Let’s start with the good. The location is great and in the heart of the city. The staff seem nice and helpful. The rooms though are less than ideal. We have a family room. The couples bed is literally two beds that are separate and pushed together with two separate bedspreads. There is a gap in the middle and if anyone slept in the middle they would get stuck. The room has no cupboards which is the most ridiculous thing ever. No cupboards! No iron, no table to work on..sp****. The room has a kettle. It’s on the window sill, not plugged in and nowhere to plug it in. Which is great if you like the thought of coffee without the need to drink it. The bathrooms - it’s clean. It has no real vanity space to put things. When you shower there are no hooks to hang your clothes. So they end up on the floor, creased, and remembering that there is no iron so if you had to wear them again, it not ideal. There is also no shower screen so the whole place ends up wet. Our room looks out onto a courtyard that has the other wing of the hotel on the other side. So all you see is a wall. It feels like the hotel was once a hospital that was refurbished which is not so bad, assuming you like staying in a hospital looking setting. The room though is clean, but it’s hard not to be clean when there is nothing else in the room.
