The hotel is not good cleaned. The room and the towels are dirty. Fell not comfortable to eat there because the kitchen is also dirty. The laundry comes dirty back. Tried to book a dolphin tour over the hotel and the price was first 15$ and overnight he wanted then 20$. Booked then the tour at another place and as we went back the owner didn't talk anymore to us. The guesthouse is located next to a school so you wake up early because the schoolkids in cambodia sing a lot. It was loud. Would not book it again

Wir haben in diesem Zimmer nicht geschlafen; oder wir schalten die Klimaanlage nicht ein und das Zimmer ist wie ein Heizofen, oder wir schalten sie ein und die kalte Luft wird die ganze Nacht auf das Bett geleitet ... Die Bettwäsche ist nicht sauber, ebenso wenig die Handtücher; Letztere riechen nicht gut; Wir schlafen mit einer Bettdecke ohne Bezug und können uns fragen, ob sie zwischen zwei Kunden gewaschen wird. Das Zimmer verfügt über keinen Stauraum, keine Annehmlichkeiten wie einen Kühlschrank oder einen Wasserkocher und auch keine kleinen Toilettenartikel. Es gibt nicht einmal eine Zahnbürste. Das Badezimmer ist klein und trostlos; alles ist alt und ungemütlich. Die Treppe zum zweiten Stock ist sehr steil und gefährlich. Der Manager vermietet Fahrräder in sehr schlechtem Zustand zu einem überhaupt nicht attraktiven Preis. Wenn Sie auf die Insel fahren, ist es besser, das Fahrrad dort zu mieten; Es ist der gleiche Preis, die Fahrräder sind besser und man muss nicht bezahlen, um es zu überqueren. In der unteren Etage wohnt die gesamte Familie rund um die Gäste. Es ist nicht angenehm, wenn man isst.

Spent 4 nights in total. Started in Room 201 with just a fan and found that too hot. Requested a move to an air-conditioned room and got 404 on the top floor with a great deck and view of the Mekong outside. The next room was a triple with 3 double beds and aircon. Our bed was more comfortable than our own apartment bed and aircon made the hot season very bearable. The guesthouse also ran its own dolphin tours and we took up the 1/2 day kayak and dolphin tour. We had a great guide: Mr Phira who had great English and a sense of humor. We fell out of the kayak once but had lifevests and Phira assisted us to get back in and upright. We paddled as close to the dolphins as the tourist boats and all operators are careful not to get too close and scare off the dolphins. Relaxed in the afternoon. Next day took the ferry across the island and hired bicycles to leisurely pedal around the island visiting the landmarks. - only 7km in total. We finished the day with relaxing & swimming from the relaxation platforms set up along the beach-side.

A very basic hostel. Pros: Kina - lovely, smiling main staff member. Mad as a hatter but informative and organised transport for when I left. Food - nothing special but nice and the price was fine. Price - only 2USD per night for the dorm. Wifi - although unreliable, was available throughout the hostel. Cons: Dorm room - limited fans had no effect on the upper bunks. No mosquito nets despite being next to the river and having permanent openings above the windows. Very small lockers (valuables only). Bar - the advertised rooftop bar (which admittedly would have been awesome) was closed for the off season. Facilities - poor bathroom (although expected); advertised kayak hire - but doesn't do so in the rainy season.

We stayed there 2 nights. The room is ok and clean, the mattresses need changing. Despite that I have to say that the owners are charming. We had a room on the top floor with a super view. We had some of the greatest sunset ever! They even come on that floor to serve your meal. The food is good but the kindness of the owner and the help in organizing a day out was great. So if you can manage having a so so bed for a few nights in a place where you can enjoy a superb view and very friendly and helpful owner :) ENJOY!

Stayed here for one night on the way to Ratanakiri. A tuktuk driver (who may well have been the owner) showed us a sign with the various rooms and the most expensive one was US$8 so we decided to check it out. This was a very large room with two double beds on the top floor. It had two electric fans (no aircon) and a very small bathroom with hot water. It was clean enough, although there were ants about which were quickly dealt with by the staff. The bed was comfortable & we had a reasonable night's sleep. The hotel has nice views of the Mekong River from the top floor. One downside was the owner/tuktuk driver continually adding on a dollar here & there such as the price of the room becoming US$9 and the onward bus tickets which were US$2 more than what we could get them ourselves. Also, when we went to order meals it seemed that the hotel had very little food as they were out of everything we wanted so we gave up & went elsewhere. I would rate this hotel 5/10.

Staff were lovely (very wholesome family vibes) and we’re happy to help us book our kayaking tour. However, if you are looking for a social hostel this is not the place to go! Nice for down time and chill.
