Every room has balcony 😊 Don’t: No electricity upon arrival Bed linen were filled with dust, small small dead bugs. Quite old, can hear from downstairs footsteps, shower, television voice, people talking. Common: The road to Nikgold quite challenging ( as common as other areas in Kundasang, so it wasnt a big deal) No phone line, they do provide WiFi which is excellent Overall it was a pleasant stay. I visited with my Family on the 8th of August. Took a twin room which has 2 queen sized beds. I arrived at the location at noon, feeling very stressed out because was having a bit of an argument with the family. My mother was having one of her fits when we arrived, saying she didn't like the place, I on the other hand, was wondering why I spent so much money on this place. I called the caretaker and he was quick to respond, good guy, we got to our room, still stressed out, and felt instantly that the room was sp****. I was immediately questioning my reasoning for booking this place. Fast forward an hour or so later, when everyone calmed down (mother included), we were immediately in a better mood. The landscaping of the place is really beautiful, and the view of mount kinabalu was very majestic. We left both the front and back door open and the winds were blowing through the room, keeping it cool, my mom and my sisters were all starting to enjoy the place, myself included. I started looking into the details of the rooms, the quality of the materials used to construct the villa was of the highest quality, toilet was made with marble, and everything else was simple but robust, and could tell that material choice was quite important. The landscaping was also quite nice. Beautiful garden. And it's just so private. To sum it all up here are the pros and cons of this place. Pros: 1. High quality material used to construct the rooms 2. Beautiful landscaping - very calming and great. 3. Very private 4. Friendly and quick team to reply 5. Nice toilet (best in Kundasang) Cons 1. Price a bit on the high side (but it's private and most probably the nicest hotel in kundasang, cant compare to established hotels in the city( 2. Lacks some finer details : instead of 3 in 1 coffee, put a Nespresso machine in every room with 4 to 6 capsules, that really makes a difference in terms of perceived quality. 3. Pillows could be better - sheets are alright and bed is alright - but I stayed in four seasons kl for 40 percent cheaper, so... A bit hard on that end 4. I appreciate the disposable tooth brush, soaps etc. But I think the soap would be better if it was in a bottle stuck to the shower wall where it can be refillable, perhaps they could use a branded soap and shampoo for that, and not put it in small bottles, but in refillable permanent bottles in the room. 5. Restaurant - it's not under them, they share it with the hotel about a 5 minutes drive away. It's not bad, but it's far from good. No alcohol in sight there, so better BYOD. Although pricing wise it's on the high side, and there are some things that they can improve on, I'd still go back there, as it's the only great and private stay in kundasang. Everywhere else is not up to spring gardens quality, for now....

My partner and I really like this place very spacious room,bed is good but the ac is not that cold and some of the inside room structure really needed attention to be repaired,such as the bathroom some of the lights didn't work inside the room but the room got good window and the view in the morning is nice located at very quiet part of the town parking for car is a lot and convinient hotel also close to many convinient store around receptionist is very professional attending customer and friendly check in instructions are very clear and easy will look forward for future stay.

Is a good place to stay & relaxing, nearby town side Kota Belud, very friendly staffs a quiet place, price was cheap. Good environment surrounding was nice nearbourhood, I would recommend to go to this place for a cheap & budget stay. A lot of surrounding environment area to see, There were 10 rooms all together, group around the place, not far from the roadside, at around 5 minutes walking & 3 minutes driving then can reach the place

Our family of 5 stayed at BigFin for 2 nights recently towards the end of our trip to Sabah. We were very happy with our stay. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer :) Location of the resort is remote and idyllic. It is a small resort set on a beautiful beach, and is completely surrounded by nature. The rooms are on a small hill up from the beach. From outside our room we had a lovely view of the beach, the rolling rainforest hills, and Mt. Kinabalu in the distance. We spent our time walking and dipping in the water on the beach, did a little hiking, went out on kayaks and paddle boards, did some great snorkeling, and spent some time chilling in the hammocks. Really beautiful sunsets on the beach. If you go out snorkeling, remember to stop at the white platform. Food is included, and it was tasty. Dinner was rice, chicken, and two vegetables. Lunch was noodles and fried rice. Breakfast was eggs and toast or pancakes, which were very good. Beware of their home-made hot sauces :) The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the resort is well maintained. Each room has hammocks outside that are really inviting. No A/C, but the room fan was very comfortable at night. The room gets hot during the day, but that's when we were either out or chilling in the hammocks :) They run generators for power from 5-11pm. We enjoyed chatting with Awie, the chef and manager. The owner, Ella, was working hard with her staff, taking care of the place. All of the staff were very pleasant and friendly. It does take some effort to get there, but if you're looking for R&R in a beautiful beach and nature setting, I'd certainly recommend BigFin. Some logistical notes: 1. We had a rental car, and parking was provided at the boat pick up point. 2. There is no boat pier at the pick up or drop off point. You get on & off the boat in shallow beach water, so dress and pack accordingly. 3. The last stretch of road to get there is unpaved and narrow. We had no problem in our small rental car.

Nice place. I had a very pleasant stay. Staff are very helpful. The room was big enough and good for stay. The breakfast provided so simple but delicious. The accommodation very near to the usukan beach as a few steps only. Beautiful beach especially during high tide and it will be a very nice family gathering at Usukan Cove Lodge. Overall we had a very nice and good stay at there. Will come again soon.

Die erste Hotelbewertung im Ausland, gewidmet dem Dolphin Island Resort🐬 Ich habe meinen Kindern versprochen, sie einmal ins Ausland zu bringen, bevor sie zur Grundschule gehen. Ich konnte mein Versprechen nicht brechen. Ich habe Kota Kinabalu als Ziel ausgewählt. Sie können das Meer beobachten, Sand graben, schnorcheln und Fische beobachten. Das ist es, was meine Kinder lieben. Als ich mich für ein Hotel entschieden habe, hatte ich eine Phobie. Ich habe lange gezögert, aber ich habe meiner Intuition vertraut und mich für dieses Hotel entschieden. Es hat wirklich großartig geschmeckt! sehr empfehlenswert! Nach der Reservierung kontaktierte mich das Personal und fügte WeChat hinzu. Die verschiedenen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen wurden sehr klar erklärt. Nach dem Einchecken waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich war mit allem, einschließlich Essen, Unterkunft und Unterhaltung für ein paar Tage, sehr zufrieden. Unter den Mitarbeitern gibt es ein einheimisches Mädchen namens Snowman, das Chinesisch sprechen kann! Es gibt auch einen hübschen Kerl, der kein Chinesisch kann, den auf Bild 2. Er ist sehr aufmerksam auf die Kinder und hat unseren Babys das Schwimmen und Schnorcheln beigebracht. Ich bin sehr berührt... Abends gibt es auch eine Aufführung , was sehr lebhaft ist. Beim Verlassen sagte das Kind, dass es das nächste Mal gerne hierher kommen würde.

On our way to Cabana Retreat, we saw a couple of cows at the roadside. Since I wanted to take some photos, my friend made a U-turn so that I could capture a few. One cow was a shade of white & it looked quite tame & docile. The road leading to our retreat was very quiet. We hardly saw any cars & passed a jetty signboard. We arrived at 3:00 pm & managed to park our rented car near the Resort’s entrance. I went straight to the Front desk to check-in & to get our keys to our quad-tent. Thankfully, our quad-tent was located near to the common bathroom. We had chosen a quad-tent because the 4 of us wanted to have a glamping experience together. Unfortunately, one friend had to leave. Thus, there was 1 empty mattress on a wooden pallet which we had used to put all our food. Although the quad-tent was compact, it came equipped with an air-cooler, a standing fan, a small wooden table & chair, a wicker basket that was used as a wastepaper basket, a long mirror & a small area to hang our clothes. There was also a steel shoe rack. Throw pillows were given on each bed. The sheets & blankets were of hotel quality while the mattress was comfortable enough though I could still feel the wooden pallets underneath it all. The material covering our tents was of high quality too & we had double tent zippers for safety & protection. Our 2-day package came with free activities on the beach. Unfortunately, the staff was not available to teach us to handle the paddleboat. Hence, we had to forgo the non-motorised activities. My 2 friends decided to rest in the tent but I decided to walk on the beach. Strangely enough, I saw many cows on the beach! They were going for the waves. As it was starting to drizzle, I left the beach & headed back to the tent. Our package also included a Firefly experience on our 1st night. However, we had to drive to the jetty ourselves. When we arrived, we mentioned the name of our Hotel & were given admittance into the boat. The host, a middle-aged man told us to be quiet while he summoned the fireflies to our direction. It was such an awesome magical experience when the fireflies started appearing before your very eyes. Even if it’s not in the package, please make sure that you go for this activity. The next morning, we had breakfast at the Coffee House as it was included in the package. We were given a selection to choose from, either American or local meals. They were freshly made & tasty. The scenery was of the beach. There were also a few swings for guests to enjoy on underneath a roof. Outdoor tables, chairs & benches were provided on the beach where guests could enjoy their breakfast with the sand underneath their feet. There were many cats & dogs around the vicinity. Most probably they were strays. We saw a rooster trying to chase away a mangy dog. Throughout our stay, we would buy some food & feed the cats, dogs & rooster. In short, all meals – breakfast, lunch & dinner were at the Coffee House. We didn’t feel a need to

Ich habe das Paket auf Trip.com gekauft, das Ticket enthält, Ticket, chinesisches Essen und Frühstück, das ist eine etwas kurze Zeit, es ist besser, zwei Nächte zu verbringen, wir haben eine Nacht gebürdet. Weil die Reise länger ist und es mehr Spiele gibt, die auf der Insel Beauty Fish gibt. Nach dem Abfahrtstag kann der Hafen kein Mittagessen anbieten, aber der Hafen kann ein Mittagessen kaufen oder selbst Brotkuchen und so weiter mitnehmen, weil es noch zwei Stunden Fahrt zum Stadthafen von Houston gibt. Im Hafen erfahren Sie einige Aktivitäten, eine ist die Träumeinsel, ähnlich dem Meeresspielplatz, der Jungen und Mädchen vorwärts laufen, eine ist das Luftschirmhotel, meine Kinder sind mehr interessiert, aber die Zeit ist nicht zu spät, die Weihnachten können das nächste Mal erleben, empfehlen Sie es für die bedürftigen Freunde, sehen Sie Bilder.
