"Auf unserer Tour durch verschiedene Hotels in Südtirol war unser Aufenthalt im 5-Sterne Hotel Avidea in Algund, das liebevoll von der Familie Bacher geführt wird, ein absolutes Highlight, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel ist ein Adults Only Hotel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Anna empfangen, die uns, da wir etwas früh dran waren, zu einem entspannten Prosecco auf der Terrasse einlud, während wir auf unser Zimmer warteten. Unsere Freude war groß, als wir erfuhren, dass wir ein kostenloses Upgrade zur Aurora Garden Suite erhalten hatten. Die Suite war nicht nur geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet, sondern bot auch einen Whirlpool und einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Meran. Das geräumige Bad mit großer Dusche und der praktische Wandschrank waren besonders beeindruckend. Das gesamte Personal im Hotel Avidea zeichnete sich durch Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Herzlichkeit aus. Das Frühstück genossen wir auf einer wundervollen Terrasse über einer Apfelplantage. Die ruhige Lage des Hotels ermöglichte uns, nachts hervorragend zu schlafen. Das Abendessen, ein 5-Gänge-Menü mit Optionen aus Fleisch, Fisch und vegetarischen Gerichten, war exzellent. Das Personal achtete sorgfältig auf Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Ultra-All-Inclusive-Angebot, das den ganzen Tag über diverse Getränke inkludierte. Das Hotel legt großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit, indem es Produkte aus der Region anbietet und den Wein von lokalen Weingütern bezieht. Der Wellnessbereich, der Beautybereich und das kleine Fitnessstudio ergänzten das Angebot. Der Rooftop Pool mit seiner spektakulären Aussicht und den stilvollen Liegemöglichkeiten bot einen perfekten Ort zur Entspannung. Das tägliche Programmangebot mit Aktivitäten wie Qigong, Saunagängen und Weinverkostungen rundet auch ihren fantastischen Aufenthalt ab. Wir freuen uns noch auf die verbleibende Zeit hier im Hotel und sind gespannt, was die Familie Bacher sowie das Team noch für uns bereithält. Das Hotel Avidea ist wahrlich ein perfekter Ort, um eine schöne Auszeit in Südtirol zu genießen, und ein herausragender Teil unserer Hoteltests in der Region. Ruster Resort ★★★

"Ich kann nur eines sagen: Lasst euch von den negativen Bewertungen nicht abschrecken. Manchmal gilt eben das Sprichwort: „Wie es in den Wald hineinruft, so schallt es heraus.“ Wir haben zwei Wochen im Hotel Ruster verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Parkanlage ist wunderschön angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr gelungen. Besonders gefallen haben uns die insgesamt drei Whirlpools – einer davon befindet sich im Saunabereich (Haus Schönblick). Dort steht sogar ein Kühlschrank mit kalten Getränken zur Selbstbedienung bereit. Das gesamte Personal war jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Im hauseigenen Restaurant kann man hervorragend essen. Wer Abwechslung sucht, erreicht das Zentrum von Algund in etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß und findet dort ebenfalls viele gute Restaurants. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet: zahlreiche regionale Produkte, eine große Auswahl an frischem Obst und Beeren sowie alles, was man sich für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag wünscht. Unser Zimmer entsprach genau der Beschreibung und wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir sicher in einer abgeschlossenen Garage unterstellen. Besonders praktisch fanden wir, dass dort sogar Werkzeug für kleinere Reparaturen zur Verfügung stand. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"I found this hotel by chance, it is situated very unique on the hill side above Meran in nature blessed location. Totally quiet. The place and staff was very friendly and despite late arrival I could enjoy a good meal with local ham, cheese and bread on the terrace. The room was spatious, very clean and had a fabulous view over the valley. All around the hotel, garden, pool area is very well maintained and beautifully taken care of. The price is very reasonable (low compared to what you get). I only stayed there 1 night but enough to say this is a perfect place and the breakfast was excellent too. Can only recommend it, a jewel in the hills, outside of Meran."

"We stayed here for about a week in a type B apartment. I'll start by saying not to rely on the floor plans on the site: they are absolutely not truthful. The apartment consists of only two rooms, bathroom and living area, there was no sofa bed and cabinet with the TV, the kitchenette and the bed were all in the same room, in which there was also a mini table with two chairs. Pros: - Mrs. Petra was very friendly, she even left us a thought before leaving - the terrace is very comfortable for eating outside, especially in the morning and evening as the air is fresh - the area is quiet, in the evening and at night there is no noise except that of the forest animals - the bus stop is under the apartment therefore very convenient for taking advantage of the guest card which allows you to use buses and trains for free, even if the connections with the bus that starts from Lagundo town hall are really too narrow at times and it is better to go down on foot (there is also a path in the middle of a vineyard that shortens the road to get to the town hall). I recommend the altoadigemobilita app to check the routes and timetables of trains and buses - the bathroom is large, especially the shower - good cleanliness - really beautiful view from the terrace - the WiFi in the apartment works very well Cons: - few dishes, There are literally three pots and they are all the same type (the classic ones for heating pasta water, for example), there isn't even a pan, for example. Of some types of dishes there are two, of others three, of others four: it seems a bit like a jumble of leftover crockery placed at random in the apartment, for example there is an absolutely useless splash guard given that there is no It's not even a frying pan. Other things, such as one of the two cutting boards, would need to be changed: the handle is rusty and mold is starting to appear on the wood. In general it seems not to be well maintained, in the apartment below ours we witnessed the umbrella cover falling from its structure and tearing while it was closed, probably due to wear and tear. Also bring salt, sugar, etc. from home because you won't find them. There is however a kettle with some tea bags. - in the shower there is absolutely nothing to place the shower gel or anything else, it would be useful to add some shelves - the parking is not adequate for the number of guests that the structure can accommodate, if you return late during the periods when the apartments are full you will not find a place in the dedicated parking and in the surrounding area there is nowhere to put the car (Mrs. Petra still leaves the possibility, in the evening, to park it in front of her garage) - for separate waste collection two bins are given, one in the bathroom and one downstairs at the sink, but for example there is nothing for the waste and it is not clear where it should be put: in the common room dedicated to the bins there is a waste bin but we were told that they don't have bags"
