We really liked La Digue and after visiting Prasin before found it laid back and relaxed. The hotel is on the water front with great views over the sea from the restaurant, which is a buffet breakfast and dinner but good quality. Getting over from Praslin by a Cat is fun and we were met at the jetty and taken to the hotel. The first 15 mins were poor, staff chatting to themselves and largely unready for a new party of residents. However, once we were checked in and taken to our room we began to really enjoy the experience. We had a Villa de Charm which I would strongly advise, may be more expensive but you are higher up the hillside with terrific views- look out for the tropic birds and giant fruit bats! There is a buggy service but walking down is OK. There is a lot to see on La Digue so do plan and enjoy it. Bicycles and available but one of count not cycle! so we did do a lot of walking. Staff were fine once we got over the poor check in, and sadly we only stayed 3 nights and we were off to Silhouette, could have stayed longer

Viel zerbrochenes Glas am Strand, wir haben jeden Tag Glas gefunden, alle Getränke beim Abendessen kosten extra, sogar Wasser, der Strom wurde ein paar Mal stundenlang abgeschaltet, viele WLAN-Probleme, entweder funktioniert es jetzt oder schaltet sich zufällig während der Nutzung aus, etwas Empfang Das Personal hatte eine Einstellung, das Mädchen zeigte uns am Anfang die Unterkunft und redete sehr ruhig nur mit dem Hauptgast, Hunde am Strand, aber freundlich. Das Schlimmste war, dass wir zwei Zimmer gebucht hatten und aus irgendeinem Grund wurden wir auf 1 Zimmer und einen Babymantel herabgestuft, über den wir uns unterhielten vorher aber nie erwähnt, dass wir in EIN Zimmer wechseln wollen. Wir mussten immer noch den gleichen Preis für ein Doppelzimmer-Appartement zahlen. Ich wurde im Hotel von einer Person zur anderen weitergeleitet. Sie sagten mir, alles sei ausgebucht und sie könnten nichts tun. Ich stimmte zu Ich wollte in der Ein-Zimmer-Wohnung übernachten, verlangte aber eine Entschädigung, zum Beispiel für Getränke oder Mittagessen, aber nichts. Ich musste den gleichen Preis bezahlen. Später sagten sie dann, es sei ein Doppelzimmer und sie hätten nicht einmal eine Zwei-Zimmer-Wohnung, aber das stand sogar im Prospekt In unserem Zimmer wurde ein Zwei-Zimmer-Appartement erwähnt und in meiner Buchung steht eindeutig ein Zwei-Zimmer-Strandhaus. Am zweiten Tag gab es keinen Strom, also keine Klimaanlage, kein kaltes Wasser, keinen Kaffee und das WLAN funktionierte sowieso nicht, also kein WLAN. Begrüßung war Toll, dass wir an der Fähre abgeholt wurden, das Resort sieht von außen sehr hübsch aus mit Lichtern und verschiedenen Pflanzen und Blumen, das Essen war gut und eine gute Mischung, gute Lage zum Park, Küchen- und Restaurantpersonal ausgezeichnet, Reinigungspersonal auch großartig, die Zimmer waren sauber
