Zuerst in diesem Resort bleiben und so glücklich wir es getan haben. Wir hatten Strandfront Bungalow - Große Decke mit Stühlen, nur Schritte vom Lagune. Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Sehr komfortables Bett (König), großes Badezimmer und eine Außendusche mit Kleidung aus dem Rücken. Einchecken war ein Brise, Parkplatz vorne für die Mietwagen. Sie haben filtriertes Wasser im Zimmer und Sie können bei der Bar zurückfüllen - füllen Sie alle Flaschen, die Sie für die Tagesaktivitäten mitnehmen (Sie haben sogar Flaschen im Kühlschrank gelagert, während wir Frühstück hatten, das sehr geschätzt wurde) Wir haben das Tropical Frühstück gewählt, das Tee/Kaffee, Saft, Obst, ein anderes kleines Behandlungsmittel wie eine Kuchen oder Chiche etc., Getreide und Toast umfasst. (Großes Frühstück) Sie können für das gekochte Frühstück bezahlen und wir haben das am letzten Tag getan - schön. Verwendung von Kayaks, Schnorchelgewebe usw. und auch Reef Schuhe auf Anfrage. Am ersten Abend haben wir uns für ein Abendessen im Restaurant entschieden - es war ein stand-out, bestes Essen der Reise. Char-Grilled Rib Eye Fillet mit Gemüse, nur unglaublich lecker!! Sehr gute Auswahl an Weinen, Cocktails usw. Auch gute Auswahl an Filmen. Personal war fabulös. Nur ein kleiner Hiccup war aus, saß für 20 Minuten, wartete auf eine Auscheckung, am Ende, weil wir einen Flug zu fangen hatten, wir mussten eigentlich wieder gehen und jemanden bitten, es dringend zu tun - ich bin mir nicht sicher, was die Haltestelle war, Es gab keine Check-out in unserem damals, vielleicht gibt es eine bestimmte Person, die es normalerweise tut und sie waren nicht auf der Website? Würde definitiv empfehlen, die Ansicht ist fabulös von Ihrem Deck - es ist eine Oase. Diese Boutique-Hotels haben mich überwunden - weniger Leute, nur so entspannend. Danke für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt.

We stayed at the Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel in late January on our visit to Rarotonga. This was our fourth trip to the Cook Islands and we’ve tried various accommodations to date, including two rental properties and another resort villas property within the island. Note Moana Sands Group has three properties on the island thus is the source of confusion for many reviews on TripAdvisor. We selected the Beachfront Hotel (believe it was the oldest property of the bunch) due to its ideal location beachfront on the reef for snorkelling. Upon booking the resort, it is important to note that those who have rental vehicles with flights arriving after-hours are still required to pay for a one-way shuttle for one person so the attendee can let you into your rooms. After further discussing with the property manager, you can elect to follow the transport or have one person join the shuttle. The driver from Kai Mani transport was efficient, friendly, greeted us with beautiful leis upon arrival, and waited on us while we sorted out our rental – they are an excellent transport provider. All hotel staff we interacted with during our stay were helpful and friendly. We elected for the deluxe suites on the third floor. The room itself is spacious and includes basic amenities in a mini-kitchenette of sorts (basic small appliances, utensils, mini-fridge). The room did show its age however, and during our stay we noticed the first- and second- floor rooms albeit smaller appeared to have recent renovations. We also found the air conditioner had serious challenges keeping up pace with the warm summer weather. We booked the property with the AC feature as a need to keep us cool, but the vaulted ceiling created more room volume/space to cool. Be aware as with any property in the tropics, that bugs/insects are abundant anywhere and some basic tips help keep them away from your room (keep food in fridge not on counter, clean up crumbs after eating, etc.) The option for a breakfast is a convenient way to start the day, but do note that there were few changes to selection during the course of our visit. Breakfast is continental variety, including fruits, teas/coffee/juices, breads, ham/cheese/veg, yogurt and cereals. During the last few days, we discovered a great way to make a toasted grilled sandwich – two slices of bread, buttered on the outside, with ham, cheese, tomato and onion, on the little George Foreman grill until golden brown. It really elevated the breakfast experience and is highly recommended. There is the option for grill breakfast items at extra cost should guests desire. The beachfront area was not busy during our stay, staff did their best to keep the area and sand nicely kept, and the property offers sports equipment for use. As avid snorkelers, we brought our own equipment and really enjoyed snorkelling the reef. In

Paradise! We found it! What a fabulous week spent in a beautiful and relaxing resort. Our room was right next to the pool and our boy loved swimming there, every day! The ocean was incredible of course, so pristine and so calm, we saw wonderful tropical fish snorkelling and just walking along the beach. We canoed as a family for the first time and explored an island, and saw a shipwreck on the other side - magical! Time truly slows down in the Cook Islands and even more so at this beautiful resort where everything is just so tranquil. The food was delicious, the kids menu perfect (no complaints!) and the staff are so friendly, they even learn your name. When can I go back??? :D

We can not tell you how much we loved every moment of our stay at the Muri Beach Club Hotel. From the beautiful beachfront room that we stayed in, to the most beautiful spot on the Muri Beach, the pool area, the restaurant, the food, the cocktails... absolutely everything was perfect! But just when you think that nothing could possibly outshine all of the above... something does! The staff!! They were just absolutely the most amazing beautiful humans, they knew our names and doted on us like we've never experienced before. I actually had leaky eyes when it came time to say goodbye to them, especially Jim the amazing man that kept the cocktails coming for us! And Rowena who always made sure we had a best breakfast ever and was well fuelled for the day... I could list every single staff member from the hotel but I really need to do some work so I can start saving for our next stay 😂

Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel. We were shown to our rooms which faced towards the lagoon. The view was beautiful with the sounds of the ocean breaking on the reef in the distance. If you are looking for a 'quiet' holiday then this is NOT the accommodation to book. You can hear every, I mean every sound from the rooms above through the floor, people wheeling suitcases, walking about, moving of table and chairs etc Rooms were clean but the bathroom area could have done with a little more money spent on it. It looks like they have started upgrading the shower area. The bedroom/living area looked as if the furniture had been given a minor upgrade. The kitchen had the bare minimum of utensils with no sharp knive(s) to be seen. The fridge was fairly new and a reasonable size. The room had a king-size bed (soft mattress) as well as a single bed. There were only two chairs around the small table. Outside sun lounges. Only 10 lounges available for the entire complex which consists of 17 units. Even at 50% room capacity for the units there should have been 16 lounges available ? Not everyone wants to sit on the sand. Only two sun umbrellas available for shade until the final few days of our stay when a third umbrella made a guest appearance otherwise it was first in first served to get any shade, including a few palm trees. Canoes tried the only double one and a single. Both filled with water which stopped us from taking full advantage of them. The BBQ was very clean but you had to take a knife from your room to turn it on and regulate the switches as they were rusted and didn't work. A shame as it was a beautiful area to cook and eat dinner. Resturant meals We had breakfast on site which was included in the accommodation as well as several evening dinners. Out of all the evening meals eaten out over our 10+ day stay these were ” the best evening meals ” eaten over our stay. Congratulations. The resturant staff were very friendly especially Ryan :) always had a smile & the service was excellent. You could only give them 10/10. The Chef 10/10. Maid service 10/10 very pleasant and always had a smile. Reception staff we came across could do with a little bit of up skilling but as the holiday progressed there was an improvement 7/10 !! The resturant is closed on Saturday for lunch & dinner as this was their day off. Charlie's was open and approx a 10min walk. Would i return to Moana Sands Beach Front Hotel --- Sorry no. PROS -- kitchen staff excellent beachfront & nice view good happy hour daily room service CONS -- thin floors between rooms and a bit noisy lack of sun umbrellas lack of sun lounges BBQ needs fixing or replacing Canoes need fixing reception staff could be more customer friendly.

GGuest UserWir blieben 12 Tage in Edgewater als Teil eines Urlaubs-/Arbeitsstudents und das war über alles, was wir erwartet hatten. Das Grundzimmer war perfekt für unsere Bedürfnisse mit großer Klimaanlage, die unverzichtbar und erfreulich tropische kontinentale Frühstücksbuffets ist. Wir hatten ein erstaunliches Zimmer, das im dritten Stock hinter dem Restaurant mit Blick auf den Pool, das Meer und wunderschöne Gärten von unserem Fenster und Balkon war. Das Personal war so groß, immer glücklich und konnte nicht mehr für uns tun, einschließlich sehen, wie wir um die Insel gehen und uns Fahrten in ihrem persönlichen Fahrzeug und in ihrer persönlichen Zeit geben. Wir haben das komplimentäre Schnorchelgerät gut genutzt und wir essen oft vom Restaurant und haben sicherlich die Bar viel verwendet. Im Spa gab es eine Massage, die glücklich und einfach zu buchen war. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen, ich glaube nicht, wir würden woanders bleiben! Spezialer Hinweis auf das Personal Ngaoa mit Reservierungen Hilfe und Gastfreundschaft Personal Veti, Jimmy, Mila und Aktivitäten Team. Mein einziger Negativ war, dass wir ein Zimmer hatten, das es an einem anderen angeschlossen scheinte, aber als jemand in diesem Zimmer war es überhaupt nicht klang und war sehr laut. Die Gäste, die zwei Nächte verbrachten, waren leider laut bis die wehe Stunden, so dass ich wach blieb. Glücklich war es nur für zwei Nächte und dann waren sie weg.

JJINGYUANDie Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, muss ein Zimmer mit Meerblick buchen, die Lagunenlandschaft ist hervorragend, nicht für Kinder geeignet, der Pool ist sehr klein, viele Steine am Strand sind keine Strände, die Lagune ist sehr flach Kinder können schnorcheln aber es gibt kein Fisch. Am Tag des Eincheckens teilte das Hotel mit, dass der Zimmerbereich mit Meerblick keine Kinder akzeptiert. Nach dem Ctrip-Kommunikationsshop ist es notwendig, in den Poolraum zu wechseln. Die Rezeption hat ein Zimmer mit Meerblick eingerichtet. Der Ablauf ist etwas unklar. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind relativ einfach und alt, das Restaurant ist nicht groß, die Gerichte sind nicht viel, das Frühstück ist einfach im westlichen Stil und es gibt Früchte wie Papaya und Orange. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant ist sehr freundlich. Die Autovermietung ist bequem und es ist bequem, einen Tagesausflug zu buchen. Rarotonga ist sehr klein. Es gibt zwei Busse im Uhrzeigersinn und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Das Hotel steigt am Eingang des Hotels ein und aus und man braucht ungefähr eine Stunde um die Insel herum. Zehn Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt hilft die Rezeption, ein Taxi zum Flughafen für 30 Dollar zu buchen. Das Hotel ist im Allgemeinen zufriedenstellend und wird einen Aufenthalt in Betracht ziehen.

I chose the islander based on location. right across from airport and close to shipping companies. i booked the room on a 3rd party website. check in was easy. room was very clean and a nice bathroom. plenty of hot water. to get on the wifi i had to go to the grocery store, 20 min walk. i think it was 25 NZD for 30GB and valid for 7 days. took a few tries but i got on. the hot spot is in the lobby but i had the range to get it in my room. breakfast was included, not buffet but off the menu. it was pretty good. the only downside is that it can be a little noisy from the bar and dining area. but by midnight its all quiet. not a deal breaker for me but it could bother some. staff was great and helpful i would stay again if i return to rarotonga

Avoid at all costs. This is honestly the worst hotel I can ever remember staying at. Think flea-bag motel that you rent by the hour (and, yes, my husband was covered with bug bites after less than a full nights sleep). The adult side of the resort is old and rundown. The poor excuse of a pool is dark even in the middle of the day because it's surrounded by the buildings. No view of the ocean at all. The beach is really pebbly sand with the only access being a boat ramp. There are no amenities on the adult side. No beach towels. No snorkeling equipment. Nothing. And you are only allocated one threadbare beach towel per person per room. The room was a shoe box of a room and very dark. the bathroom was so tiny only one person can physically be in there at a time. There are two lounge chairs per room but you can touch your neighbours chair by stretching out your arm. The lagoon right outside the adult area has a strong current so you need to bring your flippers or be a very strong swimmer. The adult restaurant is inside (with a sand floor to make you feel like you're on the beach. But you can't see the ocean. The food is barely edible and forget any kind of wine list. Staff across the property were rude, surly and generally ignored guests. Do not expect to get into your room before 3pm. We told them we'd be arriving at 10am from Aitutaki (and had to leave at midnight to return to NZ) and asked if we might get in earlier. When we arrived, we were told we could wait in a windowless ”guest” lounge that had hard settees and not much else. There was no access to secure storage for our items, no changing room to try to take advantage of the beach, nothing. We basically had to sit for 5 hours waiting for our room. Even at 3pm, we were refused access to a room and had to demand to see a supervisor (who magically found an available room immediately). The cab driver did warn us that this was the oldest and most rundown property on the island. Wish that person had posted here. I hope this helps others of you avoid this place.
