Bluegreen Vacations Christmas Mountain Village, an Ascend Resort

While we do not own her yer utilize with RCI for over 25 years this location in December is superb. Our condo is great again my; our help via cell phone text worked wonderfully. The activities place was open and fun. The 7” of snow was removed well. Having family come over to visit us works out well. The two bar/restaurants have great servers. Why, we bern eon bingo 4 times! Keep it up. We will be back in Dec 2025. And this year the snow was great.

I also was disappointed that they charge $30 a day for using the amenities. I am an RCI member. I think after we are charged the exchange fee that should be enough. We enjoyed only the hot tub and no other amenities. Was disappointed for being this close to Christmas that it was not decorated more since it is CHRISTMAS MOUNTAIN.

Overall the resort provided a pleasant long weekend getaway for a family reunion. The resort is huge, so big that you have to drive to get to a pool and other amenities. The best feature of the resort (5⭐️) is the many activities and amenities for families with children. Also, the overall appearance of the resort is beautiful. The accommodations, while very clean inside & well laid out, are definitely showing signs of age, especially with exterior maintenance. Our townhome unit staircase, entry landing, and deck really needed a good sweeping. Also, the walls are thin; we could hear our neighbors stomping around at all hours. Staff are courteous, friendly and not overly pushy selling timeshares. We simply told them we were timeshare owners in a company based in Madrid, so they left us alone. One night our large group ordered meals from Mulligans, the restaurant on site. We all liked our meals. They were tasty & reasonably priced. The golf courses are well laid out, not too easy & not too hard. One of the highlights were the clean and well-maintained playgrounds and pools. The equipment is safe, the pools and hot tubs are scrupulously clean and well maintained. The little ones in our group really enjoyed them. Overall, we’d go back, hoping that exterior upkeep is improved.

I had a very frustrating experience during my recent stay. Security came by at 9 PM and woke up my entire family, which was incredibly disruptive. To make matters worse, they insisted that my parents move our vehicle across the facility, adding unnecessary stress to our evening. What made this situation even more concerning was that my mother, who walks with a cane, had to navigate her way back to our cabin in the dark. This lack of consideration for guests' comfort and safety is unacceptable. It’s disappointing to see such poor management. I hope they can improve their approach in the future to ensure that guests can enjoy their stay without being disturbed or put in dangerous situations.

I had a guest use my timeshare which we paid for as you have to pay exchange fees and guest certificate fee. My guest was told at end if stay that they had to pay $30 per day fee which was $210 + taxes. This fee was not mentioned anywhere in the booking process or the Christmas Mountain website. I think this is not right.

Excellent accommodations, lots to do on the grounds and in the area. Golfing was great, the pool and hot tub are great and the food and drinks in the restaurant were also great.
