I visited with my Family on the 8th of August. Took a twin room which has 2 queen sized beds. I arrived at the location at noon, feeling very stressed out because was having a bit of an argument with the family. My mother was having one of her fits when we arrived, saying she didn't like the place, I on the other hand, was wondering why I spent so much money on this place. I called the caretaker and he was quick to respond, good guy, we got to our room, still stressed out, and felt instantly that the room was sp****. I was immediately questioning my reasoning for booking this place. Fast forward an hour or so later, when everyone calmed down (mother included), we were immediately in a better mood. The landscaping of the place is really beautiful, and the view of mount kinabalu was very majestic. We left both the front and back door open and the winds were blowing through the room, keeping it cool, my mom and my sisters were all starting to enjoy the place, myself included. I started looking into the details of the rooms, the quality of the materials used to construct the villa was of the highest quality, toilet was made with marble, and everything else was simple but robust, and could tell that material choice was quite important. The landscaping was also quite nice. Beautiful garden. And it's just so private. To sum it all up here are the pros and cons of this place. Pros: 1. High quality material used to construct the rooms 2. Beautiful landscaping - very calming and great. 3. Very private 4. Friendly and quick team to reply 5. Nice toilet (best in Kundasang) Cons 1. Price a bit on the high side (but it's private and most probably the nicest hotel in kundasang, cant compare to established hotels in the city( 2. Lacks some finer details : instead of 3 in 1 coffee, put a Nespresso machine in every room with 4 to 6 capsules, that really makes a difference in terms of perceived quality. 3. Pillows could be better - sheets are alright and bed is alright - but I stayed in four seasons kl for 40 percent cheaper, so... A bit hard on that end 4. I appreciate the disposable tooth brush, soaps etc. But I think the soap would be better if it was in a bottle stuck to the shower wall where it can be refillable, perhaps they could use a branded soap and shampoo for that, and not put it in small bottles, but in refillable permanent bottles in the room. 5. Restaurant - it's not under them, they share it with the hotel about a 5 minutes drive away. It's not bad, but it's far from good. No alcohol in sight there, so better BYOD. Although pricing wise it's on the high side, and there are some things that they can improve on, I'd still go back there, as it's the only great and private stay in kundasang. Everywhere else is not up to spring gardens quality, for now....

Alles gut, aber das einzige ist die plötzliche Fehlfunktion des Trockners und kann nicht verwendet werden.

Wir fahren zum Mount Kinabalu für 2 Nächte auf dem 1) Peak Lodge 1 & 2 , 2) Summit Lodge & 3) Garden Lodge. Die Unterkunft ist komfortabel, niedlich mit Feuerplatz , hat langsam oder keine WiFi-Verbindung überhaupt. Einige Verbesserungen in der Hausreinigung erforderlich. Dusche im Summit Lodge Überschwemmung, da die Fußbodentrappe mit Schmutz und Haar gefüllt war. Dusche Zimmer Wandfliesen sind schmutzig. wunderschöner Blick auf den Berg Kinabalu von unseren Lodges. Das Frühstück ist im Liwagu Restaurant, es serviert asiatisches Buffet. Es ist Ala-Carte, Lebensmittel und Service sind gut. Für Aktivitäten, um den Park, besuchen wir den Botanischen Garten und Poring Hot Spring und machen einen weiteren Fahrt nach Desa Dairy Farm in Kundasang. Alles in allem war es ein entspannender Aufenthalt !!

We stayed at Happy Pink, we like the cold nights and breeze there! The view is the same as the photos! Perfect for nature lovers who love sceneries' more the TV. The swing outside each house is enjoyable to have a view at Mount KK. We like the cosyness of the restaurants and the service there. Food is ok but a little slow in serving. Negative is that the water for showering is too weak to be used. We were joking that ”By the time the water flow down to our feet, our hair is already dry”

Wir haben hier ein paar Nächte geblieben und es ist in einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit guten Aussichten auf die Umgebung. Es ist ein bisschen aus dem Weg, so könnten Menschen, die ihren eigenen Transport haben, auch wenn sie einen Shuttle-Service anbieten. In der Tat waren sie mit diesem erstaunlich, der Manager ließ uns am Kinabalu Park ab und jemand sammelte uns später. Sie nahmen uns auch ein paar Mal in die Stadt und holten uns auf. Es gibt eine Küchenzone, um Ihre eigene Küche zu lagern und zubereiten, aber es gibt kein Restaurant oder Frühstück. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel genug und ich denke, es wäre ein erstaunlicher Ort für die Meditation Retreats, wenn sie wieder auftauchen. Das 4-Sterne-Hotel ist mit kostenlosem WLAN überall verfügbar. Ich gebe diese 4 Sterne vor allem aufgrund der wunderschönen hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter, die nicht genug für uns tun konnten.

The road to the location is quite high, luckily we use 4wd drive to get there. Still its reachable and easy to locate via waze. I saw the bad review about the cleanliness (i had second thought at first too but i booked it for the cheap price and my dad wanted to try a different place everytime we go to kundasang😂) but some improvements can be see. The room is quite comfortable and the toilet is clean with fuctioning heater. Still lacking in some amenities, 5 people room but only two towels were provided. The tv is under maintainence during our stay. We didnt use the wifi provided cause we bring our own, the coverage for dg and celcom is quite good. There is balcony in our room but my mom complain about the smoke that travel from other room as the balcony is not fully seperated. The view of Mout Kinabalu is right in front of our room BUT there is ongoing construction at front which will block the view in the future. However there is one balcony outside the building that can see the panorama of the Mount Kinabalu and Kundasang town. Definitely an A+ for the view. We brought our own food as we always do during our trip and I would recommend to bring your own as the place is quite far from town and the food there (i saw the food menu at reception) is quite pricey. Still it is a good experience and i would recommend other to stay there. I attached some photos of the view that can be seen from there

Ich liebe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Resort. Seine Lage ist fantastisch! Ich wollte abkoppeln und entspannen - und das ist genau das, was ich habe! Es liegt auf einem Hügel und ist völlig von der Natur umgeben. Das Zimmer war großartig! Es hatte ein TV, ein schönes Badezimmer und ein großes und komfortables Bett. Ich liebe das nasse Mee Hoon mit Meeresfrüchten im Restaurant. Alles in allem ist es ein idealer Ort, um sich zu entspannen, ein wenig von dem Lärm der Stadt zu bleiben und genießen Sie die wunderschönen Blicke auf den Berg Kinabalu und die Umgebung. Vielen Dank an das Personal für die Erlebnis erstaunlich gemacht!

+ neben den heißen Quellen von Poring + friedlich und ruhig, wo man die Geräusche der Natur hören konnte (Insekten, Flussströmungen), besonders nachts, was ich liebe + herzlicher Empfang durch die Rezeptionistin und das Personal im Büro, als ich ankam, die Rezeptionistin gab eine sehr informative Einweisung über den Ort, die sehr nützlich war + bequemes Bett, Kissen, Decke und Handtücher + ein Mitarbeiter begleitete mich zum Zimmer + hatte Toilettenartikel, Wasserkocher, Gläser, Tassen, Fernseher, Nachtlampen, Haartrockner, Astro, Krug, Klimaanlage, Wasserkocher, Ventilator, Toilettenschuhe, Toilettenpapier und umweltfreundliche Wassernachfüllflasche im Zimmer + hat einen Parkplatz + hilfsbereites „WhatsApp“-Personal + Zimmer war kalt, obwohl die Klimaanlage/der Ventilator nicht eingeschaltet war + hat Stände, Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe + klarer Fernsehempfang + hat gefilterte Wasserstation für Gäste - wäre toll, wenn alle Mitarbeiter herzlich wären und jeden begrüßen würden - begrenzte Auswahl beim Frühstück (6 Menüs), das könnte verständlich sein, da hier nicht so viele Unterkunftseinheiten angeboten werden, aber das Management könnte „Menürotation“ machen? Nur so ein Gedanke - das Frühstück ist teuer für à la carte und muss geschmacklich verbessert werden - ich habe um Zimmerservice für das Frühstück gebeten – es gab keinen Kaffee/Tee, nur Saft und kein Brot für das amerikanische Frühstück. Bei einem Preis zwischen RM45 und RM60 denke ich, dass es besser wäre. - Wasser auf dem Badezimmerboden floss nicht gut in den Abfluss - kein zweiter Schlüssel im Zimmer an der Tür - kein Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett, Minikühlschrank im Zimmer - der Gehweg ist dunkel, keine Lampen - wäre wunderbar, wenn die Sauberkeit der Außenmöbel im Zimmer verbessert werden könnte
