Fairfield Inn & Suites Lake City

This is the worst experience I have ever had with Marriott! I agree with the below review. Whoever owns this franchise is ruining the Marriott name. Made 6 calls to attempt to get a room block without response. Finally Sonal (GM) leaves me a message. I call back and am told our room block is reserved only to find out once I call back and speak with Heather the front desk manager (because Sonal never called) that we don’t have a block. The customer service here is terrible!! Definitely NOT the Marriott way. If you’re the franchise owner I would clean house and start over.

It’s a dump. Never again. Whoever owns this franchise is putting a bad name for Marriott. The General Manager did not care and if you are a Gold or Platnum member , it means nothing to this company . Avoid them because you will have a terrible experience going to this Marriott hotel.

Usually love the Marriott experience but this hotel needs some repairs (lots of rust especially by the pool). Pool deck has lots of bugs. The room we had needed a good cleaning, and the shower rod was broken making the shower curtain useless. We called to get it fixed and are currently waiting.

Disappointing. This is one Marriott location I have stayed at several times over the years but this stay I found the location not up to what I think is a marriott standard. We found mold on the bathroom Ceiling, a dirty used towel left hanging over the shower curtain and the shower head falling off. When I informed the staff, they did not appear to be concerned.

Well Marriott should be ashamed of themselves. This place had mold in the bathrooms as you wil see in photos. The lobby was Fred ing and halls extremely hot. I was there there three days and never got a clean. When I asked about it o was told I declined it. NEVER would I do that. We will never stay in a Fairfield again

This is my second time coming to this hotel but this time, the cleanliness of the room was awful there was dirty coffee cups on the tables, one of the beds was peed on and they still fixed the bed I noticed as soon as I lifted the sheets to go to sleep. I complained and as I result I had to switch rooms. As for the laundry the washer machine broke and it didn’t do the spin, we notified staff and their solution was to tell me and my husband to squeeze the clothes to get the water out. All of this was “notified” to a manager.
