Ich habe am Wochenende eine Nacht geblieben und glücklich gebucht. Alle Motel in diesem Bereich scheinen vollständig gebucht näher an meinem Reisedatum. Lage weise in der Nähe des Jetty, leicht zu bekommen Grab, ca. 1 km entfernt ist es 7-eleven und auch D Adna Laksa House. Das Zimmer war grundlegend und sauber. Dusche konnte kein heißes Wasser, es ist nur leicht erhitzt, so dass das Wasser nicht kalt gefroren war. Dieses ist ein muslimisches freundliches Motel, so keine alkoholischen Getränke erlaubt im Gebäude. Insgesamt hatte ich einen komfortablen Aufenthalt.

The staff attempted to charge the tourist tax that has been suspended until 2021. This tax relief was put in place to assist the hospitality industry and yet this establishment decided to try and abuse this. Given that due to the movement control order any visitors will be either Malaysian citizens or people residing in Malaysia this is a particularly naive course of action. Blatantly trying to rip people off. The rooms (203 & 205) were filthy. Everything was falling to pieces. The TV didn't work. There was a night market right outside the window that went onto midnight. It was withing the hotel grounds so they cannot deny knowledge of it happening. The ”band” had less musical talent than a group of drowning rats. The volume (and particularly bass) were turned up to 11. The beds were as hard as stone. Sheets had holes and bloodstains on them, plus several other stains that we did not wish to attempt to identify. Non-smoking rooms came with ash trays and the heavy stench of smoke. Adherence to the RMCO SOPs was poor, c.half of staff were not wearing masks when within 1m of each other or guests, There are two lifts. Only one works, it sounds/feels like it will die at any moment. Looking at the reviews the second lift has not worked in a long time. Little or no maintenance appears to have been done at this hotel since it was last decorated. This was probably in around 1990. It seemed possible that this was also when rooms 203 and 205 were last cleaned. Unfit for human habitation.

Basic Hotel, kein Tee oder Kaffee, nicht einmal im Lobby am Abend. Von unserem Zimmer können wir das Meer von weit entfernt sehen. Die Lage ist sehr schön, wenn Sie den Fähre am Morgen fangen möchten, da es direkt neben dem Fährstation liegt. Wir blieben dort für eine Nacht und es war alles, was wir brauchten. Rein & ruhig.
