Wir wollten uns auf unserem Weg nach Hause schnell auf Charleston ansehen. Das erwies sich als ein ideales Hotel. Es hatte einfachen Zugang zu Charleston und Interstate 95. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und ruhig. Das Frühstück war warm und kalt reichhaltig und gut gelagert. Viele Zimmer zu sitzen. Wir bleiben hier wieder, wenn wir zurückkommen, um Charleston für einen längeren Besuch zu besuchen.

Meine liebe Frau und ich blieben zwei Nächte im Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Charleston - Nord. Wir fanden das Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und zufriedenstellend. Besonders bemerkenswert war die Freundlichkeit der Abend- und Tagesreception-Gesellschaften. Die Tagesgesellschaft, Jean war sehr hilfreich, als wir sie fragten, was sie in Charleston empfehlen würde. Sie hat uns eine Karte mit der Zeit gegeben, um uns einige Punkte von Interesse zu zeigen. Wir folgten ihren Empfehlungen und hatten einen wunderbaren Nachmittag, um das historische Viertel Charleston zu erkunden und zu genießen. Das war unser erstes Aufenthalt in einem Holiday Inn. Wir waren wirklich beeindruckt.

My husband and I just love this place. The room was so clean and smelled so good. The beds ate out of this world the sheets are so soft and smell so clean. The front desk staff are awesome and very friendly. The manager he is very nice himself. We will definitely come back again.. Thank you to the whole staff for a wonderful stay..

Sehr gutes Hotel

Das war unser erstes Aufenthalt in Summerville und die Erfahrung und Pflege des Cambria Teams überstieg meine Erwartungen. Meine Familie sehe ich auf unsere nächste Abenteuer, die auch den Aufenthalt in einem Cambria-Standort umfasst. Jacqueline

Nicht hier bleiben!! Das Hotel ist nicht besser als ein Motel-6! Sicherlich nicht bis zu Marriott Standards!! (und ich bin Platinum ...so Ich weiß ein paar Dinge über Marriott Eigenschaften) Marriott sollte seinen Namen aus diesem Ort ziehen! Insgesamt (auf insgesamt 10-star Rating), ist dieser Ort ein 2-star Hotel, versucht ein 3-star und vorgeht ein 4-star durch seine Online-Ratings! Der Pool ist Eis-kühl (kein Heizungsgerät) und die Größe eines großen Bad-Tube. Die Zimmer werden nicht gereinigt (sehr ...we blieb 5 Tage, nie so viel wie ein Vakuum, wir begannen, unsere eigene Müll rauszunehmen!). In-Room-Kühlschrank schließt alle 2 Stunden aus (damit nichts kalt bleibt und es riecht ...und sie sind dazu bestimmt!). Das Frühstück war ok, bis zum letzten Tag, als sie nicht einmal störten, alles außer Brot und Oatmehl auszuführen (vermutlich Kosten zu sparen, da sie sehr voll waren). Obst war auch immer vernichtet. Sie konnten nicht einmal Kaffee und Tee nach 10 Uhr rauslassen, aber sie behaupten, es sei 4-stars? Wirklich? Auch die Wände wurden mit Skelettmarken und weißem Pflaster überall markiert! Und wir blieben in mehr als 1 Zimmer, das ist mehr als die meisten Menschen sehen! Pro: Die Dusche war heiß, die Auszugsschlafkappe war ein Bonus (auch wenn es so unkomfortable Leute gerade auf den Sofas schliefen), die Zimmer waren insgesamt geräumig und der Heizungs- und A/C funktionierte gut. Das Fernsehen funktionierte gut, und wir konnten sogar in unseren Netflix registrieren, aber auch diese waren nicht genug, um meine Gesamtbewertung zu erheben! Das Einzige gute über dieses Hotel war das Personal! Ehrlich gesagt, sie waren im Allgemeinen freundlich und hilfreich, je nachdem, wer Sie mit .... gesprochen haben, aber ich würde niemals meine Familie hier wieder verbringen! Wenn ich nicht die ganze Zeit online reserviert hätte, hätten wir Hotels verschoben!

We stayed three nights in October for an event I hosted (EVENT STAFF COULD NOT BE MORE OUTSTANDING), but this is for the room/staff. We stayed in a suite - always ask for the opposite side of the interstate, as it is very loud on the ”even side”, especially if you have any sleep issues. Could it be updated some? Sure. We came back for a night in November on family business. Stayed in an odd-numbered room and it was decidedly quieter. They need better trashcans in the rooms. Seriously, the one they had in the main room is no bigger than a stand up desk file box. The hotel employee that I was disappointed in was Gwen at the front desk. Not friendly, not attentive, not in a hurry. After the first visit my husband had left something, and I thought I ha. Until we made reservations for the second visit, my husband did not realize that that's where he left his cane. He gave them a call, they went right to it, and it was waiting at the desk with his name on when we checked in. What I thought I lost was a necklace we had brought to town to take to the jeweler, but a family emergency prevented that (we lived in the area until last year so it was a trip ”home”). I asked Gwen to check on it. SEVERAL times I had to explain exactly what it was - a broken gold necklace with 4 small beads - how exact is that?) She shuffled around and acted like I was crazy to even ask about it. I explained the situation several more times - she wanted the reservation number I had been under because supposedly that was the only way anyone could look for it. I didn't have the number, but had the dates. She was surly about it. FINALLY she said she'd call upstairs to the lost and found and I could have a seat. It took about an hour for anyone from ”there” to come down, and I finally had to crowd the desk for her to call them. Hearing the way she was referencing my claim was like she was just humoring me, and I might be scamming her. How many people come looking for a broken piece of jewelry, and how hard is it to see if they have it? That could have been a misunderstanding of her motives by me, but based on how she was at check-in both visits and how I saw her similarly relate to other customers, I felt she was not into her job. I won't let that keep me from staying there again, though. The great experience I had with the event staff bought them some loyalty from me. I will say kudos for having gluten free cookies - wish they could be warm, but know that's impossible.

I would say avoid this place at all costs. I arrived at the hotel, I would say between 10 and 11 PM and as I entered the lobby there was a stale musty skunk smell. I had booked a king non-smoking and when I got to the desk they switch me to 2 Queens. So the laundry was on the way so I stopped there first. I spent about 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes doing laundry. I then went over to the room and the moment I walked in the room I could tell it was dirty, really dirty! There was two queen beds against the wall barely enough room to walk to the bathroom. They had a futon in the middle of the room which was really hard to get around so I guess the room was supposed to sleep six people. It seem more like a spring break place. The room had two TVs and neither one of them worked. The towels were white but they look like they had been used in a mechanic shop because they were black stains in all of the towels. I also noticed there were several cups Of some kind of black liquid left on top of the refrigerator. I assume from the previous guests. I didn’t even stay in the room. When I went back up front to the desk it was pretty late after midnight and I could not find anybody. I then got in my vehicle and left. I booked this through the Wyndham‘s app and I notified them of my stay and how bad it was. I told them that I wanted to request a refund. Today I noticed I received an email I believe it was from someone from that specific hotel. They gave me the gibberish about oh you only had 30 minutes to decide if you wanted to stay or not and we can’t refund your money. That would’ve been nice but I didn’t get into the room until at least an hour and a half after I checked in. Then when I did go back up to the front desk there’s no one around. To be honest the clerk told me when I checked in that there had been people living there for 2 to 3 years so I’m believing that this might be a section 8 hotel but I really don’t know. What I do know is I’ve been driving a truck for 37 years and this is absolutely the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. For your own health and safety I would not recommend this place at all. You’d be better getting a couple of blankets and sleeping up under a bridge.
