Aparthotel Pergamin

What a gem of a hotel. There is no reception but a code was sent to us the day we arrived. This was for the front door. The room keys were in individual little key safes once you were inside again the codes were all in the email. There was a lift so you didn't have to carry cases up to many stairs it only stopped on every other floor I think. The rooms were really big. Each room had air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. There was a little shop next door that was open from 6 am to 11 pm. There was shower gel and hand soap in the bathroom. Extra toilet rolls and bin liners in the drawers in the bathroom. A television in the bedroom didn't watch it. Two single beds and a double sofa bed. Also a little table and chairs. Floors are wooden so I took my shoes off when I went in because I could hear the people upstairs walking about. I was at the front of the hotel and the tram started going past early morning. The first morning I heard them after that it didn't bother me. Really close to the main square about a 10 minute walk.

walking distance to the square 👍🏻 if your staying in room 1 beware the smell coming from the bathroom is absolutely vile that you have to keep the door to the bathroom shut at all times, noisy people coming up the stairs at all hrs, average clean only 1 pillow and lumpy the only plus is you have a balcony to have a cigarette on so you don’t have to go outside, stayed for 2 night booked with jet 2 tbh a big let down from the pictures and i’m not posh but the smell put us of going back to the room..

Great location but floors were dusty and fowl smell from toilets it’s self check in and walls and floors paper thin and even people walking is nightmare and I would avoid as if u have noises people like we had not much u can do about it as no one there to complain to

This hotel is self check-in. We were provided the code after 3pm on the day of our check in, check in was easy using the instructions we were given by what’s app. We had booked two rooms, both nice and clean, only one pillow provided person. The room had a safe, kettle and fridge which was handy. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, if you do what this you have to pay via a link which the hotel will send to you. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the old town, a local tram also passes through the street . There is a convenience store just next door to the apartments, there is also cafes, takeaways and restaurants on the same street. You can store your bags in the luggage room on the ground floor, there is also iron and ironing board available in this room. The only negative is that the walls are paper thin. Not the apartment fault but other inconsiderate guests screaming, shouting, slamming doors at 1am was rather annoying when you are up early for a trip. I understand people go away to enjoy themselves but a bit of common courtesy for other guests would have been nice. In the information given in the room there is a “fine” for guests creating excessive noise from 10pm. One night a guest was banging the hell out of their room door, swearing and threatening for well over 45 mins, as they were locked out at 4am. We did complain to the hotel who apparently spoke to said guests about this, here’s hoping they were charged for this behaviour.

We arrived on Thursday evening around 8pm and received the code to get in the door and to get the keys. All went really easy- the reviews really worried us but honestly was absolutely fine. We stayed for three nights, I did find it a little odd that cleaning was an extra charge, new towels etc. cups were never changed and even when left outside the door weren’t taken but it was cheap so didn’t matter. Really close to the old town, about 10 min walk. Always felt really safe and seems to be a nice area of the city. About a 40 min walk to the Jewish quarter which was nice, we got to see lots of the city and actually spent a lot of time there so got our steps in! I would go back.
