GGuest UserAusgezeichnetes Stadtreisehotel. Nichts besonderes oder zu luxuriös, aber sehr gut für den Preis und sehr freundliches Personal. Ich würde 4 Sterne anstelle von 5 geben, aber ich wollte die (imo) unverdiente 1 Sterne Rating eines unzufriedenen früheren Gäste, weil es keinen Safe im Zimmer hat, kompensieren. Mehrwertsteuer, Frühstück ist auch sehr gut!

IizzymengThe hotel is located right in the centre of the old town of Aarhus, a stone throw from the Domkirke. There is no off-street parking available but you could always use the Navitas car park or even the amazing Dokk1 Parkering in the docks. The handsome stucco façade stands out in the locality and the owners took great care in tastefully decorating the interior of the building, that includes its historical elevator, wall paintings and the reception area. Therefore, it’s a bit of shame that the same has not been extended to ensure the comfort of its guests. Our Standard Room was overlooking the main square but it was rather dark and not very spacious, with a classic décor. The lighting was limited with the main switch not working – side lights had to be turned on individually. There was precious little storage space as only about a third of the wardrobe was available and no other appropriate closets/drawers around. There was a rather high step between the bedroom and bathroom, just ideal for tripping on, in the dark! The bed was quite uncomfortable, with a very thin foam mattress and topped with a smallish duvet. The TV set was on the side of the bed (!) and programmes were only available if you had a suitably tuned smartphone device. We’re all for the options being offered to tech-savvy travellers but surely there has to be easier access for those guests who are less clued-in? The bathroom was of standard size, with a walk-in shower. The hairdryer had to be plugged in by the mirror, above the bathroom sink (there was literally nowhere else to do so, with a mirror!), so not quite sure about the safety aspect of such an arrangement. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. There was a safe-box but it was not working despite the valiant efforts of one of the receptionist. WiFi signal was good. Tea and coffee facilities were offered as well as a frugally stocked minibar. No free water was available. The breakfast was quite limited with a minimal selection of cold dishes and even less cooked food, available. The bread was very tasty. The hotel doesn’t provide dinners. The staff in the reception and the breakfast room were very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. They couldn’t do enough for us and always responded with a smile. Overall, it felt like the hotel has lots of potential although lots of that seems to have been squandered on half-baked ideas. Good enough to stay in as long as you don’t expect fireworks.

AAnonymer BenutzerDie Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend und der Verkehr ist bequem, sehr nahe vom Bahnhof Ohous und die Umgebung ist auch sehr gut und die Zimmer hygienisch sehr gut. Der Rezeption-Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ist auch reichhaltig, es lohnt sich zu empfehlen und hat die Möglichkeit, zu bleiben.

GGastnutzer來奧胡斯出差，性價比不錯的酒店，衞生條件湊合。自助入離很方便，負一樓有寄存行李的密碼櫃方便退房後當天存行李。
不足的地方是，住二樓，樓下就是公交站有些吵。距離最近的 711 大概要步行十分鐘。旁邊有一個 24 小時無人便利店，但國外旅客比較難進。

We stayed at Kings Garden 1 in August. The location is on the top floor of an office building, and it is obvious the unit was renovated from a previous office space. Their listing specifically boasts an elevator available to use for a 4th floor unit. When we arrived, the elevator was not working. When we entered the unit, the floors were still completely wet from mopping. The kitchen area is an afterthought, with lack of storage space and items such as a cutting board or drying rack. There is no AC so we left windows open to keep the apartment cool, but there is a LOT of noise at night. However, one night there was a party next door in Daniel & Jacobs adjacent apartment, Kings Garden 2, that lasted from 11pm through the next morning past 10am. We could not sleep all night due to the loud music and noise from the party. When we contacted their email reception, which they claim is the fastest way to receive a response in 30 minutes, we did not hear back for over 3 hours. Then, when I finally heard back, I was given a security phone number to call for a complaint instead and they would not provide any assistance. We never received any follow up until I asked, and found out they did kick out the neighboring guests in THEIR apartment. This took multiple back and forth emails. They were not apologetic and would not issue a partial refund for the terrible night we had. Absolutely terrible customer service given the price of their units. Do not stay in any of their units if you want any sort of hospitality.

HHorst SHerrausragende Lage am Strand mit direktem Zugang für lange Stranwanderungen. Nicht weit bis zum Badesteg... Selbst bei Sturm: Man blickt auf die tosende See wie im Breitwand-Kino. Sehr freundliches Personal. Parkplatz am Hotel nicht billig, aber auch gratis Plätze an der Straße vorhanden. Ausstattung der Zimmer OK, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück vollkommen OK, von Obst über laktosefreie Milch bis zum Pfannkuchen alles, was das Herz begehrt. Das Hotel hat viele Zimmer, in der Hochsaison (oder bei Tagungen) kann es im (großen) Frühstücksraum hoch her gehen und man wird kaum einen Platz am Fenster mit Blick aufs Meer bekommen, Ende Oktober aber alles bestens.

YYANDer Flug hatte Verspätung, das Hotel kam früh am Morgen an und die Rezeption war nett. Da ich 2 große Kisten gezogen habe, war es sehr heiß und rot, deshalb habe ich speziell einen kleinen Ventilator ins Zimmer gebracht, da das dänische Hotel keine Klimaanlage hat!

GGastnutzerIch habe mit meinem Mann zwei Tage in dieser Wohnung gearbeitet, und ich habe sie zuerst für den Preis gewählt, nicht für den Preis, sondern zumindest für den Preis. Die Lage ist ideal, nahe dem Zentrum, der Duomo, der Hauptstraße und die Längsflossen, alles ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen, einschließlich der Bahnhof. Wir hatten ein Einzelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, ein kleiner, aber gut ausgenutzter Raum, es gab alles, was nötig war, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Ein wenig bestraft, dass man nicht mit dem, der die Struktur verwaltet, nur per E-Mail kontaktiert hat, niemand hat uns aufgenommen (uns haben sie einen Code für die Kassette mit den Schlüsseln geschickt) und niemand hat uns gegrüßt (und somit konnten zum Beispiel nicht mehr Gepäck am Tag der Abreise verlassen werden)

GGastnutzerDefinitely mixed feelings about this one. On the positive side: It’s affordable and very well located in the city, near to everything and anything one might wish. There is quite well equipped kitchen space and the common areas are alright for sure. But my first impression wasn’t the greatest ; the room I got access to looked absolutely nothing like it was advertised, the bunk bed didn’t have curtains and there was no space for storage, it was just bunk beds in a cramped room . I was sure some mistake must have been made so I went back to the service desk letting the receptionist know that this wasn’t what I had booked. And that I wasn’t comfortable in a shared room without privacy curtains for the bed. They didn’t argue with me but didn’t offer any explanation or excuse, just gave me a new card key and told me to go to another floor. The new room looked more like it was advertised but it felt like nobody had opened a window in a while, it was messy, small and had an unpleasant smell. All bunk beds were occupied except two. When I looked up at my designated bed ; it didn’t have a curtain. I go back to the service desk a second time saying that my bunk bed did not have a curtain. This time the receptionist was apologetic but tinted with annoyance. They followed me up to show me the 3rd room to see “if this fits”. They opened the room and to my surprise it was more spacious, all bunk beds had curtains and there was only one other person staying in room. I accepted but still wondered why I wasn’t offered this the first time - highlighting the importance of privacy, then offering yet another room without it a the second time. All while this third room was available. It felt a bit weird and unwelcoming. The whole hostel has an unpleasant odour coming from what I’m guessing is the sewers since the smell is really bad in all bathrooms and showers. The general cleanliness isn’t the greatest either. I think staying here for maximum one night or two on the go is probably fine if you’re young and backpacking. But in my case; I will definitely book something else if I come visit Århus again.
