampoo, no amenities. Nobody cleans it each day, and the towels and sheets you start with are the only ones you'll get! But the rooms are large and clean, with a decent kitchen with microwave, fridge, coffee pot, water cooker, utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. Good apartment, not a hotel. You MUST make sure that you get the emailed instructions before hand. These include a punch code to get in the front door and extract your room key from a weird device on the wall. Since I booked through a third-party website those did not arrive. I was literally standing outside in the snow, with no way to get in and nobody to call. Eventually another guest let me in and somehow we found a number to call, and I got into my room - after an hour! Another thing separating Aalto from a real hotel - you must clean up yourself, before you leave. Do the dishes and take out the trash - yes mommy.... But otherwise, pretty good! BTW, walk across the bridge to Min Sushi - wonderful!

Entspannen Sie sich auf dem großen Balkon draußen, die Begeisterung für die Gäste ist auch sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und der Preis ist auch sehr hoch. In der Region der Skandinavien ist es am besten, gut zu essen, während das Frühstück im Hotel. Das Hotel in Finnland sagt in der Regel nur ein Problem, aber unter der Tür ist leer, also zuerst und die Füße unbewusst außerhalb der Tür zu halten, und sie zerschmettert. Die Wäsche mit dem Wäscheschrank ist besser draußen im Wäscheraum zu waschen.
