The room we stayed in was comfortable and welcoming, with a lot of nice 'creature comforts' added. Nespresso coffee machine/pods, bowls/plates, cutlery, microwave, toaster, bathroom extras. Fresh baked biscuits & some choccies on arrival. Fresh milk (Not UHT!) lots of pillows and more. Hosts were attentive. Had a minor medical issue - they were ready to assist, within their means (Thank you!)

It was all the little things that made our stay at the Sandbar Motel so special. The homemade welcome cookies waiting for us in our room, were delicious. Although no meals are provided by the motel, there were more than adequate supplies of crockery and cutlery (even chopsticks!). So we were able to take care of our own breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot. The location is good , so close to the beach and many great eating spots.

A modernised older style motel , well decorated with lots of special detail. Very comfortable room and small welcoming touches . Located on the edge of the lake with pleasant walking tracks nearby and an easy walk to cafes and restaurants Highly recommended.

Without a doubt the best service I've ever received from any accomodation. Super helpful when we needed to change the dates last minute and gave brilliant advice for the things to do in the area. Would recommend to absolute anyone! Great location and lovely people!

One of the nicest motels we have stayed in. The Manager, Santo was so helpful in suggesting places to eat etc. it was such a delight to open the door & see chocolates on the bed and as for those bed sheets, so cosy. Even the bathroom had a special hair towel. The added details to the room were just perfect and so clean.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location, an easy walk to bar & restaurants. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, and quiet for sleeping. A walkway across the road was lovely along the water. Reasonably-priced motel, we would be happy to stay again.

The room was quite large and the bed was quite comfy. Everything was clean. We judge motels by their A/C and this one worked well. We could make it cold enough to sleep. I really liked the shampoo and conditioner in the shower as well. The motel is close to the center of town and to the bridge to the beach so we walked everywhere.

The ladies that manage this place do an amazing job! The effort and thoughtfulness that they put into each room and the numerous things they provide, makes this a very comfortable and special place to stay. In a town with many motels, this is a stand out example for all the rest to aspire to.

Clean and comfortable. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice little touches with homemade cookies first day and cake the second day. Comfy king size bed and coffee pods supplied for morning coffee hit! Walking distance to restaurants and shops.
