Un Hôtel En Ville

Stayed in Un Hotel En Ville for a couple of nights in May. It’s a small hotel in a great location. The area is quiet yet only a short stroll from the bustling centre. The hotel and its rooms are spotless and comfortable. Vanessa is very welcoming and made us feel at home from we arrived. We hope to return to La Rochelle and stay there again.

Charming centrally located hotel which is an absolute gem in La Rochelle. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Vanessa who is also a gem. She has the knowledge & experience to advise you on the real La Rochelle the restaurants with the best local fresh produce & what tourist traps to avoid. My friend & I stayed there for the May Bank Holiday weekend we had a truly wonderful time. La Rochelle is a beautiful city & only 1 hour 20 mins from Dublin it is well worth a visit. Our visit was made extra special by Vanessa who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. We will definitely be back. ❤️

Second time staying here , the first was excellent and so was this . Room is just perfectly designed for a city break hotel . The rooftop retrace is just a lovely spot to relax prior to heading out for the evening in this fantastic city . Vanessa is an excellent host and if she recommends something to eat or do , take it , her advice has been spot on both visits .

Property: A recently renovated property, our room and bathroom were bright, modern and expertly appointed. Thanks to Team en Ville, all was spotless. Dining: Our breakfasts from the sideboard and freshly brewed tea were perfect. We enjoyed our morning Vanessa conversations when she further imparted her La Rochelle and Île de Ré "bests of." Dinner recommendations were much appreciated. Location: Quiet and perfect to walk to the harbor and marina, the "downtown," the park and a reasonable drive to Île de Ré. With Julien's guidance, parking proved convenient and easy. We will always remain appreciative for the privilege of being Un Hotel en Ville guests thanks to the presence and spirit of Vanessa & Julien. Looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend!

Just a few minutes walk from the water front and the main restaurant street, but still quiet. So an excellent location. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, and a very nice breakfast is served. Car park in the square in front of the hotel.
