Nice, still have to improve alot of things I am trying to reception but call go to emergency department

The hotel has got a Wonderful decor and my guests has enjoyed a lot.This is the best hotel of Kolkata.Our second long stay at this hotel and it is is a pleasure to return. It feels like home here. The staff is excellent in their service and attitude. Especially Front office staff and housekeeping staff.The food is great in the breakfast buffet as also in the restaurant. Recommended to all

Das neue Landmark Building von ITC SONAR ist ein relativ stilvolles Hotel in der Gegend. Alle Einrichtungen sind neu, aber der Geruch der Dekoration wird aus neuen Gründen stärker sein. Es gibt chinesische Restaurants und chinesische Köche, und Sie können Ihre Lieblingsgerichte bestellen. Dies ist am vorteilhaftesten, der Verbrauch ist nicht niedrig, das Buffet ist 180.

Ich habe mir diese Zeit vergehen lassen und mir ein südseitiges Zimmer eingerichtet.

I shall start from arrival at the hotel. We were a family of four who had booked two rooms at the property. We arrived around 14:30 Hrs (at least 30 mins after the designated check-in time). First of all, although the check-in desk at the hotel is quite huge, there were only 3 staff members ***ning the desk, all of them occupied. We had to wait for around 15 mins, looking here and there like *****s with our bags on before someone greeted us. And I do not mind waiting for check-in; what I do mind is that despite multiple staff members seeing us wait, not one of them acknowledge our presence and asked us to take a seat and wait. They would all look at us and carry on. Forget a warm smile, forget a namaste, we were made to feel like fools just standing there without anyone attending to us. When we finally did get a chance to check in, we were given two adjacent rooms. The key to one room was handed over to us, and we were told that the second room is not ready yet and that as soon as it is ready the key would be sent to us in our room. We said okay and moved towards our room. Once in our room, all four of us sat waiting in one room for around 45 mins for the key to the second room. We were not able to unpack because we wanted to unpack in our respective rooms. Tired and hungry, we left the hotel to get ourselves some lunch and some sightseeing, hoping that by the time we return our second room would be ready. When we returned and asked for the key to the second room from the reception desk, we were told that the room that was allocated to us had been now given to someone else -- and we were given some other room that was ”close” to the first room. I understand that asking for adjacent rooms is a mere request and not a right. But had we been given a ”close” room earlier, we could have gotten the keys earlier at the time of check-in! We waited for a room for so long, only for it to be given to someone else. Fast forward to the next morning's breakfast. The spread was quite good and quite diverse in variety. However, again the entire staff at the breakfast looked tense for some reason. And they kept messing up with live counter orders. No one had a smile on, no one welcomed you with warmth, and no one made you feel as if you were staying in a 5-star hotel (which The Lalit considers itself to be). Our entire experience with The Lalit was below par at the very least. It was not the kind of experience you would expect from a branded property that so conveniently calls itself a luxury 5-star property. I honestly feel for the money that I paid, I could and should have gotten a different property and that would have been definitely better. For the foreseeable future, and till things change, I do not see myself staying at any Lalit property.

I visited Gallery 67 a few times for a Banquet Hall meeting and for dining. All the times, I have received exceptional service from the staff and manager! Regarding food, I will just say ”Wow!”. We have tried their Chinese or Indian cuisine and have always found them delicious. They do serve buffet and can customize as per the needs of the customers, if it's organized for any corporate event. Regarding the Banquet Hall service, it was simply superb. Their staff took care of the smallest of needs and minor changes that were required for the event. Special shout-out for Mr. Subhasis Das and Mr. Utpal Samanta! I have interacted with both of them and found them to be extremely helpful. In fact, Mr. Subhasis Das has been an amazing host every time. Overall, I am elated with their service and value for money. I would definitely recommend this up and happening joint located right at the junction of Bidhannagar and Salt Lake entry. P.S. I didn't try their rooms yet, so I can't add anything about it in my review right now.

Ich fühlte mich wie zu Hause. Die Wärme in der Unterkunft ist extrem unglaublich und zeigt, das Erbe von Kolkata ist WOW. Ich habe bereits meine Familie und Freunde raajkutir für den Aufenthalt empfohlen. Das Personal hat mein Herz gewonnen. Ich habe in so ***y 5star Eigenschaft geblieben, aber der Grund, warum ich wieder mit Raajkutir übernachten war sein Personal wie Shang, Sunita, Sapna, Parthib, Marisa, Aninita, Disha. Chef Bisw***p machte mich zu spezial bengalischen thali und f&b Mitarbeiter im Osten Indien, die mir jede Gericht erläuterten. Auch, ich werde sagen, wenn ein guter Führer ein Team führt, dass die Einheit zeigt im Team - das passt für das Frontbüro ***ager Riki. Er ist extrem humorvoll und großzügig. Er hat das Herz gewonnen, als wir weg waren und er half mit mir mit meinem Gepäck. Er ist FOM, er kann einfach anderen Mitarbeitern sagen, das zu tun, aber er ist so hilfsbereit, er hat sich mein Gepäck tragen und bis zum Auto gefallen. Dies ist der Grund, warum TAJ ist anders als andere Hotels. Sie sind auf ihre Arbeit gründet. Exe Koch Suvashish Mukherjee nahm seine Zeit und verbrachte mit uns und gab einen Blick auf so ***y Bengali Lebensmittel Geschichten und teilen seine Erfahrung mit TAJ von 3 Generation. Als ich ihn über die Art und Weise lobpreiste, wie alle Mitarbeiter so ödmjuk sind, sagte er, Frau, dass ich das von meinem Führer, Herrn Tata, gelehrt habe und seine Erfahrung mit Herrn Ratan Tata teilte, und der Aufzug wird von einem anderen Gast genutzt. Mr. Tata hat nicht schlecht oder wütend auf die Mitarbeiter, weil er den Aufzug nicht für ihn hält, aber er sagte einfach, ich habe das Gefühl, ich habe sehr lange gesessen und wir sollten die Treppen seine heiße und lächelnd. Diese schönen Geschichten können wir nur von Mitarbeitern von TAJ hören, weil sie sich dort fühlen wie zu Hause an der Arbeit und sie machen Gäste fühlen wie zu Hause. Ich war nicht so gut die Pflege von den 2 Damen im Spa durch die Anregung Dampf und Massage. Einfach unglaublich Aufenthalt. Ich werde sicher zurückkommen. Danke für Ihre Liebe zu allen in Raajkutir.

Insgesamt ist das Hotel älter und die Einrichtungen sind älter, aber die Lage ist besser und es ist näher an meinem Ziel. Am Anfang war es nicht viel, und die beiden wichtigsten Punkte waren nicht sehr zufriedenstellend: 1) Wenn Sie einige Stunden im Voraus einchecken, wird Ihnen der halbe Tagespreis berechnet, und Sie können den Preis nicht besprechen; 2) Für einen späten Check-out wird ebenfalls der Zimmerpreis für einen halben Tag berechnet. Die Gebühren sind verständlich und die Einrichtungen veraltet, aber die Gesamteinstellung ist nicht sehr zufriedenstellend. Bei Auswahl wird diese nicht gewählt. Aber gelegentlich blieb nichts, die Gesamtempfehlung ist moderat.

If you're in Kolkata to enjoy the romantic ambiance of a city with real soul, this place is the right establishment, in the right location and has more than reasonable prices. Immaculately kept rooms, helpful but unassuming staff and some lovely little touches (particularly loved the old books and pictures of grandad and great grand dad in the reception) make this a place a real jewel and a nice surprise to end our trip to India with. If you suspect Im exagerating, do yourself a favor and take a chance on it. You'll be glad you did.
