Zum dritten Mal im Laufe von 25 Jahren besuchten wir dieses wunderbare Ressort. Eine mit viel Sorgfalt gepflegte Naturoase: ruhig, erholsam. Eine sehr aufmerksame , liebnswürdige crew, die ihre Gäste verwöhnt. Ein gutes Restaurant mit grossem Angebot. Wir reisen seit 30 Jahren immer wieder in Indien. Dieser Ort ist für uns einer der schönsten und erholsamsten! Eine Empfehlung für Naturliebhaber, die auch Komfort geniessen möchten; eine erstklassige Adresse und dieses Mal mit Abstand die beste auf einer dreiwöchigen Südindientour. Hier scheut *** keine Anstrengungen, um nach Corona wieder das Beste zu bieten. (Das ist längst nicht überall so....)

Wir waren sehr überrascht und angetan von der Lage und Ausstattung der Anlage. Die Zimmer wunderbar und einzigartig. Und auch das Restaurant war immer in der Lage unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The hotel is in a very location which is very quiet and calm. The staff is very nice and welcoming. My wife's birthday was on the day of check out and their team were very kind to help us celebrate with a cake. The housekeeping staff left a very nice note wishing her happy birthday on a handmade paper at the resort. We had a great time and there were many complimentary activities at the resort. We will definitely visit the place again. Thank you team Spice Village!

It was our second time me and my wife visited CGH Spice Garden. The property is unique in the way it is built and functions. Most of the items in cottages are homemade, from drinking water to paper, all eco friendly also. One can find these surprises as they go through the stay. The ambience and peace is what attracted us to this property. The cottages are well maintained, with lots of birds chirping and squirrels running around. Misty climate, ***** with beautiful gardens to walk in. The bar here has a lot of history inside as old photos, and artifacts. The staff here are simply nice and ready to assist. The best place in Thekkady, and I think the only place there, where you can hide from the bustling and busy life we all are used to nowadays. They have many activities they organize that can be opted. We will be visiting it again after some time. Cottages: 10/10 Neatness: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Bar and food: 10/10 Activities: 10/10

Starting with Ms Akshaya, Ms Ashwini and Mrs Renju at the reception we received a very warm welcome. They were very warm and answered all the doubts and guided us for the tours, spice village, honey bee farming, spices shop. The rooms were really fantastic and very comforting. Very cool even without fan, very good cross ventilation. Mr Prince and his team of staffs were very polite and helpful at the restaurant. Explained in detail about the recipe and custom made our meals as per our likings and taste. Mr Sumesh. Mr Vibin and Dr Prasad very very helpful with masage and prescription the medications for myself. Mr Girish and Ms Betsy were very knowledgeable regarding the in house tours, paper making and farming tips. Mr Manish with his knowledge and enthusiasm and his never ending energy during the jungle scout trail from 10 pm to 12:30 am was wonderful. Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant and memorable.

It is a calm and serene place to go for a relaxing vacay. Pros Calm peaceful Good housekeeping We were made to visit elephant junction which was best ever experience Cons Food was very average We actually took a package with buffet but bcoz of less occupancy they told we will have to call for aa la carte which we were not even ore informed We came to know after we came for dinner The option were very limited with no good suggestion still we ordered but not very happy Next day we asked the chef to make something as a set menu but it was very okay again It was surprising as the breakfast was good (not elaborate though) Also we planned a trip to periyar tiger reserve via ebuggy for morning ride and to our surprise it came 40 mins late the staff was also not ready so the organization is not great Staff was good but compared to irher 5 stars wer we have visited can be more better

The resort has something for all age groups. We enjoyed the treks into the forest and photographing the wildlife. Our parents enjoyed the boating, walking around the resort, and the regular activities in the resort. Resort is clean, well organised with personal attention to even small details. Loved that it is really Eco-friendly, and that the Ënvironment friendly"tag is not a marketing ploy. We found extensive use of solar panels, natural ventilation, use of local materials for construction, proper sewage treatment and reuse, composting of food waste.... The list goes on.

Cool environment for relaxation and perfect for honeymoon couples. Total bliss of nature - creative and nature oriented resort for adults. The food was great too and our honeymoon dinner were celebrated by the friendly staff on the kitchen
