Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war sehr schön. Meine Frau und ich haben hier eingecheckt. Der Service an der Rezeption war besonders gut. Ich war mit diesem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmerausstattung war sehr gut, mit intelligenter Sprachsteuerung, guter Klimaanlage, großer Zimmerfläche und guter Sauberkeit. Das Restaurant im zweiten Stock ist sehr schön und das Essen ist köstlich. Der Nachteil ist, dass der Shuangqiao-Nachtmarkt etwas überfüllt ist, aber das Hotel ist recht gut. Die kostenlosen Parkplätze sind recht gut und es liegt in der Nähe der U-Bahn. Ich würde es empfehlen.

Ttravelbug123Great airport hotel. Awesome rooms, beautifully designed and have everything that you need and more ! I appreciate the free airport shuttle which operates every half an hour from 4am to 2pm. You do need to let the front desk know you need this service in advanced as seats on the car is limited. This service is very handy especially when I have elderly parents travelling with me. Great shout out to the driver who was very helpful with the luggage and he was friendly and polite. Reception had prepared packed breakfast for us which was very thoughtful, eggs, bread and milk, however our milk were all confiscated at the airport custom as we forgot we could not bring liquid across. This is something for guests to take note of and maybe the hotel can help remind guests about this. I have to highlight a few quirks of this place though that can hopefully improve the experience. There is a steep flight of stairs between the main road and the hotel building, it's a weird urban design if you ask me but this seems to be out of the hotel's control. That means if you have heavy luggages and elderly with waking issues to manage, this is problematic. Reception pointed to us a slop along the steep flight of stairs but is just as steep that is might as well not exist in the first place. We asked if reception has anyone to help, perhaps a porter or a young lad around but there was none. They were also not very helpful in suggesting alternatives ways of getting into the hotel. We realised ourselves much later there is a back door on ground level although it could mean a longer walk around to get to that. but it's better than not providing any suggestions. While I don't expect the ladies at the reception to help with the heavy luggages, I thought the management could have some protocols to help guests who have issues with the steep flight of stairways. In 21st century, it is important to consider inclusivity design of service offering to achieve a more international level of standards. Just a suggestion for management consideration. Overall, it's a good hotel with awesome hardware, but the service training could be better. The reception at the front is great at doing the standard basics but could do with some improvement of being a little more sympathetic to guests reaching out for support and help. I think this hotel has great potential to compete with other big international brand names with a little more service improvements. Ibis is just literally next door but I hope Chinese brands will thrive even more in the near future. I will keep a look out for this Chinese chain in the future when visiting China ! :)

TTraveling SamI had an early morning flight scheduled out of Kunming International Airport. I wanted to ensure that I didn’t miss the flight and this hotel is conveniently located on level 2 of the airport with the departures located 1 level above. I was greeted politely by staff that didn’t speak English, but they used a translator app and we were able to communicate the necessary information. The room was around the corner from check-in. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had all the necessities. If you need a reasonably priced hotel near the airport this is a good choice.

GGastnutzerEin sehr zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt! Ambiente, Sauberkeit und Essen stehen denen einer internationalen Fünf-Sterne-Kette in nichts nach, und der Service ist sogar noch besser. Besonders möchte ich den beiden hübschen Damen in der Executive Lounge für ihren herzlichen und aufmerksamen Service danken. Als sie erfuhren, dass ich am nächsten Tag zum Stone Forest fahren würde, empfahlen sie mir praktische und bequeme Transportmöglichkeiten und führten mich geduldig durch den Reservierungsprozess. An meinem letzten Tag, nach dem Auschecken, fuhr ich morgens nach Xishan Longmen. Aufgrund des enormen Touristenansturms dauerte allein die Fahrt mit der Seilbahn über zwei Stunden. Ich konnte es kaum erwarten auszuchecken und rief daher an der Rezeption an, die mich beruhigte und meinen Aufenthalt verlängerte. Sie gaben mir, einem Fremden in einem fremden Land, das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein, wie ein Freund. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder im Jiahua übernachten, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Kunming bin, und ich hoffe, es wird weiterhin besser!

GGlenysMFairyland Shangpin Hotel in Kunming, is a really nice hotel, in a terrific location….. but as the extra bit in title mentions, is in a pedestrian street, therefore if you have a mountain of luggage, or mobility issues, or toddlers & babies to carry, you might want to think twice about booking here or in any other hotel in the pedestrian streets in the neighbourhood. It’s one of the fabulous features of the area, but you do need to be aware that vehicles are not allowed in this area….. AND …. the only way into the hotel is via a flight of stairs.
My Grab driver from the airport dropped me off where his gps directed him to, but it meant an overly long walk lugging my bag through crowds of tourists on a stinking hot Sunday arv on cobbled streets (obviously not designed when wheeled suitcases were invented!). I discovered the next day that Wuyi Rd subway station is really close to the hotel… less than a 5 minute walk away. Turn left outside the hotel entrance. Turn right at the corner (150m away), and one of the entrances to the subway is just along there on the right. When I looked it up, it turns out it takes half the time to & from the airport as it does by car and costs next to nothing, so I caught it to the airport (just 1 easy transfer along the way), and was really glad I did. It’s a pity the hotel doesn’t include that important info in its listing!
The hotel’s Reception & dining room staff are all super friendly and nice, and my room was really lovely, with a great shower, power points that my Australian hair straightener and phone chargers plugged straight into, and a big window that opens and which overlooks rooftops, alleyways, cafes, high-rises and lots more. There’s also a window beside every lift entrance, so you can all the locals dancing in the public square, which is just fabulous!
There is a laundry for guest use on the same floor as the breakfast room, but every time I checked, both machines were in use, so I wouldn’t count on getting any washing done if you’re only staying for a couple of days.
Loved wandering around the cobbled streets (from right outside the hotel), day & night. Lots to see & do. Lots of colour, lots of people (including all the locals folk dancing together in the square), lots of places to eat, drink and shop nearby. Highly recommend Fairyland Shangpin Hotel to those who are ok with walking (& pulling luggage) over cobblestones, and up & down stairs to and from the hotels entrances (one to the front door, and a second entrance near the lift). It’s worth it! ☺️

GGastnutzerNach meiner Ankunft mit dem Zug suchte ich nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in der Nähe des Südbahnhofs von Kunming. Für einen Ausländer ist der Eingang des Hotels schwer zu finden. Das Zimmer selbst und die Bettwäsche sind sehr sauber, aber die Dusche und die Toilette sind etwas seltsam (man kann auf der Toilette sitzen und gleichzeitig duschen). Der Preis war sehr gut, also kann ich mich nicht zu sehr beschweren.

MM50211****Als Hotelkenner warte ich seit zehn Jahren darauf, dass dieses Hotel der Shangri-La-Gruppe während dieser Goldenen Woche am 1. Mai endlich für den Betrieb geöffnet ist, und es wird mit Spannung erwartet.
Erstens liegt das Hotel im Kerngebiet der Stadt mit bequemen Transportmöglichkeiten. Der U-Bahn-Eingang liegt direkt vor der Tür. Man kann sagen, dass die Geschäftsviertel Hang Lung und Vientiane City günstig sind sind in der Nähe, was sehr praktisch ist.
Wenn Sie den Hotelbereich betreten, sehen Sie als Erstes eine dekorative Wand voller Pflanzen und Blumen, die die Menschen sofort in das wunderschöne künstlerische Konzept von Spring City versetzt. Die Hotellobby verfügt über einen erstaunlichen großen LED-Bildschirm, der voller Schönheit und Frühling ist Eine üppige Szene mit blühenden Blumen und fliegenden bunten Schmetterlingen.
Der Ruhebereich in der Hotellobby ist elegant und komfortabel und man kann auf dem Sofa sitzend die Füße nicht bewegen.
Die Kai Tang Coffee Bar hat ein volles Gespür für Design. Der kleine Topf mit Reisnudeln, Brot und gebackenen knusprigen Brötchen ist das Beste, was ich seit zehn Jahren gegessen habe Gerichte und Service sind sehr herzlich und einladend und alle, die Kellner und Köche, sind freundlich.
Am Nachmittag kann man auch den ganzen Nachmittag bleiben. Piye Coffee ist auch das erste Restaurant in Kunming. Der Preis ist auch sehr angemessen und die Desserts sind großartig.
Im Gästezimmer ist die Bettwäsche sehr bequem, der direkte Trinkwasserspender ist auch sehr praktisch, das kabellose Laden ist sehr praktisch, was die Probleme beim Reisen beseitigt, und es gibt auch ein Design, das das Telefonpad verstärken kann, was ist Ein großer Vorteil für Leute, die gerne Musik hören. Ich liebe es. Vom Sofa neben dem Bett aus kann man das Stadion draußen sehen.
Ich war schockiert im Fitnessstudio. Es gibt so viele Geräte, von denen ich viele noch nie ausprobiert habe, und das Servicepersonal ist auch eine halbe Stunde lang sehr gut am Morgen war es gut.
Dieses JEN Hotel der Shangri-La-Gruppe ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ich möchte das Loft das nächste Mal ausprobieren und weitere Freunde einladen.

GGastnutzerDas Servicepersonal war sehr nett und gab mir ein kostenloses Upgrade auf das Zimmer im 17. Stock. Die Aussicht war sehr gut und ich konnte den Sonnenaufgang am Morgen sehen. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, aber im April ist es in Kunming nachts sehr kühl, sodass es nicht sehr störend ist.

Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, keine Klimaanlage, aber das wussten wir im Voraus.
