I’ve stayed here a dozen times over 20 years, and my wife twice that many times. If you want a Hilton Hotel, go to Hilton; if you want Motel 6, this is far better. Everything is adequate, not elegant. Anything reasonable will likely be accommodated.

PLEASE READ. We stayed here while in town for a visit to Legoland & the Peppa Pig theme park. While this motel is close to these attractions, I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The first room (201) we were assigned, the toilet would not flush. We were moved to the next room (202). The fan in the bathroom was loud and the sheets were not clean. We were moved again. The final room we were moved to was a bigger room with bigger problems. Photos are from third room. Shower water would not get hot, just warm. Sink in master bedroom leaked which was very annoying. Towels in bathroom were dirty. Blinds were broken and missing in dd sliding door. I found a dead roach on the table behind the tv. Blankets were dirty. While the customer service was good the motel is very outdated. Cleaning service is poor and this motel needs repairs.

Family trip to investigate the area. The building is in need of repair. Crumbling mortar and peeling paint, unkempt gazebos and fence dirty pool broken chairs. Inside was advertised as kitchenette and had a very small microwave and mini fridge. There were 2 unmatching cups and spoons. It's older and has been neglected and needs more than just cleaning.

We visited Legoland to see the Halloween spectacular. I trusted a Tripadvisor review and booked three nights at Lake Roy Beach Inn. That's the worst decision ever. This place absolutely should be out of the business. The view is beautiful from dirty and ugly screen. However, rooms are dirty, unsanitary, and no service at all. Please stay away from this place. Older hotel but very clean. Has fish camp feel. Our group loved it. Approximately 40 of us. Plenty of room for the children to run and play. Pool was nice and the guys loved that they could step out their back door and fish. Most of the rooms have screened in porch with patio furniture. Plenty of pavilions, tables, and chairs to enjoy the beautiful lake and spending time together. No one wants to leave. Mr: Jimmy and Mrs. Susan are very nice and helpful. Will stay again.

Old but quaint! We visited this “inn” 30 years ago, and it looks exactly the same! Everything is old, from the furniture to the algae laden bricks by the pool. That being said, STAY HERE! It (and Winter Garden) are historic Florida at its best. The staff was friendly, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was clean. The pool was refreshing, and the view of the lake from our second story room was beautiful! At night, the little white lights adorning the palm trees give it a resort-style feel and my early morning poolside lounge made for a relaxing weekend. If you’re looking for the Marriott, drive on down the road, but I suggest you book your room at this little vintage gem!

I arrived late at night to check in. The lady that checked me in was very nice. However, this place is very old and not updated, not sure how it passes health inspections. I had to check in through a very small window. As I was checking in this feeling of unsafe kept through my body. I took the key and looked in the room. Very old musky smell was in the room. Not welcoming at all. It looked as if illegal activity took place in the room. I asked for a refund and left immediately.

The room was extremely dirty, the air conditioners had a smell like they had not been cleaned in a very long time; The refrigerator has mold along outside seal. tenants next door were smoking in bathroom which came right into our room. Very outdated; The pictures that they post are not what we experienced; ended up getting sick with a sinus infection and a virus. So disappointing. This was our second stay. We first stayed 3 years ago and it was a very clean facility. It looks as if they have not cleaned since we were there last. Will never stay there again as you can tell they do not care about the quality of the rooms
